I'm always interested reading everyone's view of the game and it's amazing how different everyone sees it. A few things I just wanted to mention. I agree that our high pressure seems to be gone. Lucky if we did it twice last night. We seemed happy to let their back 4 have the ball. We used this tactic against Celtic and it worked but Lyon were a different class than Celtic. Lundstram did have his best game for Rangers but that's not saying much to be honest. He has been very poor for us and any improvement in performance would be noticeable. The problem is he is too slow on the ball and all his passes are backwards or sideways. When you play with 3 in the middle and 3 up top you need to hit teams quickly and get the ball forward and hope your 3 up front overload their back line. Kent is a brilliant Rangers player who was just awful last night. His reaction to losing possession for both goals wasn't good. He never looked interested in trying to put extra effort in to atone for his errors. He put his head down and walked alone back to the centre circle. Roofe and Wright looked lively when they came on. I didn't really want to say this last one but the atmosphere was rubbish last night. With the exception of when the players first came out and maybe a few songs being sung in the first few minutes it was terrible. Even before we conceded the first goal the crowd were very subdued. Much like the players. that's the worst atmosphere I've ever experienced at a European night. The players all looked slow and lethargic and the fans were the same. No passion shown. Everything was just flat.

Good post MOCBear. Think we believed if pushed high press consistently they would pass thru us and their technically superior offensive players cause damage. As it turned out not sure we got tactics wrong but some players not at their best, particularly Davis,
& Kent. Having said that believe they had technically better players in most positions. Need to regroup and move on quickly now starting Sunday.

Not sure gap is getting bigger we've made it out our group 2 year in a row. Gap getting bigger from when as were only recently just back in european football.
