Rangers to reportedly make an increased offer in a bid to sign 16 year old Matthew Knox from Livingston. Gers bid £75k earlier in the window but Livingston want as much as £150k for him.

This is a deal we need to push through. The lad has been invited to train with a lot of top English sides so he must have something about him. £150k I suppose is a lot of money for a 16 year old from Livingston who's only played a few games but if he reaches his potential he could make us millions.

I am told that a bid may be coming in tonight from an English championship club for Knox, possibly just over 200k with add ons. I would like us to get a bid in smartish and hijack this other bid if true.

Definitely it's not as if we are spending millions on his, just maybe smashing open the piggy bank.

Definitely come here and develop then punt in 6/ 7 years for millions or stay and become a legend. You never know.

£150k is not a risk at all, well worth it, boy could go for plenty, pretty sure the dark side wouldn't hesitate, and of they take him we will be slaughtered.
