Why did Tav come out with that "one more slip statement? "All it does is give media and opposing fans a chance to bring it up when next we draw or get beat and ask him if that's the league gone? just looks stupid whatever he answers at that time I wish they'd think before putting out these articles.

To the Tav haters! In all honesty he's been one of our most consistent performers over the past few seasons and yes he gets suspect with his defensive play but when we actually think of it it's because we've had crap centre backs! This season with Gouldson playing ( and his numerous partners ) he has been more solid in my opinion but still has the threat going forward!

The manager sets a team out to play and whatever manager it has been will know Tav is one of our best offensive players and will more than probably push him forward hoping the centre backs will cover over or the defensive midfielder!

I for one think Tav is a massive player for us and even in defeat he's always one of our stand out players wither you want to find someone to blame or not!

Are you not being a bit dramatic? Tav haters? Doubt very much anyone hates him maybe they just don’t rate him and are giving their opinion. Just because you don’t rate a player doesn’t mean you hate him.

Correct bankie, Tav is limited in many areas. His press conference showed no drive or leadership.

Don’t get me wrong Tav has been great for us and should be first name on the team sheet. I actually feel sorry for him as not only does he lack the leadership skills to be captain but the responsibility is probably having a negative impact on his game.
