I think this is going to be a really tight season this year. When was the last time we were coming up for xmas and 8th place was only 8 points behind the leaders (Us chuffed faced) . a lot of teams are going to be taking points off each other at the top and it will chop and change a lot quicker than other seasons. Its actually a really good season so far for the league we just need to stick to our game as its fully in our hands now.

It's not fully in our hands bud they have a game in hand which of they win takes them 2 points above us assuming we win all games upto that game of theirs getting played and if they win that but your definitely right chances of teams taking points of each other seems really high this season.

There's a very real chance Celtic will splash the cash in January. Hopefully Rodgers gets a big say in the signings so it's nothing to worry about.

MikeGer you talking about the likes of dembele, Eduard. ntcham Sinclair, I'm sure they 4 guys have scored about 40% of Celtics last 31 goals against rangers since Rodgers took over. do you homework before posting.

It’s in our hands dlc as if we win all our games we win the league, including 3 against Celtic. It’s also in everyone’s hands in the top 8 at least.

DLC. I was always told it is better to have the points in the bag than games in hand. The Old Firm game at Ibrox at the end of this month is now huge but we must win the three games before that against Hibs (twice) and St Johnstone. After the winter break we are away to Kilmarnock and Livingston in successive games so that will be as much at test of Gerrard's team as the games against Celtic, Hibs, et al. Perhaps by early February we'll really see if SG's team is capable of going all the way.

With January approaching some guys in my work were saying Brenda and Celtic will splash the cash and strengthen. So I put a list together of his signings from Celtic and Liverpool. With the exception of Demebele, Edoiard and Ntcham who I think have been successful for them his signings have been Sinclair, Kolo Toure, Gamboa, Doris Di Vries, Kouassi, Hayes, Benyu, Comper, Musonda, Hendry. obviously I’ve missed a few!
Admittedly I had to Google Rodgers signings but I had to laugh at folk saying he’s good with signings!

Not to mention the duds he signed at Liverpool.

Fabio Borini, Roma, £10,400,000
Joe Allen, Swansea City, £15,000,000
Oussama Assaidi, Heerenveen, £3,000,000
Nuri Sahin, Real Madrid, On Loan
Samed Yesil, Bayer Leverkusen, £1,000,000
Daniel Sturridge, Chelsea, £12,000,000
Philippe Coutinho, Inter Milan, £8,500,000
Luis Alberto, Sevilla, £6,800,000
Iago Aspas, Celta Vigo, £7,000,000
Simon Mignolet, Sunderland, £9,000,000
Kolo Touré, Free Transfer, Free
Aly Cissokho, Valencia, On Loan
Mamadou Sakho, Paris St Germain, £15,000,000
Tiago Ilori, Sporting Lisbon, £3,500,000
Victor Moses, Chelsea, On Loan
Rickie Lambert, Southampton, £4,500,000
Adam Lallana, Southampton, £25,000,000
Emre Can, Bayer Leverkusen, £9,750,000
Kevin Stewart, Free Transfer
Lazar Markovic, Benfica, £19,800,000
Dejan Lovren, Southampton, £20,000,000
Divock Origi, Lille, £9,800,000
Javier Manquillo, Atletico Madrid, On Loan
Alberto Moreno, Sevilla, £12,000,000
Mario Balotelli, AC Milan, £16,000,000
Joe Gomez, Charlton Athletic, £6,000,000
Adam Bogdan, Free Transfer
Danny Ings, Free Transfer, £8,000,000
James Milner, Free Transfer
Nathaniel Clyne, Southampton, £12,500,000
Roberto Firmino, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, £29,000,000
Christian Benteke, Aston Villa, £32,500,000
Allan Rodrigues de Souza, Internacional, £500,000

Of that list I’d say only a handful have been a success. the rest I have no I idea where they ended up!
In conclusion If I was a Celtic fan I would be concerned about this! I wouldn’t trust Brendan Rogers with a bean!
