Question troops. do you think the pressure of the title may be getting to some players as we have seen our form dropping off the last month.
Question 2. Do you think Gerrard should take somebody in like Walter Smith purely to have a sit down with players and talk them through title run ins, expectations etc.
Remember Alex Ferguson took Walter Smith to man u and was meant to be a masterclass as said so by Wayne Rooney and Ronaldo.
Would this possibly help gers to settle again or would it hinder and undermine Gerrard. thoughts.

David man, we’re that far ahead I could go in and walk them through that! If we throw it away now we need to shut the doors pack it in. Gerrard will know to play his strongest 11 every game and will know how to see it out. Have faith fella.

SG has already stated he use Walter smith as a mentor.
It shouldn’t need Smith to come in for a chat Davis and McGregor are there.

Bazza I agree we won't throw it away now. we did last year tho and our form has taken a massive dip in the last month. if it's good for Alex Ferguson and man u then surely it's good for gers and Gerrard. Tell you what if we lose our next game I guarantee doubt will fully enter the minds.

No, I don't think the pressure is getting to them.
We've beat Celtic, Aberdeen and Hibs playing poor. Which we always say is the sign of a team who'll win the league.
We're unbeaten in 28 league games - hardly a sign of a team on the ropes.

Some folk just getting nervous
stevie will have them fired up for rest of season I’m sure of it
And I’ll still take 1.0 wins all day to get us over the line as quickly as possible 😊.

The club captain has little presence or leadership skills. Pains me to say that but it’s true.

Bankie - you should listen to Stuart McCall when asked about the criticism of Tav as captain.
He said the Rangers team he played in had leaders all over the park. Everyone should take responsibility.
Should we not expect more on the park from McGregor ( 300+ games for Rangers ) , Davis ( NI captain ) , Goldson ( vice captain ) .
Plus international players in Jack, Helander and Barisic.
Yesterday was poor game management at the death. Tav caught upfield. Someone said it was Kent who lost the ball before the Hamilton player played it down the line.

Mrpotatohead. Understand but not sure we can draw meaningful comparison with the team McCall played in when we had Gough as captain providing genuine leadership to such a fantastic high quality group. In the absence of jack and Davis yesterday the skills of Tav as captain were tested and his limitations revealed. I don’t blame Tav, he should never have been selected club captain, and believe the responsibility effects his own game. From my perspective Tav merely performs the ceremonial aspects of being club captain and is not an effective captain on the park during games. So far SG has been blinkered and stuck with his initial choice. I hope during the close season this is reevaluated.

I think if we had a CH / captain in the style of Gough, Bankie, there is no way Tav is rampaging forward with less than a minute of injury time left!
Apparently Goldson is very vocal on the park. But too me it wasn't down to Tav being captain - it's the game management side we need to do better at.
