a struggle once again, Templeton injured once again, Zaliukas injured once again, but we got there.
This time last season we would have had 45,000 +

The missing fans are slowly bleeding us to death, if they love the club so much, why are they doing this to us?

To true in days gon by we would've went & supported the team and still let the board know how we feel boycotts are doing more harm than good

2.) 30 Aug 2014
You can't blame the fans for the current financial shambles at the club. Blame the current and previous board who have bled the club dry. The fans have a right to choose to attend or not

Not everyone is happy to pay to watch this dross - overpaid players struggle against supposedly weaker opposition week in week out whilst the club are hemorrhaging money which the board cant/wont explain; seems simple to me why people don't want to turn up anymore

4.) 30 Aug 2014
Absolutely agree. why have we been paying ridiculous amount of money out in wages, signing players when we will be lucky to see the end of September.
To be in this position once was bad enough but twice is unforgivable!

5.) 30 Aug 2014
What a disgusting post wee bill, shocking shocking post you should be ashamed of yourself,

Any fan how bought a season ticket bleed our ckib dry, can believe what I just read from you!

6.) 30 Aug 2014
2) 3) 4) and 5) its just an opinion. The board are a load of chancers, but soon there will be nothing left to support. We might end up in the Lowland league along with Gretna 2008 who knows, but at least if we had last years numbers of ST sales, there would have beem more cash up front. If we are a bad as it seems, then we need to be offloading virtually all the seasoned pro's along with the grossly overpaid coaching team and start all over again. If king or Ashley or whoever with money want to make a name for themselves, they are running out of time to do it.
Finally 5) I have nothing to be ashamed of. I have supported the club for 60+ years and I am saddened by where we have landed,

7.) 30 Aug 2014
It's not the fans that control the finances at Rangers it's the finance people who project and plan for the years ahead not just a season The suits sitting in there seats of power should be holding their heads in shame yet they'll be able to pick up even more cheap shares then sell them on doing a Runner after it STOP BLAMING THE FANS F. FS. and the team was prototype poor the first half and people are getting sick of watching dross!

8.) 30 Aug 2014
Wee Bill, how can you possibly blame the fans for staying away, we have been well and truly shafted at every turn, we have turned out in our thousands and watched hard earned money go from our hands straight to the pockets of directors, accountants, consultants on a huge scale. Our support is fragmented simply because we have no one looking after our club, it is bad decision after bad decision. The one group of innocents in all of this is the fans. The truth is if we don't stand up now we might lose our club completely.

9.) 31 Aug 2014
We bill the fans have aright to make up there own mind whether or not to attend I have not renewed my ticket not becase o u o f but because I can't go through another season looking round about me looking at watch anything other than watch the game and I am quite sure there is a whole lot more the same as far as the boycot goes the leaders have been brainwashed by king and want glory and se there names in the paper kings tactics are worse despicable worse than green and co all he is doing is putting our great club in grave danger of going into oblivion if he wants control put his money where his mouth has been for the last year but as I said many times before he is as bad as the rest of the money grabbers

10.) 31 Aug 2014
Could it be that fans are not just boycotting but were toally pissed off with the quality of football played last year and could not stomache another year of lack of vision and quality?
I still maintain if we had brought in the youth players in at the start fans would have encouraged them and also felt is if they belonged to the rise again of Rangers.
Signing players in their twilight imop was / is not the way forward.

11.) 31 Aug 2014
That's me been told then! I'm not blaming the fans for where we are, but we need to get out and SUPPORT the cause. We don't have another home game till Sept 16 and we are told we only have enough to survive 2 more weeks. We are now in last chance saloon waiting for Dave King to kick the swing doors open. It ain't going to happen guys without our help too. That is my point i'm trying to make. If we don't build up our support, we will have nothing TO support.

12.) 31 Aug 2014
Wee bill at n6 if we had went down the let's start again route at the start of our troubles we would not be in this mess now but having people in charge that can't coatch at all never helped

13.) 31 Aug 2014
@10, totally agree with you on both points. Many are staying away because of the way the club is, or is not, being run but also because of being fed up of the absolute dross that is on display on the park. The lack of vision and the massive missed opportunity beggars belief as far as I'm concerned.

So if we had played youth from the start & had better coaches all would be fine . if the youths were good as aird mcleod they would've been given a chance ,the board wasted the cash . I don't see other managers rushing to ibrox to even take our youth on loan that's how good they are .

15.) 31 Aug 2014
Ally is as culpable as anyone for the reason so many fans are not turning up to the games. Under his tenure the football has been shocking and his signing policy is the reason we are in this mess. Young players have been ignored in favour of journeyman players with no longterm future or sell on value. You only need to go back to last week with the ludicrous signing of Robinson. 2 young keepers considered not good enough to sit on the bench and another journeyman player brought in that we just can't afford. You couldn't make it up

16.) 31 Aug 2014
@14

Dundee Utd were happy to take Charlie Telfer and Hearts snapped up Gallagher pretty quickly. Maybe the reason others aren't getting picked up is because they don't get a chance.

The problem with playing a younger and cheaper team was that there was an urgency to get to the top league as quickly as possible and look where that has led us? I would, personally, have been delighted to see a Rangers playing a youthful team with a different coach and would have accepted it taking 6 or 7 years to get up the leagues.

18.) 31 Aug 2014
@14, r. f. , you are continually defending amc and his management team but say our youths are not good enough to step up. What exactly are the coaches employed to do? Are they not there to COACH these players to a level so that they CAN step up? You just can't see what is right in front of you.

31 Aug 2014 12:58:20
original poster the board are to blame not the fans sick of people like your self blaming fans that are staying away the board need move on plain and simple and only way to do this is by forcing there hand by not giving into there begin pleas

20.) 31 Aug 2014
31 Aug 2014 15:28:43
@18 & 14 exactly they coach the youth & see they are either not good enough or ready for first team football . telfer still not broke into first team at utd .
r.f

21.) 31 Aug 2014
N17steddy exactly mate I would have been more than pleased if we hade went down this route and taken longer to get back to top league but youngsters that have followed the club for a couple of years demanded a quick return

22.) 31 Aug 2014
@20, ok r. f. Doesn't quite fit your agenda so you try to make it fit. You just keep burying your head in the sand. 4 weeks into the season and you're having a go at Charlie Telfer! Unbelievable. As far as football management and an eye for a player is concerned Macnamara is miles ahead of amc, Gauld £2m, Robertson £2.8m Trouble is, you just don't want the lad to be a success, as again, it will not fit into your agenda. All you pro ally guys will be cringing when he is in the starting 11 regularly.

{Ed039's Note - McNamara didn't find Gauld and Robertson, Gauld was already at Dundee United and Robertson was being scouted by United while Peter Houston was still in charge. I am not a fan of Ally the manager but you cant put a comparison between Ally and McNamara and their "eye for a player" when he didn't have anything to do with it, the credit McNamara should get is for giving these guys consistent first team football)

23.) 31 Aug 2014
Fair comment Ed but he is the guy who gave Robertson his chance.

{Ed039's Note - I said that, the credit he does deserve is giving them first team football)

24.) 01 Sep 2014
Post number 12. You are spot on.

25.) 02 Sep 2014
N14 rf you should maybe have waited until transfer window was closed before that post eh I see a few youngsters are now out on loan between the ones out on loan and the others your hero has offloaded we have ver near a full team away
