I don't have one bad word to say about that game, well all round performance and O'Halloran once again proving his worth, second spot is ours now, onwards and upwards, i'm so glad O'Halloran has been finally given his chance, he's like a new signing and every time he got the ball i got excited, same goes for windass! Two really good players.

Delighted with today's performance, much better, good to see o, halloran get another chance and he certainly took his chance, happy bear.
On to the results from our accounts,100g Rangers got from sports direct for our merchandise is a bloody disgrace, until we can get rid of Ashley we will continue to lose money and that will keep holding the club back, we must get rid of him asap but his bloody deal is watertight or he would have been gone ages ago.

Exactly delboy, if we had merchandise we would be sitting pretty right now, the fans have been fantastic, we would definitely have got right behind the team and snapped up so much kit, the fat man has to go.

So refreshing to see a player attack the byeline like O'halloran did today- And the midfield of Holt Halliday and Windass can be industrious, and fruitful -Windass is showing to the fans how much of an addition he can be to our club - happy football that's, what it is - 3 goals, 3 points and a clean sheet - today was a vast improvement. -.

dont want to sound like a smart a. s (well maybe i do) but have said for yonks that mckay is a luxury and other than couple of cracking goals has been a passenger who does not want to know 50/ 50's, ie craps it, also have said without doubt windass is far and away our most direct player, wonderful to see someone who wants to go forward constantly, and moh so much more to offer than mckay.

Rangeken. Miller played mackay's position today not o'halleran or windass. What's your point caller? Btw, agree both were excellent today, as was Miller, but blaming it all on a guy that doesn't normally play in either of their positions (who did more in 20mins on wednesday than windass did in 70 unless you're blinkered) makes no sense to me whatsoever. I just don't get the constant abuse the lad gets, the boy's a talent.

There was actually a lad on here a couple of weeks ago that wanted to sell MOH back to st Johnstone in January. Hahaha

That's been my only criticism of MW, not giving these lads a chance. But now he has. Thankfully he's seen sense and benched McKay and Waghorn. Now all he needs to do is give Dodoo a run of games and bench Miller and I'll be happy.

Spart7,who was talking about who played in what position, irrelevant to saying he is not as big an asset as others, and please watch every 50/ 50 tackle he is involved in. Call it abuse if you like but to me it is a response to those who believe he is some kind of star.

i said at the start of season Barry at to prove himself in the top league. And got shot down for being negative the boy is a first division player till he proves otherwise .

he's been playing ok, but like the rest of our team he's not standing out. it's unfair just to pick him out especially when he's so young. he's in a team full of players playing absolutely gash.

Aye blame Barrie McKay for the start to the season as well as 9/ 11, JFK, Brexit and the frigging recession. The lad is still young with a lot to learn and finding his feet at a higher level. The constant vilification of him by some on here is frankly shocking. Technically he is one of the most gifted players at the club. Aye he needs to stick in and with a bit of encouragement he will get there, of that I have no doubt. The last thing we should be doing is hounding a brilliant young player out of the club because I fear that if we continue to do so that's exactly what will happen. Rant over. And one more thing - well done today to MOH. I am a fan and would love to see him AND Barrie McKay play regularly in this team.

Barry Mackay came on on Wednesday into a team that was playing pretty poorly and added instantly a bit of composure and no end of class. Give the boys a break lads and a bit of encouragement please.

I totally agree with you seeker. barrie mckay is a tremendous young player, who without doubt, still has a bit to learn and will do! He does seem to get the brunt of the criticism on here, when the whole team play poorly. I would truly love to see a front 3 of moh (right), garner (centre) and mckay (left) . Think of the pace we'd have on the flanks with moh and mckay who'd be supplying garner. Hand on heart, i honestly think moh and mckay are capable of tearing teams apart!

Fair point re 50/ 50 tackles rangeken but tbf my 11yo is bigger than him and that's not what he's on the pitch for. Who has made the most assists in the team this year? Who played two killer balls in five minutes the other night that noone else in the team could've pulled off in terms of initial vision and then execution? He also has the best first touch in the squad and great close control, two things o'halloran could improve on considerably for example and that's not me having a pop at him btw. I coach kids football and I would have mckay in my team all day long before I'd have the clugger he ducked out of the header with the other night. My point was mainly that it wasn't that we played better because he wasn't in the team, as you're implying, we played better because o'halloran, garner and windass (in different positions to mackay's) were and played to form. Mackay is one of our best players, he'd compliment the others mentioned above even further imo.

A few points that I took from the game:
MoH - What a threat. Give him a few metres and he left them for dead every time. Looked more controlled on the ball and it's a shame he couldn't score!
Windass - really like this kid. Actually takes a shot given half a chance which a few players seemed to do today.
Defense - Not got a single mention so far! But both Kiernan and Hill were like a brick wall and Tavs looked like a man with a point to prove after being dropped last week.
Garner - Great he got that goal after the lads on Rangers TV were saying he wasn't a poacher. What a nuisance he makes of himself!
Miller - he was everywhere! Love watching this man play. Had no idea what position he was supposed to be in most of the time.

My last point is about Mckay - Boys got talent to burn. But is he a winger? Do we see him being used in a more creative midfield role when he bulks up a bit?

When I say McKay needs benched, I'm not blaming him for our poor performances or poor start to season or questioning his ability. Stop exaggerating. He's been poor and slow average so he needs benched until he gets better. Simple. It's not fair to keep him in the team when he's not performing, especially when there are other players that deserve a chance. It's not just McKay. Waghorn was another not performing. Yesterday was proof of that.

I agree mate I do like mckay hoping it's just a rough patch for him! He's not a young player anymore tho he's what 22? Should be playing to a higher level but like I said hopefully a wee rest will do him good and he can get back to last seasons form.
