I agree that we need a new manager however i feel that the timing of all this talk about replacing murty is shocking it clearly shows that the board are only interested in getting our season ticket renewal money. Imo all this talk of new players manager etc should have not been leaked until we have secured second spot.

What must murty and players be thinking going into the last 4 games. They must be feeling totally let down and as a result there is now a higher risk that we could end up finish 4th and relying in the unclean winning the cup to secure our European slot giving that mobs support more opportunities to give it 2 our fans. Not a happy bear guys bring on the disagrees guys.

How will the players be feeling totally let down. If the board were not trying to get a new manager for next season then they wouldn't be doing there job. If i was there as a player and had been told there was a new manager for next season. I would be going be doing my best to impress.

I agree Honda, hopefully make the players step up knowing they have to impress! Also Murty will at least know what is happening and ease the pressure on him to say win the last four games, and get put in to the managers plans for next year.

They have no right to be feeling let down after the dross they’ve shown on the pitch. They need to play to keep there place in the squad is the way i see it.

Think back to the last game, Murtys tactics didn't work, we were thrashed, we had players arguing and fighting etc. no team spirit, no leadership on the field,
Well in my opinion maybe it would do them good to know that they are being watched by a new manager and could be playing for their future, could make them put a bit more effort in!

United Kingdom. The new manager talk about SG, might prove to be a master stroke. Letting that out before the game against the mhankie mhob, must surely put a rocket up the players. Like the guys have said, they'll be playing for their futures. Might just spoil the pharty after all

Can only be a good thing. These players need to know they must leave nothing on the park (unless it is a boot print on thumb or peanut heid) and that they are playing for the right to be in the squad next season. I can accept lack of ability but I'll never accept lack of effort

It is right and proper that we consider our manager for next season as Murty is only contracted to Summer. Murty may be in the mix as well! Would you rather the board sat on their hands and rushed things later on?

I get all of your opinions re it may give players a kick up the butt to up their game however if you look through the history book of similar situations the vast majority of times the teams involved takes a dip in form. Ps i truly hope i'm wrong.

On stevie g, i feel this move is going to be a massive gamble as he is inexperienced and has some mess to sort out poss having to ship out at least 10 players and replace them with a better quality.
One off my biggest concerns is that we start taking lesser offers for players in order to get them out the door.

We will need to give whoever gets the job time as such a massive turn around in playing staff will result in inconsistency till the manager gets his settled team and beds in the new players.
