I think the board and Dave King have done a great job sins taking back control however I would like to see us go and buy a commanding center half with pace . We pain 1.5m for Garner brilliant start after the years of struggle. You get what you pay for in anything. Senderous has a good CV but struggles with injury .

Aye A Good Defence is top priority for a serious SPL challenge, otherwise we could end up mid table and no European football again.

I was never a fan of Walter smith. My reasons are he rarely gave youth a chance and he sat in to much for my liking and showed to my fear of other teams especially in euro in my opinion. One thing he did do I his second spell was first thing get your back line sorted. Give Warburton the money he needs for a good center half.

So, and forgive me if I am wrong, but it seems to read that you would happily splurge another 1.5million (that we don't actually have) because you "get what you pay for".

I am pretty sure I can point to half a squad of free agents and low fees to prove you wrong on that account .

Walter Smith is the greatest manager the club has or ever will have.

His team's would wipe the floor with our current team.

Were his team's pretty to watch? No. But they were well organised, solid and effective.

Ofcousre Walters team would beat our currant team he spent money.
