Does anyone truly believe Dessers is good enough to fire us to a league title? The guy has been woeful of late. Does he even know the offside rule? Even the goals he scores he doesn't truly know if he's made his run at the correct time.

Very poor player for the money he cost. Every single game he spends more time pleading with the ref to give him a pen than he does actually getting on with the game. Wrap roofe in cotton wool and start him v celtic. Cause dessers is a man down.

How much is this guy makig every week to Impersonate a striker. I give credit when its due and when its not due then no credit given. last night he was a man short. the rest of the lads gave their all in such awful conditions . let's get this season over with 3 trophies in the bag. no reason why not and the fitter Roofe gets the more likely he will replace dessers as a starter if his body allows. sad to say.

He’s good enough against the lower teams but if Roofe has 1 70-90 mins in his rangers career left he’d be playing at ibrox against Celtic. Dessers was dreadful last night I can’t think of one positive contribution he made. The turn he tried in their box before the goal is criminal.

He works his socks off and is a better player than many give him credit for. He struggles when he has too much time, but has shown he knows where the net is and is one of our top scorers as we sit atop the table. Long term we need a better player, but with our injuries then who would you play?

Bizzmy don’t need to defend him, think we are all aware that he is only fit striker, question was is he the one to lead the line in the run in, hopefully not if we can get Sima fit in next few weeks then get either Silva or Roofe through the middle, he is not the answer and it’s plain to see, what happens if he were to miss golden opportunities in next old firm game or not get himself into the right areas, But as long as he works his socks off!

My star I agree we look better than them . But I wouldn't be totally shocked if we don't win league . Big Phil done amazing but he needs another transfer window to get squad he wants . This league will be tight which is more than we could of dreamed of at end of Nov.

I like Dessers attitude and determination but, I have to agree he shouldn't be at our club. We require a much higher quality striker if we are to move to the next level.

We need better but he is the constant scapegoat to some fans he helped win a league cup and he has helped us claw back a 7 point lead by them and pc obviously does as he keeps playing him.

I'll give the players lots of credit for the effort last night but the big tests have still to come. We have still to beat them in a meaningful game and now is the time for the manager and the very well paid senior players to give us this league nothing else will do. Agree about Dessers he gives me the fear and against Celtic we might only get 2/ 3 real chances would people bet him to put the ball away? . He was an empty jersey last night and although I wanted him to turn into a Rangers no 9 he never will. Also thought Diomande looked terrified last night which didn't help the cause. Big shout out for our captain I've not been his biggest fan over the years but by god he put everything he had into that game and shows how much it means to him, let's hope he gets this league title to give us all a fantastic summer.

I think Dessers has been good for us since PC arrived.

Given he has been a central part in us overturning a 7 point deficit to lead the league there is no reason to suggest we cannot win the league with him.

Silva and Lawrence had thier worst games for us last night. Wright, less said the better. With all those around the striker playing so poorly what do you expect. I thought he was OK last night and this is just another let's all hate on Dessers again.

Overall happy with our Euro exploits, once again the last team in Scotland left in Europe. Big game at Dens at the weekend which is more important than last night.

Here we go again it’s all down to Dessers, the service to him and Roofe was poor our midfield was way off it last night especially Diamonde he was very poor I can’t think of one clear cut chance we created the reason we’re out is terrible defending committing ten player into their box for a corner and as we did with all corners failing to win the first ball a breakaway three passes and it’s in our net but let’s blame Dessers.

Whether he is the answer, or not, the team have to stick together and as a unit can still win the league. We shouldn't be relying on just one main striker anyway, although there was one available in January. We can still win it with what we have.

BT, agree re diomande he made a couple of bad decisions early on and feel it really affected his game last night, but to be fair he has shown us what he's capable of just about consistency for the we man, not worried about him though.

I was very critical of big Dessers earlier in the season.
After the Jan window and a few good moments I said I’d give him to the end of the season and re evaluate.
Winning the title will be down to the whole squad collectively and it’s going to go down to the wire.
I do have my doubts big Dessers who seems a really nice guy will be the answer going forward into next season.
I hope he can prove me wrong in that.

Dessers is a poor cf compared to others we've had but roofe, he's done and if we need to rely on him that's a mistake and will cost us and the failure to sign a cf could be a 20+m mistake.

I don't think Dessers is the long term solution but he has been our main striker all season and we are top of the league so no reason why they would change between now and end of the season. Get behind all the boys.
