How can Tavernier and Goldson go to Saudi if Gerrard’s team cannot register more foreign players? I know that they are trying to changing the rules to accommodate more foreign players, but has that actually happened yet?

Also, someone else said Gerrard’s club didn’t have mega bucks like the other Saudi clubs. That £10m would be most of their summer budget. Is that the case?

@generic, they are currently only aloud 8, going to 10 in the summer, last season ettifaq only had a transfer budget of 13m so I would highly doubt they would blow all that on 2 players, I'm assuming wages would be involved in that budget.

@ Stus89. Al Etifaq might not have budget of others but they wetre paying Henderson a small fortune so pretty sure they can afford Goldson and Tav hopefully.
