Guys I had posted a few days ago asking if anyone had heard other reasons why Bisgrove left the club. Was their something else behind him leaving and asked if there was anything else going on behind the scenes at Ibrox.

All I heard was that the club was in a bit of a mess. And it would come out down the line.

I am not privy to internal affairs at the club and this was from someone on a text.
All I got was the club is in a mess. bisgrove didn't leave because of money and it will soon come out. Wouldn't get anything more.

I firmly believe it's to do with Ibrox. Bisgrove and other board members have possibly been given information regarding late materials and possibly other major issues with our ground that could have a significant impact on the club and I think Bisgrove has made moves to get himself out.

Now I'll ask again, have you coplandfront and John who say they get bits of information regarding signings and a few other new posters who have said they get some privy info.

So I'll ask again, is there anyone in the know on what's going on behind closed doors at Ibrox? Is there something more to worry about than what we're being told so far on stadium issues? Is it actually worse?

How long do we think it will be out of commission for and how much is the work now going to cost the club and can we actually afford to be purchasing decent players whilst being able to do the upgrades and fixes of the stadium? Is this work now going to impact on players fees and wages etc?

I think they're all valid questions because it seems this is now growing arms and legs if we're to believe what's getting rumoured?

He has been offered mega money in the middle east, he has also previously rejected several offers, this one was just too good to turn down. The person that was fired would have been fired by Bisgrove as he was was dealing with the building work. Far too many conspiracy theorist out there these days.

Utter bs …. he left to earn big bucks!

To be honest, nothing would surprise me any more. The silence from the club on the stadium delay is deafening, while STILL they launch new home and away tops, expecting money to pour in.
A statement of progress or intent, would calm a few nerves (not all! )

Stig that's the make up of rumours bud, they are floated and allowed to grow, "arms and legs" as you say, nature of the business we all follow?.

He didn’t reallly leave as such he got offended a job in Saudi and took it. He’d still be here probably if not for that.

A Few season ticket holders I know getting worried around travel
Extra travel costs especially if it becomes long term over at Murray field big distance from where they live.

Also, how much it’s going to impact the club's finances?

Too many conspiracy theories going about. Let's look at the bigger picture. Military tensions in the red sea have gave Cargo operators the fear. Instead of going via the Suez Canal, they're now taking the longer route via the Cape of good Hope at the south of Africa. This has also impacted costs per 40ft container, with prices almost increasing X4. Its just unfortunate that the Ibrox build is being affected.

Fans from the east coast might save a few quid for first time ever, supporter buses from the west coast will be an extra few quid like any away game, a think the fans from Glasgow who only go to home games could sook it up a bit for a few games, for the few who it is impossible to travel am sure rangers tv might become available for free or future home cup games might be offered as a freebie, follow follow troops, yes pain in arse but we are all in it together.

John did comment on this. Rangers were given 800k in compensation for Bisgrove. That is great money and will pay for his replacement.

As for everything else. Sounds like Tim nonsense pulled from Twitter.

Fans worried about extra travel costs? A few extra quid on busses or petrol, not the end of the world mate and my heart hardly bleeds considering every two weeks I'm a taxi to Falkirk high, return train tickets, underground, food and beer money etc, and plenty others are a lot more expensive and travel much further than I do.

Ibrox is subject to inspections yearly for insurance purposes, so what you've said is absolute nonsense.

Hope this helps!

I used to be involved with the facilities team in a health and safety capacity at Ibrox. The only issue that was ever brought up was around fire exits. Asbestos would have been highlighted years ago when it was big news at the time and there were no issues with anything structural related. These don't just happen all of a sudden.

i don’t get that at all bar my friend, all you know about is the hysteria in the records hotline column,
why do people expect the rangers board to make statements about internal business every two days, they’re making the stadium better, let them get on with it

isn’t worrying me in the slightest
why on earth wouldd the not carry on selling jerseys? that’s a new one, they’re still selling jerseys, wit? do you think marks n spencer stops selling trousers when the changing rooms being done up?

19.) 29 Jun 2024

more hysteria in here than there was in the cocktail bar of the titanic.

ger88 get where you are coming from but not all supporters in the same boat financially as you many on a tight budget and additional costs could affect some of them. I will be fine an extra hour on return journey, additional food costs now as won't be able to go to brother's house in Glasgow plus probably parking costs as well. But I will be okay like I said.

Thestig this h6steria is being made up mainly by the other mob but I genuinely feel our chairman who hasn't given an interview in almost 2 years since the infamous best in class, should be coming out and letting the fans know what's going on.

22.) 29 Jun 2024
29 Jun 2024 13:09:10
the fans wanted a stadium that
would rival the giro dome if its
not asbestios related why not shut
part of the gound like we done
back un the 70s people travelling
and out of pocket if you cant
afford give up your ticket cause we
have a waiting list.

Everyone needs to take a step back and remember where these rumours are starting plus they are growing arms and legs. They all seem to start with I heard. I agree it would be good to hear from the club but let’s be honest what ever the board say the same guys that are making up the original rumours will tell everyone that the club is telling lies and again it will start off with I heard. Test are done whenever you get work done in your home to remove artex so you can imagine how intensive the test would be before any work started on ibrox but as well as having qualified as accountants, financial lawyers over the years now the are all experts in the building trade.

I liked that Titanic analogy tom because their were two salads onboard and the lettuce shouted out to the other salad iceberg dead ahead.

29 Jun 2024 13:30:23
The stigno…there are a lot of season ticket holders from the east end of the country and the north who have to travel to ibrox week in and week out. It’s not ideal but it is what it is.

27.) 29 Jun 2024
29 Jun 2024 13:44:45
What has the problems with the stadium got to do with the launch of the new strips? As long as we actually intend to play somewhere next season we will need strips, the fans like to have the new strip, so the club make them available to buy . If you don`t want to buy them because you disagree with something that's going on, don`t buy them, nobody forces you to. Fans should remember that it was fans who called for the disabled section to be improved . The board are doing what was asked, there has been an issue with materials, it happens. There are enough negative media pundits wanting to criticise our club without our own fans believing all the crap they read and joining in.

No conspiracy just poor project management of a small and not very complicated project.

29.) 29 Jun 2024
29 Jun 2024 14:39:28
So Tom your not concerned you don't even know where we will play our home games or when we will be back at ibrox.

30.) 29 Jun 2024
29 jun 2024 15:06:56
not in the slightest, why?

because it’ll be solved and finished soon enough, it’s the life of a football club, sometimes you have to take decisions thatl upset the apple art for a few weeks then return to normal

why on earth would i concern myself about that? i have other things to be concerned with, rangers will sort it out and thatl be that, please don’t tell me your worried mate fgs,

31.) 29 Jun 2024
