Heard Rangers have approached Bayern to extend Tillman loan deal for another year.
Deal includes a small fee, wage increase for the player and the same £5m deal next season.
Win win for both clubs. Bayern get a more mature player back, and Rangers get another season to see how he develops with another season under his belt.

We simply do not have the 5mill for Tillman, the 2 possibilities i said are likely, he either goes back to bayern seasons end or we extend the loan, even if we had 5 mill to spend, Beale could pick up another 2-3 players like the cantwell and raskin deals, why buy 1 when ypu get 2 or 3 with the same money, its a no brainer. Taking nothing away from tillman the lads got raw talent for sure, but i highly doubt he will sign a contract for us.

Doubt tillman would fetch more than 5 mill when he's currently valued at 4 mill, if tuchel gets the chop, tillmans back to bayern to be assesed by the new manager, i would like to see tillman play the CF role he most dangerous around the box, dissapears deeper in the midfield.
Other clubs may have made an offer for him, something to consider also. I don't think he will be at rangers next year.

This time last season under GVB the club had a Eufa semi final- final, and Scottish Cup final to look forward to.
End of April and the season over trophyless, very disappointing.
Also worrying considering the amount of money lost in gate receipts and prize money.
Thoughts on how this will effect the rebuild give not sure which Eufa competition they will be playing come start of season.

Europa league final was a massive outlier and despite deserving to be there and performing very well it’s not something we can expect to happen again. That won’t have been budgeted for so instead of thinking like we lost money this season by being awful in europe and domestically think of it as we gained money last season. Qualifying for the champions league and also having a couple of big sales I’m sure our finances will look good for this season. Losing the domestic trophies means very little financially other than the automatic qualification for the champions league.

Franchise money both finals.
Adds up to a few quid that we won't get this season compared to last season.

Jfm not quite. We played two sell out qualifiers to get to CL. Then charged fans much more to get in group stages.
We got millions more for gettto group stage of CL than we got for group stage EL. So apart from prize money it actybalances out.

Much as it pains me to say it, if we'd have beaten Celtic at the weekend there might have been people within Ibrox that thought we weren't so far behind them after all. As such, it might prove a blessing as everyone now realises (if they didn't before) the extent of the gap to be bridged. At least now there can't be any papering over the cracks team wise.

That's one of the positives I take SB.
If we had a better end of season we could have seen MB pushing to keep the perennial losers like Kent and Morelos.
No matter the outcome next year it will be better to watch a different set of players than those that have continually let us down.
I am hopeful that it all clicks together and we put a real challenge next season with hungry players that want to succeed at our great club.
