Hi everyone, what with the Champions league qualifying draw this week it got me thinking about the 72 win . I was 10 when this happened and I remember it all well . And my hero at the time Colin Stein (great striker) kept scoring in most games, anyway in the semi both Rangers and Celtic played on the same night in Glasgow and I have got it in my mind Rangers kicked off earlier? Or am I wrong? Can anyone confirm this for me please.

Rangers game did kick off a half hour earlier Robbie. As the Celtic game had gone to extra time I tried to convince myself on the way home, it would be good for the Scottish game if Celtic got through. I got back just in time to watch Dixie Dean blast his penalty over the bar. Happy days.

Fantastic memories, I was 13, my older brother went to Barcelona.
One of my mates had drawn a big 3-2 to Rangers prediction poster long before the final and stuck it above the mantle piece . Colin Stein what a magical player two hat tricks and a double in his first three games now that’s what you call a striker. Fingers crossed Danilo has a similar start to his career.
