As much as many maybe want it, gio ain't dropping tav tonight. Barasic, probably but like someone said, if he is keeping him as captain then he needs him onside just now. Please remember that this won't be an instant turn around. Gio needs to be given time to implement his style/ tactics. I hope that of we don't get the result we are looking for tonight that people won't be too harsh after it. Guys only took two training sessions.

Gio dropped close friend Kuyt to the bench during his spell at Feyenoord.
So I'm not so sure he'll be interested in previous reputations.

I don't think anyone is safe OT, but time will tell. If Patterson starts tonight, then it's my opinion he'll be our first pick right back from now on. It's a big If, though. Also, If Tav gets dropped, who takes over the captaincy? Goldson? I hope not!

I expect to see Patterson starting tonight, probably with Salaka, Roofe and McLaughlin as well but we'll see.

Team I expect to play and all playing to keep jerseys from now on. I’m expecting full backs to tuck in more and not being asked to provide width giving us a better defensive solidity and scope for our 2 wide attackers to be direct and go at them higher up the pitch. Time will tell but he won’t make massive changes after just 2 sessions on training pitch.
