Ok time for a bit of positivity. We were miles ahead of them when we won the league, and look at how good they came back the next year. Some shrewd signings and we can close what isn’t a massive gap. They won’t spend a massive amount of money and they’d need to do better the standard of their players. Keep the faith.

People thinking they’re going to improve next season aren’t correct imo. Yes they have the money but when O’Reilly goes they are never going to sign someone as good as him so automatically they’re weaker in midfield. Can improve their defence a bit but other than that I can’t see it. We can’t get much worse going off the last 10 games.

It's not what you spend but the way that you spend it and that's what gets results. Brendan is limited with who he can attract to SPL with that wee black book of his.

Problem is they will spend £25 million on 3/ 4 players we’d need to get in 8/ 10 for or £25million.

It looks to me as if a great deal of effort is going in to shifting players out and identifying new players that fit the player trading model to bring in. I don't mind waiting until this time next year to see where we are then. Clement is a relatively thick-skinned critter and I'm all for giving him enough time to get it right, or moving in a good healthy direction at least, either that or enough rope to hang himself. It will be one or the other, but I am optimistic and really hope he does it.
