RVP is on a quarter million a week. Rangers has no real pull or meaning to him (certainly not that would have him go down, to what £30k a week at a push) He will 100% absolutely not be the signing. It all sounds damn exiting though and I'm in agreement about the number 7 jersey! If it's meant to eclipse barton, kranjcar etc, it would have to be way better than the likes of lafferty! Who could it be bears!?

Who said it will be a striker. As much as I have said it won't happen Marriapa would be a sensational signing since he was playing in an FA cup final recently.

The Mariappa deal will not be happening. I have said this many many times. We have a mutual friend, of which I have seen text messages saying unless rangers offer him more money he will not be signing.

I hope its a great centre back as I think we have enough fire power to win us the league but defence still needs work.
that being said I wouldn't mind a real gem of a striker!
