@Bar72 what's wrong with better service, btw read fellow posters opinions, by all means question thoughts, even wrong ones✋️ of which I'm guilty of, sad indictment when our best provider is on well over 100 goals, speaks volumes for our strikers n wingers, better service better strikers = more goals.

Spot on Fork.
We can moan about Dessers in front of goal but the quality and lack of service at times is terrible.
It’s why don’t get the ‘Shankland will score loads at Rangers’. Not with the limited service he won’t.

Costs a lot of money for this.

The evolution of the team from stevie to gio to Beale to clement has changed our style and tactics a lot but we still have in essence the same players.

Our best providers under stevie were bb and tav.
We now play with diff tactics but same players in team so of course we’re going to struggle with goals and assists until the manager gets his own players in to play his style.

If we were to get more service into the box, and we have a choice of either Shankland or Dessers to be on the end of that service, I know who I'd want. Unfortunately, Shankland isn't moving to us, so we're stuck with Dessers.

Fork. I have no trouble with service =goals. however there are regular contributors on here that assume ANY striker would score for fun with the quality service? We provide? We are poor in that department to be nice about it.

Shankland would walk to rangers and I think if we big £2m get it knocked back. Go back with £2.5 and a loan for 18 months, say Devine or even cifuentes for 6months.

Then we go in with the bus we know will take him.
£3m and we will get him for that and there’s no doubting he is definitely worth that fee. If he isn’t why do we wt him in first place.
We need to push the boat out here or we can forget about the title.
Silva is not a goal scorer. By his own admission he’s not a 9.
His best returns come from playing on the right of 3.

StevieG2, there's absolutely no way that hearts would sell lawrence shankland to us for £3million, no chance ?Hearts would be wanting anything between £4million-£5million for him, for any club wishing to buy him this month. In the summer if shankland hasn't signed a new deal with hearts, the fee would drop a bit ? That's why i honestly think shankland won't be sold by hearts this month as no club is going to pay them what they're asking for especially as he currently only has 18months left to run on his current contract ?.

He’s got 18month of his deal to go, shankland and his agent can say to hearts well if u value me at £5m why is my new contract offer not £20k or £30k a week?

SWS I agree with you, like everyone also I’ve headed the rumour we asked Shankland to push for the move.
Right now it seem we have lots of irons in the fire!

I think the lad from Kilmarnock would do a job, he's looked decent when I've seen him although not much, the only thing is, I think manhoeff in that position is a total upgrade and I'd prefer him.
