Who is the NI star we are after? According to the DR.
Cant see a name.

1.) 28 Jun 2016 15:20:59
Lee Hodson apparently.

18 May 2016 15:54:06
Been told by a non football fan involved marketing business that Underarmour are waiting in the wings and likely to be offering some advice re contracts.
Any one heard similar?

1.) 18 May 2016 17:43:38
no, but if true, would be amazing.

2.) 18 May 2016 18:36:50
does terminating the contracts mean that the puma deal is also terminated? therefore those new kits will not be next seasons?

3.) 18 May 2016 18:58:56
Underarmour would be perfect. Good quality sportswear and a quality Sports Goods Company. Could be some truth in this. They are the suppliers of Spurs' kits and we appear to be developing a really strong relationship with the North London Clubs.

4.) 18 May 2016 20:32:42
The Puma deal will carry on as we are not in dispute with them. If and when the Puma deal finishes Rangers will have a few people at the door offering us a great deal, of that l am sure.

5.) 18 May 2016 20:38:23
I believe any sports direct deal has nothing to do with Puma so will carry on as normal, but been told we only have a year left to run with them and Red 32
Anyone else clarify this?

6.) 19 May 2016 00:21:37
Deeb i was just reading about our club refusing to wear the new strip on cup duty at the weekend, king must know if ashley tries to alter things now he is admiting his involvment in dual ownership, and that's not allowed, mr king has obviously waited until the right time to pull this stunt, let's wait and see ashleys next move in this game of chess.

7.) 19 May 2016 10:40:34
The SD Puma deal can still be linked as it was the same people inside Rangers that signed both. Termination was going to happen even before Newcastle got relegated but I agree it has probably moved things along faster. It depends on what grounds Rangers wish to follow when/ if terminating the deal. It's likely that some kind of pay off agreement would be reached to avoid court action and as Puma are bound to be disappointed by how little money the deal with Rangers has made them, they would be unlikely to be difficult to work with.

06 Apr 2016 12:26:36
I have a mate down south who reckons he has seen a photo of Harry Forrester as a kid in a Rangers top, anyone confirm this?

1.) 06 Apr 2016 13:14:56
Harry can.

2.) 06 Apr 2016 13:39:27
Yes, Harry posted a pic of him in the 95/ 96 home kit on Social Media when he first signed.

02 Mar 2015 16:48:17
Just been told by an ex-Ranger (he never gives anything away usually) that I will never guess the name of next manager.
I went through the names being flung about and some weird ones ( Lennon, MON0 and he said not even close.

1.) 02 Mar 2015 17:37:17
So what your saying DEEB is that you have a rumour about the next manager, but you just don't know who that person is? But the name is out there!

2.) 02 Mar 2015 17:40:31
So your rumour is that you don't know who the next manager is?

3.) 02 Mar 2015 18:22:29
Stewart McColl has just said on TV he is happy with his position with the national team, but has not ruled out a return to our club, the bookies have him as favourite, and it's not often they are wrong.

{Ed001's Note - if that was true then they wouldn't give odds on anyone else! They are usually wrong. They want you to spend your money betting on the favourite that doesn't come in.}

4.) 02 Mar 2015 18:41:42
McCall third favourite on site I just checked magath short fav did you mention him DEEB

5.) 02 Mar 2015 18:43:12
Cracking rumour DEEB you seem well in the know

6.) 02 Mar 2015 19:22:44
Ed, on the manager question who do you honestly think will be the next glasgow rangers manager and do you think the new manager will be appointed before the end of the season?

{Ed001's Note - I have no idea who it will be, I just wouldn't trust the bookies. It wasn't so long ago they had Ribery odds on to join Liverpool, and David Moyes odds on to take over at Spurs etc.}

7.) 02 Mar 2015 19:32:59
What do you all think of Ray wilkins, good pro carries great respect, wealth of experience, loved his time at rangers, I would sound him out,

8.) 02 Mar 2015 20:09:29
Heard fae a good source it mite it will b d mcinnes any thaughts fellow bears

9.) 02 Mar 2015 20:47:52
Can't see McInnes leaving where he is at the moment.
He has 2 years on his contract to run for a start.
He's built a good side capable of winning honours and has the prospect of European football next season.
His club are/will be debt free with (possibly) a new stadium in the pipeline.
He said himself he's only just beginning with Aberdeen.
I think he'll head for England when he wants to move on.

10.) 02 Mar 2015 21:11:45
Ed the bookies have got to give you odds on others. Ie bookies. For people that like to take a gamble, I've never heard of a poor bookie

11.) 02 Mar 2015 21:58:35
Ed ime in agreement with the not all favourites win, cause if they did there would be no such a thing as a bookmakers, because they would only be giving there money away, and it's only places like our club that happens eh, oh wait a minuet, maybe sommers and leach and llambias had opened a bookies, only giving money away to friends, and associates, lol lol.

12.) 03 Mar 2015 08:06:32
I would take Walter smith in a heartbeat

13.) 03 Mar 2015 12:50:37
Is it Rumplstiltskin? Not many would have guessed his name.

14.) 03 Mar 2015 14:15:20
I think its a foreigner, maybe German, maybe Dutch,

15.) 04 Mar 2015 12:30:59
nice guy ray wilkins is he has not been a sucess at any of the coaching posts he has had and suffers a bit from vino collapso

{Ed001's Note - he has done alright with the Jordanian team, they performed above expectations in the Asian Nations. Despite the way the Asian Federation treated them.}

Can Senderos be worse than Tiernan?
Not solely based on last night.

1.) 29 Dec 2016 17:28:36
No. kiernan u mean lol.

2.) 30 Dec 2016 10:28:04
The sad answer is Yes. It is not just our centre backs that are the problem. When you have players of the standard of Holt and Halliday in front of them even John Terry would struggle!

3.) 30 Dec 2016 11:03:14
Kiernan isn't as bad as you all make out. Give the lad a chance and he might surprise you.

4.) 30 Dec 2016 15:40:36
Problem is, GFraser, that with the midfield that we have at present he won't get the chance. He will be left unsupported week in week out. That will continue until we are in a position to replace Halliday and Holt!

21 Sep 2016 14:43:51
Could making Halliday the captain last night have been a way of sending a message to Barton?

1.) 21 Sep 2016 16:48:00
I said that earlier and everyone disagreed.

2.) 21 Sep 2016 19:36:29
Yes, and its beyond pathetic.

When two employees argue a manager is supposed to intervene in a fair, impartial and balanced manner.

Not give one the captaincy (even though it's just for a game) and force the other out the club.

A very clear message has been sent to Barton- you aren't wanted or needed.

Another message was Warburton making a point of not saying that after the suspension Barton would be back and we would move on.

3.) 22 Sep 2016 12:57:58
Said before and will again. The Barton incident poorly handled by a manager who talks like the coaching manual and has found a distraction from his own inadequacies.
Club placed the matter in the public domain, thus opening the way for Barton to speak publicly.
Given that none of us actually knows what happened I doubt there is any legitimate reason for contract termination and the contract would have to be honoured in full if they want Barton out, circa £1.5 million. Money we simply don't have!
Walter, Souness or Mcleish would have handled it better because they are football people and man managers
Too many rushing to judgement on the basis of paper talk and the views of journalists like English, all of whom hate the Bears.
Barton should have been fined, be training with the youngsters and playing again in three weeks.
Do we need another drawn out legal case with massive lawyers fees over a bust up which happens in football on a regular basis? Grow up!

4.) 22 Sep 2016 16:22:08
honest ger halliday has been one of the hardest working players and was captain before when Wallace wasn't available so that not warbs being impartial and from what I gathered it started with barton being a d*ck halliday calling him on it warbs impartially coming to see what the problem was and barton starting on the manager. so

what is your problem with warbs.

I love the guy but have two problems with him

1) didn't shore up the defence the way everyone knew he had to
2) doesn't change the formation
other than that he is a great manager.

03 Sep 2016 00:22:30
What will these youngsters do when their contracts are up (the good ones I mean)?
Will they trip off to England and all we get is a development fee?
I do not see the SPL being a sufficient enough attraction.
Can we tie them up on a longer deal when they are 18?

27 Aug 2016 18:36:02
Was told last night from a non Rangers source that Lescott didn't come because he wanted a Monday off and was refused. Apparently someone else has this and he didn't think this was on.

1.) 27 Aug 2016 19:23:52
I think Barton has a clause where he doesn't have to perform on match days, sometimes looks that way anyway.

2.) 27 Aug 2016 22:42:16
Aye but he's the best tweeter in the starting line up.

3.) 27 Aug 2016 23:12:27
Cuillin72 could be onto someting there mate, though there are a good few more that must have the same loop in there contracts, as we have seen to date. lol.

18 Aug 2016 23:19:52
A few weeks ago we had someone up for a medical who did not get through it. Anyone know who it was?

1.) 19 Aug 2016 09:07:13
John Hartson.

2.) 19 Aug 2016 09:33:04
essien lol.

3.) 19 Aug 2016 09:37:16
Paul Gascoigne.

4.) 19 Aug 2016 12:37:00
was it lescott?

5.) 19 Aug 2016 13:38:47
Deeb it was big davie weir (wishful thinking ) lol.

Many, perhaps all, insurance companies will pay a chunk of asbestos removal as it is the cheaper of all of the options eg allowing it to downgrade to a dangerous state or the cost allowing so white van chancer to say they can do it, so I think the cost is manageable unless we has stinted on the insurance premiums!

Camoo, I take your point about only being able to attend home games, but it is not usual to have large travelling support except in smaller countries.
I lived in Spain for a while and not many Real fans who live in Madrid travel eg to Malaga or even Barcelona and the French games I have been to seemed to have no travelling support.

In fact how many away fans come to Ibrox - I know you were talking about a european competition and I have strayed off the point.
I think in these days of TV money being king it wouldn’t matter and maybe an Ibrox full of Blue noses would be better than a large chunk of the ground ‘fenced off’ and empty would make for better television.

I wasnt comparing Barton and Ferguson only comparing the way they behaved in public.

Barry Ferguson seemed to be forgiven for embarrassing us on the international stage and also arguing with the manager to the detriment of the club.

I thought King's money not in SA, that was why they didn't like him.

King was called a liar by a corrupt judge in a corrupt system
If the club legend you refer to is DW, not all of us hold him in that regard. I thought he was an average player for a short time and his employers took advantage when we were in the s***
Some I admit, do hold him in high esteem

Hope you are right about the document (or statement in front of witnesses). I spent many years in employment law and most cases lost because most senior execs did not know the law and fired when they felt like it. We should have someone in place somewhere who does know the law surely.

What are the main job differences between a director of foot ball, manager and chief executive?
I mean actually rather than stated.
Would FDB work under a director of football eg Big Eck?

Someone has been silly;
Warburton if he handed in e before having the NF job offer

RFC if they have no formal notice that he was leaving

Hope its not us.

BTW its not the first time Weir has dishonoured us, he managed the Naismith situation from behind the curtains when the crap first started

Some managers are good at working with journeymen and get them playing to their full potential eg Neil Warnock and Tony Pulis. MW is not one of those and that is what is needed until we have more funds for players.
I believe in King but I think the non-paying costs and the extent of the dodgy deals have caught him on the hop.
If we went for McInnes it would cost us, he has no track record at the highest level, so wold we be better off?
It might screw up the sheep for this season but its not what wee need for the future.
