I will be greatly relieved to hear the EGM called on Friday so we can actually count down the days until this board are thrown out!

McDowall should not be in charge of the team right now as every point and the Scottish Cup are vital from now till the EGM and a new era dawns. There is no reason the board can't have an interim manager in charge to help fight to catch Hearts, only 7 points if we win games in hand and beat Hearts at home rescheduled game and we still have to play Hearts twice WE CAN CATCH THEM

Mcdowall is a downer and hinderance to our team morale I would say Durie in charge until EGM he could NEVER be worse the Teedle Dum and Teedle Dee

George, there are unconfirmed reports the egm will be rejected by the board tomorrow. can you or anyone confirm that this can actually happen and why it can and cannot be rejected.

Granted for 6th Match 2015. Why this date when it is over the 21 day period from the EGM being granted. SFA meeting is on the 2nd March 2015. what's going on here?

would not surprise me sick of there rubbish excuses if rejected most fans must understand its time for action against the lot of them they are not playing by the rules or being fair to fans or shareholders there in it for themselves not the fans or the team THEMSELVES

ED, what happens if the board does indeed reject the EGM?

{Ed039's Note - Nothing more than a meeting not going forward, King and the other guys start again. For it to be rejected though the board would need to show that they have over 51% of share approval or reject the EGM on the basis that they accept the resolutions put forward)

I have to be honest with you and say I do not know if they can turn down EGM if they can I think there has to be a reason as in they have to be able to say that there is a fault with Mr Kings proceedure I asking for the EGM, my reading is if the request is done in a correct and appropriate fashion they have to set a date for it withing 21 ays.

I hope to god they have to as that would be hard to bear after the last 3 weeks especially knowing that King's side have achieved the 51%+ required.

Refusal is their only way to survive but I am sure they cannot do that

George tbh it came from quite a lot of callers on Clyde tonight. however on the heart and hand podcast seemingly liebas has told Rangers first it will be March 6th. I really don't know what to believe. ill never sleep the night!! Rhats out!

There is nothing to be found anywhere confirming it either way.
That's why I've been erring on the side of caution,with what the club has been through.I always thought it seemed too easy and straightforward to shift this mob, hope I am wrong though.

George, there were some murmurings of this from fellow bears in my workplace and when checking the LSE forum there are one or two individuals who also seem confident of the EGM being rejected. Like you I am desperate for the EGM to happen and really hope the info is inaccurate.

Rangers will release an RNS tomorrow, this has to be done. It does not have to be at 7am, they could release it after trading closes. It is ready to be released, just a question of when.

To alrus blue. If the SFA decide Mr King is not a fit and proper person to be a director then the board can Decline cancel the EGM on the grounds of not properly constituted.

Then the waiting period begins again whilst Mr King would have to find a suitable proxy for himself and then call the EGM again.

It is a wait and see tatic that costs them nothing. If it is indeed outside of the time defined by the companies bylaws then KING could take legal action but why would he for a couple of days Unless by doing this if the current board lose the vote they could claim the meeting was invalid.

Ed39s I wrote in my previous quote that rangers would be paying for these loan signings you disagreed, I was proved right on that one, then when I say that sitonfence and the other collaborators for the board were calling Dave king a glib and a liar, you said it was a South African judge that quoted it, I totally agree with your statement, but it does not give sitonfence or the other anti king support any moral ground to agree to the judges statement, if anybody should be called glibs and liars it, s all these so called patrons of our football club on that board, there is certainly no saints on either side of these divisions, it really is a circus now, that board have got to go after yesterday's shenanigans, but give me king anyday, he canny be any worse than that shower of spivs
