Am ignoring the Advocaat/Cathro rumours.

Likely we will hear a lot more player and manager rumours like this in the run up to season ticket renewals.

As it is I am perfectly happy with Stuart McCall.

Hear hear naz. I'm happy with McCall also. He's great tactically and he has the boys playing for the jersey. I would look forward to him bringing in his own players and improving the defence and attack

Do we really need the expense of employing Advocatt. What role would he play. Better increasing the outlay on a better manager if Stuart not get the job. Remember he was successful because he had money to spend.

Advocatt would bring a wealth of knowledge tactically as well as possible signing targets. he's managed all over the world and is held in very high regard. I for one would really like to see him back. that's your'fear factor' right there. for me, him and cathro would be the dream team - saying that i'm happy with mccall. he seems to be on track, but I think cathro and advocatt could bring a bit of european style to what will no doubt be a carte blanche team next season. whether or not we gain promotion, it is at last, a happier time for us the fans.

It's my belief that Dick Advocatt is one of the people being lined up as Director of Football and Scouting ,with a head coach being introduced to run the team, candidate not decided yet!

He didn't waste the cash he bought who he wanted and we loved him for it, think of the style of play and the passion these guys had they still think of rangers as there club and theve played for teams all over the world, advocaat was a legend.
