Don't want to sound cynical here but let's not get carried away again. it was partick thistle we beat, they are rubbish. let's get a few wins under our belt and then we can assess how they are performing. Beat hearts and that will be a step in the right direction.

Some got carried away in the wrong direction after a 1-1 draw with Hamilton.

Outplayed Aberdeen who are a better team than Hearts.

There is no doubt how well the team is performing. It's the taking of chances as apposed to a poor defence that has cost us crucial points this season.

If the players up front, whether it's Garner, Waghorn, Miller or whoever else can convert there chances along with the way we play most weeks, we'll have a successful season.

There are a number of players in the forward areas we're excited about seeing. If the likes of Windass, Holt, McKay, Dodoo, Wagjorn, Kranjcar and Garner can hit full fitness and play consistently well, we should be coasting most games.

You say if they start taking their chances your manager has tried many variances of a front three mid three out your named players and none seem to work is he going to keep changing midfield and forwards constantly and with each passing week the fans will say let's get behind thevtesm and management it will come good but really will it?

Many variances of a front three and midfield three?

Having watched Rangers every game this season and all of last season, it's kind of obvious, (once everyone fit), who'll play in two of the front three positions and MW has been fairly consultant in that regard.

Waghorn and McKay are certain starters in a MW team. McKay on the left and Waghorn on the right and I doubt he'll change it to put Waghorn down the middle. Miller and Garner will likely fight it out for the main CF position.

As for the midfield, Holt and Halliday played about every game, (when able) last season and will likely play a lot this season. Windass likely along side them with Kranjcar, Rossiter, Crooks and Forrester competing for places.

Even the defence Wallace, Tavernier, Wilson will likely play a lot this season as they did last, with Senderos, Hill and Keirnan competing for a place.

Rossiter, when fit, must play, Windass needs a run of games, Kranjcar
is with out a doubt our most creative midfielder if he was not as slow as me he'd be first on the team sheet.

Bluepete, i'd imagine kranjcar will play most of his games against the teams that are normally bottom 6 teams, as those teams will sit in trying to catch us on the brake. if kranjcar gets up to a higher form of fitness he will play more often.

I don't think barton will get a game for us again!

I love halliday and holt together
and I would have rossiter on with them.
that being said windass looks like he could be one of the best but couldn't take rossiter place as cdm.
so who will be dropped if anyone to play windass halliday? holt?
this is why i'd go for 4 or 5 in the middle while still being very attacking minded and defend high and as a unit!
but hey I just want my best players on the pitch at the same time . I know this won't happen.

Why does MW persist with Miller and Mckay?

On terms of getting carried away - it's never sensible to judge on one or two games, either way.

Been a sticky start to the season but plenty time left. Celtic are a much stronger side so this season is about adapting to higher level, improving as a team and making sure we can offer a proper challenge next season.

Personally I don't believe kings claims that there will be investment in the team in January, so we need to make the absolute best of what we have.

Paulsrfc getting carried away works both ways.

James stirling, our defence is not quick enough for us to play 5 in midfield,5 in midfield is only used to cram up the midfield to prevent fast flowing opposition from playing there there usual fast free flowing football. stifling the midfield is not the answer in my opinion.

Deeb, because McKay has created most of our goals, and an aging Miller is still the best we have upfront.
