With all the injury talk of John Souttar, I Hope he lasts longer than Alan McLaren. Alan played an average of 19 games a season.

At the same time bluetoon i hope souttar is as good a centre half as alan mclaren as barring his serious knee injury that forced retirement, he would have gone on to be the rangers captain for many a year👌
Mclaren was a quality centre half👌.

Hi Brian apologies for slow reply. just feel it's a, gamble based, on his medical history and I don't feel he improves the team we have . but as, I say he will always, get my backing and I have been wrong before 😊.

Go on occasion you need to sign a player who enhances the squad and not the team.
Obviously goalkeeper is one position also I believe ch is another.
Helander obviously injured, imagine if goldston were to be out to.
We are fortunate Bassey for now is doing fine for a player who can’t header a ball.
Balogun is ok but getting on, tav lasted three minutes at ch.
We know Edmundson, katic Simpson all fell short so by bringing in soutttar we have improved squad.
He will in short term take Bassey place imo as he is a ch Bassey is not. Long term who knows, if he regularly turns In Performance like Denmark game and old firm games he will absolutely do for me.
