Just what exactly is the process for appointing a new Rangers manager?
Do we just read the sports pages and pick targets or is it based on stats
In the couple of days since the announcement was made the number of names is mind boggling. obviously the interview is important but some people are very good at interviews just look around the office and think how did we hire that clown. It's a difficult decision I just hope we have a wee bit of luck, surely we're due some and we get the right man. Fingers crossed.

Sadly I now believe that should be the end of the Michael Beale project. As a football team we are so easy to play against our football is very predictable and as such can be counteracted comfortably. Injuries are not an excuse we were poor with a fully fit squad, we're a struggling side that with no rhythm or game plan. Back to square one again.

The squad have rarely been all fit since the day he arrived mate. Even if Beale goes the number of injuries happening at Ibrox needs to be investigated. We had the exact same issue under GVB.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could in fact turn our season around. Real Betis are no mugs don't be misled by their last result, this will be a tough test. I really hope we try and win the game by being positive and using our vocal home support. As a football fan and Gers supporter for 60 years I'm just longing for a team that we can all be proud of once again.

Betis are a really good team .
PSV are flying just now . Top of their league . 14 goals for i think 1 against.
And sone using our bad result against them to want our manager sacked .
We had them on the ropes at Ibrox.

Still a team we knocked out last year. Only 2 players different in starting X1 and minus their star player from last year in symons. If they can improve why not us. Still at home have to believe we can get something from this game.

If we play like we did at home to PSV we will be fine, need to withstand their pressure and possesion and hit them when we can, same as any euro game against a good team, need a wee bit of luck and a lot of effort.

PSV had a few changes from last season and we had too many and we were well beaten . An offside goal and an own goal made the score look worse but we didn`t deserve to win, however that's not the reason that fans want rid of Beale. Its the poor performances, poor recruitment and lack of a system that had made us doubt him and these were all highlighted in the performance in the OF game when we were rank rotten.

Mols if he had only lost the PSV game it wouldn’t be enough to warrant the sack, but let’s be honest it was pre season worries followed by a opening day defeat quickly followed by PSV and then against a weak and vulnerable Celtic side we play the most god awful tactics to hand them a morale boosting victory.
Any manager of Rangers would be under pressure following that set of performances. Let’s see how brave he is on Thursday. Will he go for the win or will we sit back and defend, hoping to hit on the counter. I’m sure the master tactician has already sorted out line up number 11 or 12.

He’s to blame because he is the manager, he picks the players he sets them up tactically. I’ve been a Rangers fan long enough to have seen plenty of losses but the manner in which we are playing is the biggest concern for the fans. We are absolutely clueless, how many more key games does he need to lose. It will be interesting to see how good PSV are in the CL.

Any of our players should be sold if a decent offer is made, we must always have recruits identified to replace those that move on . Selling Tav and Goldson this summer would probably be the last time we could.

John I don’t think that is any way disrespectful to the memory of Daniel Prodan
He was signed by the club and never kicked a ball so yes it was a bad signing, his death at such a young age was a tragedy but surely people can still talk about his football life in a purely sporting context.
