If ever their was a player this current team needs at the moment its Ryan Kent. We look non existent without a natural left sided player. And I'll say again letting candeias go so easy will come back to haunt us. If JJ was brought in to replace Kent why was he not started? Although I've said I dobt believe he is the answer he would have provided us with an option o the left rather than playing 2 attacking left backs in barisic and halliday. We're nowhere near what's needed to stop 9 in a row and if the board have any ambitions then they need to get Kent in asap, keep morelos and start him every week and let Arfield play the role he played last year. Ojo is getting found out already.

Correct it was blatantly obvious tonight that we were missing the trickery of Kent. Get the cheque book out now! If we make it to the group stages that's more than half the fee paid!

How many on here saying we don't need Kent, well tonight proved how much we miss him.

And even at £7m he is a young player and a good investment.

I told all of you's weeks ago that kent is what we need and that ojo is 💩. I told you's last week that we played 💩 and we were even 💩er tonight. I'm glad you's are up to speed now, took your time but better late than never👍.

Not sure what you watched there Bryan but Arfield played exactly the role he played in last year. Had Jones played we would have been back to 4-3-3 with Arfield not playing that role.

You would think we just didn't progress to next round.

We struggled to break teams down last year with Kent in team, so why so many think having him back would solve that problem is beyond me.

Coldo your constant derision of ojo is baffling even seriel rangers hater Tom English says he will cause havoc up here this season and looks a serious player I cannot understand your almost hatred for this lad and why you won't give him a chance on a more competitive stage before slaughtering him. Liverpool seem to rate him for the long term to say he's 💩 is out of order when he clearly isn't.

I actually thought Ojo played well tonight and that he will score a load of goals for us this season. I also thought you really seen the difference between Defoe and Morelos. We created more in the 20 mins after Alfredo’s introduction than we did in the previous 70 and that was mainly down to the presence we had up front in the final 20 compared to the lack of presence before Alfredo came on.
