People are Talking about Gerrard Possibly being interested in any of our players. I'm not sure which positions Gerrard has identified to strengthen at villa. However he was interested in Veerman to strengthen our midfield. Is their a possibility he could want Veerman at villa? I Hope we haven't missed out as he looks a top player. I understand they will be shopping in a whole different market and have major cash to burn compared to us. Hopefully the dutch link could entice him to us, that's if Gio wants him and we acquire some cash through sales. With all our new staff and of course Gio himself. I'm sure their will be a lot more potential targets now with possibly some hidden gems. I'm feeling positive but its just the beginning. Think u may see a lot of players rejuvenated who have been written off aswell. The next old firm will be interesting as we know Celtic never change their way of playing. Gio will put a plan in place and good teams always get chances against Celtic. Let the Buffalo Soldier loose on them. If we approach each game with the same desire and fight as we did against Sparta then I will be happy. You can accept coming away from a game without a victory if the players have given their all. What we can't accept is loosing a game where the players don't fight for everyball and show fight desire and commitment. Looking forward to some variation after watching the same old going stale and not changing things up.

Good post Broxxi and 100% agree. I can handle losing a game as long as the players havre given their best.

Only thing, I doubt Stevie will want any of our squad, he has the budget to get the worlds top performers.

How would our players fare in the EPL? .

Tbh bluebilly I'm not too sure if he would want any of of players, but IMO I believe our players could cut it at EPL level. Not saying the man city's or Liverpool's but their is a good few players performing well in EPL that have come from Scotland. Mcginn, Armstrong, Robertson, Van Digt, Eduord. Even as someone said other day if Duffy can do it I don't see why any of our players can't. But Duffy is a great example. Players can be hit or miss at any club its all about fitting into the teams system and playing to your strengths. For a team that went unbeaten last season their was barely a weak link in our team. I wouldn't be judging them on this season, but saying that we are still top of the league progressed in Europa league and that's with players not putting the heart on the line as loosing a bit of faith in manager and disharmony in the dressing room. Also with our keeper saving less then 1 in 2 shots at him. Not blaming McGregor but had he even been performing half as good as last season we would be miles in front. I believe a couple could go to the very top its just finding the right club. We have beaten better teams in Europe last couple seasons than a lot of teams in the EPL and done it in style. We wouldn't have bn putting silly price tags on them last season if we thought otherwise. But yeah that's my opinion bluebilly mate 💙💙💙.
