Anyone heard anything about charlie adam coming back? Stoke haven't offered him a new contract yet, maybe he would take a wage cut to come back, he's only 31.

i don't think adam and lafferty are players that pedro would want.
im sure dorrans wants to move to the U. S but with jack coming in and hopefully naisy and with rossiter and niko due back the middle doest look bad at all and i think there will be another 1/ 2 players aded in that area and with young barjonas coming trough we all need to be more positive and signing a few guys over 30 that are winners will nt be a bad thing for us to have in our squad alves is a brilliant player and just because of his age people are doubting him and a lot of them where the ones that wanted hill to get another year sorry but hill is older and slower and doesn't have the pedegree that laves does i know who i'd prefer

Say what you want about the way he left but the boys hearts with rangers obviously had reasons for leaving, and to be honest I don't think I would've hung about at that point

I hope ferguson gets the job as well. I've read on here people saying he was rubbish at clyde. He got them to the play offs one season and a play off final last season i believe. It didn't work out this season for clyde but i would say that he had a decent amount of success at broadwood.
Also, although its not the be all and end all as far as recruitment is concerned, i believe it is not a bad thing that ferguson is a rangers man. I hope you get the job barry ferguson. I enjoyed watching him play and i believe he can help our new manager.

Regarding ped the ted's "local coach" think ray Wilkins would be an ideal candidate. exceptional football player, very experienced coach had great spell playing for us so knows club well and has many connections in England .

Wouldn't mind barry or lovenkrands as no 3. Both adored by the support, both love the club, they both know the league and and other clubs strengths (lovenkrands is occasionally a pundit and I believe still lives in scotland) both young as well so could relate to the playing squad and good be key in the dressing room.

fans haven't made that rumour up it was the press but i can't see lovenkrands getting the job but i would however be happy with an ex-ranger becoming no. 3 for one reason he will get the team inspired to play at a magnificent club like ours and that will be specifically what they are hired for not to do actual coaching but more to help out with the man management

The player was not Jordan Thompson.
Thompson played the day before against Spurs for 60 minutes (30 at left back and 30 at central midfield). He then headed home to Belfast at night for the 12th of July celebrations.
No idea who the trialist was as there was no mention of a name anywhere.
