My worry is that we are heading in a downward trajectory. Our squad is no better than last season, we have players that have been at the Club for weeks if not months and according to PC they are still not ready, yet other Clubs, (not just Celtic), bring in players that hit the ground running.
Unless we get new investment and a clear out at Board level, things will only get worse.

Everyone knows I was not for putting him in b team think it only causes more resentment and bitterness in the squad I fear this is the start of the downfall of clement and to be clear I like clement but feel telling players they were not wanted last year (if true) was his first big mistake his second being making players train with the b team.
And if cantwell such a bad role model does it make sense to stick him with younger player where he could have a bad influence over them
If this is a genuine opinion of cantwell then fair enough but if he's doing it to engineer a move I'd hold him to his contract and let him rot and make him train on his loan.

No sima that's how football as a whole goes and the players know this, he does get paid 22k a week, doesn't mean it's ok to do it, but it happens. Todd is more interested in tiktok and stupid spats with Sutton/ mcgregor which BTW was embarrassing. He came up here as a huge signing, basically couldn't hack it. I remember gregg taylor putting up with way more from his fans, but had the mentality to work hard and shut them up, that's the difference. He does leave a legacy of not giving hetate a drink. No matter how this subject is dressed up, there is a toxic and obnoxious attitude by an awful lot of Rangers Fans? towards not only our existing players, but also against any new players linked to our Club.
It's getting to the stage where no player will want to play for us, the most used phrase is 'He's not Rangers Class' which is ludicrous to say the least.
Meanwhile our pals across the City are coining it in, and going to be even wealthier when O'Reilly goes to Brighton, I also see that Man City are interested in Furahashi.
Time to waken up folks and stop this crap as we will never again be able to challenge them, we need to accept our position and support every player who pulls on the jersey, make them feel welcome. As for Cantwell, get that idiot off the books ASAP, he's only interested in himself, sorry about the rant, but my anger at our current situation will not improve unless we are a unit.

I stand by my comment though that, there is constant berating of players, new, current and speculated, we have to leave all of this to the paid staff to get it right, none of us can influence much at all, but we can improve the feeling around the Club with our support.

Portger23 - we are still entitled to criticise the players and the staff at the club when they are clearly not performing to the level expected.
Fans do still show support by going to the games and spending their hard earned money hence why the fans are then angry when players do not perform. This is sport at the end of the day.
Plus these players are paid very very well considering so they should be held to a certain level.
Also most fans are on forums like this venting and giving their opinion/ criticism or as some label it "abuse". Players aren't on here reading this stuff and most of us would not approach a player and "abuse" them. Fair enough yes some fans will shout from the crowd etc.
Generally feel like the whole thing is rather soft.

the first thing you get when on a call to a service centre or walk into any facilities saying our staff will not tolerate abuse, no matter how frustrated someone is it is not right to abuse anyone. human nature would have someone starting to play safe and not getting abuse that taking the risks that we need them to do. people in the firing line tend to take themselves out of that firing line.
vent the frustration and disappointment at the end of the game fine, but during it is for sure counter productive.
