I seen an article there saying current leicester city centre half jonny evans is out of contract this coming summer and that rangers maybe interested. He's still only 32 years old, which as we know is still young enough for a centre half. Personally for me although i rate evans and i know he's a massive bluenose, i honestly don't think we need him! I think we've currently got 5 good centre halfs in our squad, although edmundson could be sold in january or at the end of this season. On this subject could you please do a rangers centre half poll for me ED, would be much appreciated mate 👍
The poll being who do us bears rate the best centre half currently at rangers, ie. connor goldson, leon balogun, filip helander, nickola katic, george edmundson? 🤔Cheers ED!

Think Leicester are in the process of offering him a new contract mate. Read it either yesterday or the day before. Think he’s be a great partner for Goldson he’s an upgrade on Helander however he’s down there contesting the epl with Leicester and chasing champions league spots. Unless he does a Duffy and decides he’s always wanted to play for rangers lol just as much a chance he was a Man Utd Liverpool or arsenal fan though mate.

Whole Evans family are all Rangers fans lads, family are from the Rathcoole Estate in Belfast, no need to say any more.

I've been over in northern ireland on many occasions and met his uncle karl in the shankhill rangers club on a few occasions. The family are all rangers fans and i've met both jonny and corry a good few years ago now in northern ireland 👍.

Interestingly I spoke to Johnny Evans a year or so ago about whether he would ever consider turning out for the teddy bears! His kids in the same school as ours and he’s been on a few school trips and kids parties.

He said that it would be amazing if it happened but didn’t think it likely. Said he was pretty settled where he was and didn’t fancy spending more time away from the family. That said, times change, and he already spends a good bit away travelling from Manchester to Leicester through the week. But 1 thing was clear, he knew all about our history and was buzzing to talk about the Gers!
