Was talking to a contractor in work today, he was saying his son play about of football and is pally with a few of Rangers young lads.
His boy apparently said to him that when Gerrard got he job at Rangers, SG, GMc and MB sat and watched every minute of every Rangers game from last season!
Whether or not the boys was talking mince I'll never know but his point was a good one.
Does anyone else think this could be true? If so what a fantastic way to get some information regarding the squad!

If they sat and watched all that in such a short space of time there’s a fair chance all 3 of them would have tumours the size of melons in their brain! The old firm games alone made me lose my hair and turned my pubes grey!

Jboy I agree maybe only Docherty I’d have kept, still though that’s a lot of games to watch considering how up and down we we’re last year!

You could use footage of some games from last year to break a prisoner into a confessionðŸ‘. I do think that they would have watched games from last year, probably not all tho. All part of their assessment, hence why the majority were shown the doorðŸ‘.

Every minute of every played last season! lol no chance. every game from initial discussion and approaches yes, with selected highlights of prior game most probably.

Roughly 63 hours of football to watch. What a job just sitting watching footy all day, getting a laugh and through in a few drills in training and good verbal communication for a good few grand a week. Geez a job I can do that.

I’d think they maybe watch most of the games from when Murty took over (doubt they would learn anything about the players when Pedro was in charge) might have helped with the clearout of the duds and who they can help going forward! But you have to remember at we've signed atm 12 players and are basically a brand new team- so if they did watch back it was to see what they seriously needed to change.

i agree on holt think the boy was under rated he was the only player who understood pass and move. while rest passed and stood still. docherty is ok but prob does require more game time and wouldn't progress as player at rangers.
