Was reading in The S*n this morning the Blackburn are convinced that Joe Rothwell is almost certain to sign a deal in January with us, does anyone know what position he plays and if he's good enough?

Storm, mcann always had excellent reputation at academy level, Rothwell never.
Also told we r looking to bring in two players for academy, one from Ghana, other Mali.
This is being led by Cameron Campbell, coach Beale brought from Belgium.

He may have had a excellent rep but he still done the same as the blackburn boy at Man U and that’s nothing.

Ravel Morrison had a good rep as a youngster at Man U and looked what happened to him wasted talent the boy from blackburn is playing at a better level that McCann at the moment so must be doing something right I don’t know much about either as I haven’t seen much of either player.

I never said he done anything at Utd John but he did come through their academy, 95% of lads that go through that academy don’t go on to play for Utd but quite a high % go on to have decent careers. Rothwell has over 100 games under his belt for Blackburn that tells me he’s a good player weather that’s good enough for us as I said in my original post I’m not sure!

Highland I’ve followed Man Utd for over 40 years.
I am with u don’t see him being good enough, but if he signs I’ll back him.

Joe rothwell is 26 years of age, charlie mccann is 19, that's maybe got something to do with rothwell playing at a higher level at the moment.
