Rangers shouldn’t ask for any transfer fee. If they want him, let Scott Wright speak to them, and let us hope that he leaves. Last summer Beale set up a move to Turkey for him and he refused it.
Scott Wright is clearly not good enough but Rangers can’t force him to leave. Clement seems to like him, he played him a lot, that might encourage Scott Wright to stay.

Celtic are financially healthy. They don’t need to sell anyone this summer. O'Riley is one of their major assets, so they can demand funny money for him, and someone will probably give them it too. O'Riley was nothing special initially either but Celtic have stuck with him and developed him in to a very good player. At Rangers he would have been written off, harassed, and loaned out within the first 12 months.
Rangers are still very much in need of cash both on and off the pitch. If a bid of £10m came in for Butland I think the club would take that in a heartbeat. Especially with this new financial uncertainty surrounding Ibrox stadium.
Rangers still have some way to go here. We actually caught up with them when we won 55. I can't believe how far back the club has fallen since Gerrard left.

£18m is absolutely nothing to an English club. They will pay that no problem if they think he is worth it. They will pay £25m at the drop of a hat if they think he is worth it.
Celtic held out for £25m cash upfront for Tierney from Arsenal. Why? Because they can afford to turn money like that down, hold out, take risks. Rangers cannot.
Celtic is healthy financial position gives them a strong position to demand more only because they do not need to sell. They are operating at a profit regardless. Rangers aren’t. Rangers need to sell player and/ or be involving in Europe regularly just to sustain.

For me teiry is better than Matt it’s just he’s injury prone tbh a don’t like him but kt was a great player for them and had some amount a heart. Injury free he would a left Arsenal for the likes a Madrid as they did watch him before.

Seeing reports Cordoba deal broke down due to Levski Sofia preferring a more cash up front payment plan than the add on package we had originally in place and Norwich could meet. Cordoba rumoured to have agreed on 7k a week deal at Carrow Rd.

I have zero knowledge of this but I do not feel this is the case. The timing is just too convenient. WE agree an obligation to buy for Cortes leading some to think we have no cash just now and then the reason we don't sign Cordoba is needing to delay payments.

Sounds plausible when you consider diomande fee kicked down road to this window and lack of other signings January when it was clear to most here more were needed
You add to that we’ve just done same with Cortes I fear there is not much money there
Makes you wonder about all people that keep claiming people running club doing a Sterling job when players keep walking away for free and we are missing out on players to Norwich
But hey ibrox restaurant got face lift

I came across an article last week which brought back a name I hadn't heard for awhile Ola Solbakken. That boy who played as an attacking midfielder for Bodo Glimt when they came up against Celtic a few years back and ran out 5-1 winners over rhe 2 legs. He was a standout. In the next round he also stood out against Roma and Jose Mourinho eventually took him there in Jan 2023 on a bosman. Apparently it's went pete tong for him out there and he gets pinged about on loans . Maybe if Cantwell leaves . we should consider a loan to buy on him still only 25 and wants his place back in Norway team supplying Erling Haaland. Could work well for all parties and he does have credit in the bank against Celtic.

Stats of Thierno Ballo who has a year to run on a contract at Wolfsberger looking very tasty after a breakthrough season at that level. Ex Chelsea Academy . Looks like a decent punt to me .

If there was a guy who scored 14 goals and laid on 5 assists in his last 19 games in season 2023/ 24 in SPL. If he kicked on next season on that trajectory it could look like 28 goals and 10 assists and we could get him for 500k to replace the departing Roofe . Myziane Maolida Also has some very good stats for a poor Hibs team. I’d be lying if I said I know much about his over all play but 10 goals in 17 matches isn’t a bad return for a winger.

Good shout Prso, can't say i seen much of him either but Hibs top scorer from a 6 month loan and decent pedigree playing all the way through to U21s for France.
Value has dropped significantly in recent years from £8m to £700k (transfer markt) so wouldn't break the bank and now knows the league and has performed in it.
