Speaking to an ex director of ours. He is confident we will sign 3-4 players at between 3-5 million.
Remainder made up of Bosman like Hastie, Davies Jones etc
Also he feels Morelos will go for a record fee for Rangers,
He thinks a CH a ten and a striker surprisingly non Scottish, he did say they were his thoughts not any inside info.

1.) 11 May 2019 12:07:55
Sounds very encouraging Jboy21!I think morelos will definitely be sold in the close season for probably anything between £12million-£16million. I've heard like yourself a no.10,2 strikers if morelos is sold and one of them is on loan, a left back,2 centre halfs again i heard one on loan and of course the permanent signing of ryan kent, if not at worst another 1 year loan with an option to buy. All looking good mate!

2.) 11 May 2019 12:21:57
Super for what we r both hearing need to clear out to free up wages.

3.) 11 May 2019 12:36:51
Thinking of players I'd clear out to save money, Foderingham, Alnwick, McAuley, Holt, Wallace, Dorian's Dodoo Herrera. grezda. Lafferty
Loan players, Coulibally, Worrall,
Also not sure Docherty or Rossiter have a future, although I like both
Also believe we will sell a couple of players, i. e. Halliday, Tav mb barisic.

4.) 11 May 2019 13:44:19
Heard from who SC11?

5.) 11 May 2019 13:49:59
Players to go most of the above but young Doc not a chance.

6.) 11 May 2019 13:54:53
We most definitely need to have a mini clear out, especially with midfielders.

7.) 11 May 2019 14:27:37
Seems to me Jboy that ex directors are as believable as guys at petrol stations!

I know of only 1 ex director who remains close to DK and the current board and he doesn’t share much even to his closest friends.

We all have opinions of course and they deserve to be heard.

8.) 11 May 2019 14:40:18
From a source of mine who's a former employee of rangers L17MAC, that's who mate.

9.) 11 May 2019 15:02:22
Is he as accurate as the Motherwell Coach?

10.) 11 May 2019 15:37:52
Much more. Remember the motherwell coach told me all about the hastie situation. Where's young Jake hastie going to be playing his football now mate? I do wonder!

11.) 11 May 2019 17:10:11
Jboy I’m not doubting you spoke with an ex director and he stated the above, however, I very much doubt he’s in the know and sounds more like a fans wish list than fact. I do believe that if Morelos goes then the cash paid up front will go straight into the transfer kitty. most transfers aren’t paid in full so would be a percentage of say 50% in initial window.

12.) 11 May 2019 18:28:12
Coop getting shot of at least 12 - 14 players is not a mini clear out, that's a massive clear out. Almost a starting 11 and subs bench is for the chop👍.

13.) 11 May 2019 20:43:11
Coldo shhhhh as Coop is replacing the manager as well with his best pal Biiily Davies 😂😂.

14.) 11 May 2019 20:49:10
Don't agree coldo whatsoever that as you say, almost all our starting 11 are for the chop. Not a chance will that happen! Fringe players for the chop yes, practically all our starting 11, no chance. 😂😂.

15.) 11 May 2019 21:19:30
Thats not what I said coop, go back and read it👍. I said 12-14 players is a starting 11 and a subs bench. ie a team of 11 players and subs. Which is not a mini clear out. You really are the gift that keeps on giving👍👏😂.

16.) 11 May 2019 21:30:43
Scotty that's how I said his thoughts are.

17.) 11 May 2019 21:37:44
Superbly written blackwoodbear! 😂😂.

18.) 11 May 2019 22:38:37
He didn't say that though coop.

19.) 12 May 2019 07:14:12
So easy coldo 😂😂.

20.) 12 May 2019 07:17:30
Just can't believe you even think there's a smouldering chance of steven gerrard getting shot of the majority of our starting 11 coldo! 😂

21.) 12 May 2019 08:01:54
SC11 what is this coaches name? He wasn’t accurate at all if memory serves right. I’ll ask him when I’m at the Motherwell Academy pre season. And a former employee of Rangers knows SG’s transfer plans. Just think about that 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 you’re an absolute blether!

22.) 12 May 2019 08:31:32
Coop is the gift that just keeps giviing, Warburton/ England Manager - Holt/ Durrant - Billy Davies as Manager 😂.

23.) 12 May 2019 09:03:51
See these people that say “players, coaches, directors have told me this and told me that, stop embarrassing yourselves you are just guessing like the rest of us. As if they would tell Some randomer who’s at the pub or at a petrol station “oh here mate want some news coming outta Ibrox. But Dave king sent me a Xmas card last week just wishing me a happy Easter and that we are definitely going to sign a few players.

24.) 12 May 2019 09:33:22
Its not his fault blueberry lol. Not once did I mention or imply "our" starting 11. He's a belter😂😂👍.

25.) 12 May 2019 11:12:24
ah coop is that using the old "bait" patter to cover up the fact that you made a clown of yourself again. good effort mate lol but you are a gift, you read my post wrong and now you are trying to save face. too late we all know you fecked up again lol.

09 May 2019 16:01:57
My info is Jake Cooper is first choice for Rangers.

Jboy21

1.) 09 May 2019 16:20:46
I’ve watched him a few times for millwall and I think he would be an excellent signing!

2.) 09 May 2019 17:09:31
I believe he signed a new 3 year contract with Millwall, so would cost plenty.

3.) 09 May 2019 17:25:28
Ya probably around 3 or 4 million ulster!

4.) 09 May 2019 18:29:56
Ulster I’d agree 3-4 million.

5.) 09 May 2019 20:36:07
Cooper signed a long term contract earlier in season to maintain his transfer value. I’ve seen him 3 or 4 times and he would be a good acquisition. Millwall reported to be looking for £8 million.

6.) 09 May 2019 23:04:52
I fear we might get priced out of a move by other Championship clubs who could pay around the £6m that it would probably take for Millwall to part with their prize assert.
I think £3m would be our limit unless an Alfredo exit deal is already on the cards.
Agree with you guys been watching him since we were linked with him earlier in the season and he has always looked the part.

7.) 10 May 2019 08:12:50
When he signed the contract there was release clauses added. don't know where millwall sit in league but know he has a relegation clause. Think he would be a great buy. Young strong and good in the air like katic and goldson. Could build defense for next few years if we pick him up and a good youngish left back and bring back kelly the goalie at livi.

8.) 10 May 2019 12:24:15
Bellshill their league is finished, millwall stayed up.

9.) 10 May 2019 13:24:55
Millwall were not relegated so the so called relegation clause is void. He's an £8 Million pound player down south, absolutely no chance he is signing for Rangers.

10.) 10 May 2019 13:46:24
Cooper has been linked with us a long time. He would be an excellent signing but not a cheap one.

06 May 2019 20:34:37
Heard last night Kent deal has been done.
5.5 million, sell on clause, four year.

Jboy21

1.) 06 May 2019 20:40:13
Hopefully true Jboy. Statement of intent if true!

2.) 06 May 2019 20:40:39
Hope so jboy👍.

3.) 06 May 2019 20:54:04
U all know I'm not sure, but lady who told me is certain. Also reckons ch from France coming, papers do say that.

4.) 06 May 2019 20:57:04
Never worth that tho.

5.) 06 May 2019 21:32:56
Think mexer from rennes is next in the door.

6.) 06 May 2019 21:39:10
Bit pricey Jboy but happy with that if true! Let’s push on and get more done!

7.) 06 May 2019 21:42:05
Folks I agree re price only sharing what she said. Also much better than the twelve papers quote.

8.) 06 May 2019 21:48:51
If you consider the prices in that league then I think that is a very good price for him. Remember Solanke and what he went for, and yes he did get an odd game I know but if the price quoted for Kent is correct then it's a good piece of business imo. Develop further and sell on for a tidy profit in a few seasons. It's the model we need to be following as we don't have access to the Sky monies or rich Arab's knocking on our door. The only billionaire we've rubbed shoulders with tried to ruin our club not build it up.

9.) 06 May 2019 22:34:03
Hope your info regarding ryan kent is spot on Jboy21. Would be tremendous news for all our supporters, if we sign kent permanently! Here's hoping.

10.) 07 May 2019 12:33:32
i think 5.5M is too high. even developed i can't see major clubs looking at him, else why aren't they just now to buy at 5.5 as a potential.

11.) 07 May 2019 13:33:37
I want Kent permanently but at 5.5 million with Hastie, Jones and murphy to comeback in. a just don’t know . If he had more end product then definitely but think the price is a bit much.

12.) 07 May 2019 14:45:09
I agree with you Gersdaft, regarding the steep price, if it is £5.5million to buy ryan kent permanently! His ability ain't in question for me. Kent will only get better and better and thinking longer term, it should be money very well spent! Kent will get rangers a helluva lot more than the speculated £5.5million, we rumoured to be paying liverpool, to buy him permanently! We would probably be well into double figures, if we sold kent, a few years down the road. He can tear defences apart on his game, as of course the song goes!

13.) 07 May 2019 14:55:24
So we can sell Morelos for £20M and players go for hundreds of millions but Ryan Kent at £5M is too pricey? He's not worth that?

In this market that's a great price for him.

14.) 07 May 2019 15:18:06
if this is true then its 5.5m wasted

whats makes this a great price? 6 goals and 4 assists in 24 league games for a team who dominate most games is a poor return

id be expecting at least double that.

15.) 07 May 2019 15:46:49
Totally agree with jbf500
Kent can’t beat any man not questioning that but his goal and assist ratio is pretty poor.

16.) 07 May 2019 17:34:42
A message for both jbf500 and Deemc22.Kent was easily the best player on show, in the last 2 old firm games! He's a terrific winger and will only get better and better.
So capable of tearing teams apart.
What are some of you guys watching?
Its certainly NOT ryan kent your watching, with statements like that guys.

17.) 07 May 2019 18:06:21
Kent IS capable of tearing teams apart coop but over £5m for a lad with a lot of potential but far too often no end product seems a bit steep.

18.) 07 May 2019 20:55:53
Ok blueberry, do you reckon ryan kent isn't capable of tearing teams apart in the scottish premiership? I agree that if true, £5.5million is a lot of dough for us to fork out for 1 player. On the flip side of that, I can only see kent getting better and better and without question as far as i'm concerned, will make us big money in the transfer market, a few years down the line! Isn't it enough also that our manager rates him so very highly and is desperate to sign ryan kent?

19.) 07 May 2019 22:20:18
He's a talented lad with bags of potential. £5m+ for the boy is a lot of money. Yes our manager, Steven Gerrard rates Kent! So do I! I merely pointed out that £5m is a lot of money for our club to spend on one player!

20.) 07 May 2019 22:38:08
Blueberry, i agreed it was a lot of dough for us to spend on 1 player mate. I did state that!

21.) 08 May 2019 05:45:43
Am not arguing with you coop, merely expressing an opinion.

22.) 08 May 2019 11:02:38
Fair enough blueberry. We're all entitled to our opinions mate.

23.) 08 May 2019 13:00:21
SC11

im not saying that Kent isn't a good player. Yes he has ability and yes he can beat men left right and centre. but then what? final ball is more often than not a waste or he tries to beat him again and loses ball

yes he was good in last 2 old firm games but he is not consistent enough with assists and goals to splash that kinda money on him.

24.) 08 May 2019 14:06:06
Jbf500. You are correct Kent has the ability But 5.5 m Maybe 2.5 m SC11 as for tearing teams apart 6 Goals in 24 games Says it all really.

25.) 09 May 2019 18:52:11
while the rumoured fee for kent is a big fee it is probably a fair fee for the lad considering teams are already looking at him if we can improve his game and he adds more goals and assists the lad will be sold for at least double this fee if not more.

26.) 09 May 2019 18:55:12
maybe just me - but can someone actually tell me when he beat a man? or 'tore anyone apart' as the song goes. He flatters to deceive and does a lot of nice stuff without damaging teams.
He may have potential but 5.5mill for me is a risk.

29 Mar 2019 12:12:50
Papers report we have just agreed deal of 15k a week to sign Hastie on four year deal.
I'd be astounded if we are paying that.

Jboy21

1.) 29 Mar 2019 13:40:26
Type of player we should be signing, can't be getting that wage surely though.

2.) 29 Mar 2019 13:56:39
I agree just the type of player we should be looking at. I hope no more than 8-10k per week tho.

3.) 29 Mar 2019 14:40:58
If its true were signing him I reckon it'll be close to 15 grand a month, no a week. He's no worth that kind of money yet but good prospect. But Surely atakayi, Coombes or even Dallas should be given a chance before signing hastie though. In my eyes they deserve a shot first.

4.) 29 Mar 2019 14:55:43
15k a week is hard to believe, good signing tho👍.

5.) 29 Mar 2019 14:58:30
Could be that amount money per week as a lot of english teams have been chasing him in the championship and premier leauge.

6.) 29 Mar 2019 15:34:05
Agree jaymac coombes especially should be given chance before he becomes another gilmour.

7.) 29 Mar 2019 16:13:51
Apparently the wages are 15k a week including bonuses.

8.) 29 Mar 2019 18:51:49
Coombes not ready, Dallas can't get game at Morton.

9.) 29 Mar 2019 18:53:10
Craig if getting 15 k a week he would be higher than majority of players there.
Was on 500 at Motherwell according to Robinson.

10.) 30 Mar 2019 06:14:28
Honestly can’t see him on £15k per week however that is only £3m over 4 years and surely we would be looking for him to develop into that sort of value bracket (or more) hope he comes and plays as I see lots of goals in this lad, very well developed physically for his age and has a rocket left peg, far more chances will come his way with us, good move all round!

11.) 30 Mar 2019 07:56:58
£15k per week including bonuses.
Guess he would be on £10k maybe £2k appearance and win bonus possibly £1k per goal.
Still seems a bit steep tbh I’d have expected £5k. The fact it’s took a month or so since initially announced to get over the line indicates we have probably had to pay more than we would normally expect though still think £15k is too much for half a good season in top flight.

12.) 30 Mar 2019 09:13:17
15k a week, behave. More like 15k a month jesus christ - at a push. The fact that so many people here seem to think that is even remotely realistic is wild to me.

13.) 30 Mar 2019 10:29:03
To be fair I agree that we should be giving our younger players a chance but our results and form this season haven't really given us the opportunity.
So many games have been so important that it makes it a bit of a gamble to throw youngsters in, it seems every game we play is a must win because every other week we have been dropping points.
I suppose that is the argument though, that throwing a young lad in might inject some energy and something different and other teams are playing very young players at times.
I just think the pressure is too much sometimes playing for us that we have to choose the right time to throw them in.
Having said that some of the current 1st team players don't seem to be able to handle the pressure so maybe giving them a we kick up the rear by dropping them for a young player might help.
I just hope we turn up tomorrow, if we turn up I don't think it matters what team Celtic have out, as long as we turn up it will be a good contest but if we don't it could be hide behind the couch stuff lol.

14.) 30 Mar 2019 17:25:19
If we keep morelos and lose Kent then would have front 3 of Jones morelos and hastie. IMO that would be a decent front 3 plenty of pace trickery and a decent goal threat. Think kamara Jack and a new no10 in midfield. Tav barisic gouldson and would like maybe souttar from heart or Cooper from millwall at the back. Realistically I think McKenna from sheep will be priced out a move to us. As much as I love greegs I would like to see us bring a younger keeper maybe boy that went to luck from us. Think he is future Scotland no1.

14 Jan 2019 15:00:44
Golfing at Turnberry today, my football friend reckons Skirtle a serous option to sign two year pre contract.

Jboy21

1.) 14 Jan 2019 15:39:34
According to the journos on The Totally Football show he's really slowed down recently and has been poor in the Turkish league this year.

He would also want huge money so we would be better off going for someone a bit younger.

2.) 14 Jan 2019 17:15:29
Don't think he offers any value at the wages he will command. We have a fair bit of experience we need to start adding players in the 22 to 25 age bracket who we can develop a bit more then make a profit on. It's how we should be working to trim the debt.

3.) 14 Jan 2019 17:21:50
Jboy21, i didn't go golfing today, however i did read that report online regarding Skirtle in the comfort of my home. I not sure Skirtle is right for us, to expensive with no sell on.

4.) 14 Jan 2019 17:55:10
He would be a brilliant player for us, he could play for a good few seasons yet.

5.) 14 Jan 2019 20:58:22
Anyone heard anything about ravel Morrison? Seen something on twitter saying he’s started following a lot of the current squad.

6.) 14 Jan 2019 21:24:15
I posted, before SG had signed anyone, that most of our signings would be done early in the window. Obviously with other teams signing players some fresh players may become available. Skrtle will have been scouted diligently by us, if he's a target, we have taken a small punt on Defoe cause he ain't been playing. So if we sign him he will be good enough.

How about a 32red pre season tournament.
Rangers, Leeds, Villa and Derby.

Jboy21

1.) 16 May 2019 12:31:51
Great post and idea👍.

2.) 16 May 2019 12:44:53
32red would get great pr from it.

3.) 16 May 2019 15:24:41
Either villa or derby won't be bothered taking on runners up and losers. more interested in playing against champions and teams with potential.

4.) 16 May 2019 15:34:35
Or maybe they should just watch our last game anotherpainintherear.

5.) 16 May 2019 15:56:58
Both villa and derby aren’t champions so that doesn’t make any sense! I was just thinking that last night watching Leeds match jboy Leeds villa stoke and rangers that would be a decent mini pre season tournament.

6.) 16 May 2019 17:35:36
I assume you need the tournament as you know rangers won't get very far in their Europa league qualification campaign. not seeded passed the second round.

7.) 16 May 2019 18:30:49
Got far enough last season!

16 May 2019 11:18:37
As much as I dislike Brown, fair play to him.
He along with Kent has signed a picture of Kent shoving him.
To be auctioned for a Rangers supporter who is terminally ill with cancer.

Well done to youth team winning their league.
Also qualified for champions league youth cup. Great experience for young players to develop
Good luck to reserves on Monday.

Here here Jboy21!

2.) 03 May 2019 21:25:46
Great achievement by the young boys.

3.) 03 May 2019 22:07:27
The success of our youth set up is paramount to our future success👍.

4.) 04 May 2019 11:22:09
It augurs well that the youth are doing so well. Over the next few years we will hopefully see some of them pushing to get in the squad and then the first team, if they are good enough then they are old enough.

That does not mean they still own part of him.

Thewanpacer. He was playing out of position, he is a winger, also plays the same at right back . Very good player.
Wilson was excellent too, Kent won't get in front of him at Liverpool, could be a bonus.
