Sounds to me like he’ll be out for months rather than weeks.

We shouldn't jump to conclusions. From what I am told by a top orthopaedic surgeon, from Glasgow, (albeit now retired) that this is most likely an abductor tendon tear and we won't know the time that he will be out until the Medical team fully assess the extent of the injury. Worst case scenario would be 12 - 16 weeks, but it could be as little as 4 weeks.

The problem here is will he be out 2 long, he's done well, so are we going to pursue him or are Brighton going to want him back and could he break in to their team.
