WHO, broke this story out, does anyone know for sure who it was the police or just a rumourmonger.

1.) 16 Feb 2021 17:59:24
If nobody is guilty the club would tell us. Players are definitely in the wrong here and it's wrong on the fans that the club isn't telling us the culprits that could've ruined our season.

2.) 16 Feb 2021 18:15:24
Sweep, there’s an internal investigation going on, nobody will be named, until it’s complete,
except by outside influences, like coppers or media, just like everything else in old firm world, it’s certainly not a rumour.

3.) 16 Feb 2021 18:43:04
That old favourite word on here, could've! 🙄.

4.) 16 Feb 2021 18:43:44
End of the day it won’t take a genius to work out who’s the guilty culprits when they board the plane tomorrow. If anyone is in the wrong then they won’t be involved. Maybe there is more to this than what’s been reported, nobody knows, will just need to wait and see.

5.) 16 Feb 2021 19:07:09
I heard it was a reporter who got refused entry at ibrox on Saturday but just a rumour so far.

6.) 16 Feb 2021 19:37:32
so rangers are an employer and this is generally how an employer behaves when investigating an employee.

7.) 16 Feb 2021 19:50:55
Relly hope it’s just the youths that were there.

8.) 16 Feb 2021 20:50:28
I think it's absolute class how we conduct our business behind closed doors now instead of washing our dirty linen in public.

9.) 16 Feb 2021 21:31:51
I’ve not seen any proof. Can’t believe that players were at a party and there’s not one photo? Starting to think the club are speaking to players thoroughly before committing to a statement it’s a smear campaign.

10.) 16 Feb 2021 22:50:55
Bluemark. Latest I’ve heard was that It was meant to be a house party solely involving some players and their partners, not like a party with loads of other people. Hence why there wouldn’t be any photos etc.

Now that some insurance companies are pulling the plug on renewing football policies that cover this pandemic, does anyone know Rangers situation at present.

Can not see any info on Rangers official site.

Last thing we need is to be lumbered wi more an more debt building up.

1.) 27 Mar 2020 14:50:11
Bluebilly
No insurance won't lumber us with debt but will lumber us with increased risk should unforseen happen like death from Coronavirus God forbid or career ending injury. Even long term injury won't be covered so if football returns might be non contact or handbags. Insurance seeing massive increased risk and don't like odds.

2.) 27 Mar 2020 14:51:37
Insurance companies are the pariah of oUr country they take take take, but hate paying back. They and the bloody bankers make money out if despair and misfortune, bankers we bailed out I hasten to add, leeches one and all come the day, pay back hopefully will be made.

3.) 27 Mar 2020 19:18:09
the money lent to RBS resulted in the Govt taking a stake in the company Rubes, so the public will be paid back

how much will depend on how the market recovers as at present our stake is prob worth 2 goldfish and a balloon.

4.) 27 Mar 2020 21:07:11
Rubes12, insurance companies are needed mate, where would we be without them, i know they take take take, mate, but if you have a bump driving, or on public transport wherever, you will be glad of them, either to save youu a fortune, or to give you enough to bury yourself, they are a must, imo.

5.) 28 Mar 2020 06:47:13
Look at the Aberdeen situation there insurance ends at the end of April that is why Aberdeen are concerned. IF Rangers insurance is beyond that date say for example it runs till 2021 then they have to an obligation to see the contract through.

6.) 28 Mar 2020 08:37:44
I've still been trying to find out what our insurance position is without success.

Any you guys any info on it.

7.) 28 Mar 2020 09:32:41
Try Celtic pages bluebilly.

8.) 28 Mar 2020 10:27:00
Ha ha Bluebro,

Good to see humour is no dead yet friend.

Cheers.

9.) 28 Mar 2020 10:35:30
a renewal is really guaranteed new policy but does not guarantee what's in it. insurance companies can drop extra coverages then practically at will.

10.) 29 Mar 2020 18:31:15
Bluebrother, i was going to post in reply to your post, but never bothered, but every time i see it i laugh, so compliments from me, eventually, lol.

04 Oct 2019 08:46:36
OK guys, no point in slagging off Tav who did cost us the game by the way.

The blame lies squarely on Stevie, to me he is not learning the management role fast enough to get us back to the good old days like with my idol Walter.

Before Davie Murrey f'd the club tho.

1.) 04 Oct 2019 10:57:24
But tav did a tav twice and cost us the game🤷‍♂️👍.

2.) 04 Oct 2019 12:58:30
Aye Coldo he did, but the buck stops wi the manager like wi every other club as I'm sure your'e aware.

Why do you think a load of them get the boot (sacked) .

3.) 04 Oct 2019 13:50:37
Sometimes you can't account for stupidity billy, you can't blame gerrard for tav's stupidity. that's what lost the game👍.

4.) 04 Oct 2019 14:42:37
What people forget is that Walter Smith spent over £50m on players in his 6 years in charge, money that recent Rangers managers could only dream about, and as I recall, when he left Rangers we were in a poor state and on the way down. The team value was no where near £50m when he got out.

5.) 04 Oct 2019 17:28:35
Blue Billy gerrard had the team set up well last night, it was so comfortable for us. You csnt legislate for 2 mistakes you wouldn't expect sn under 12 player to make.

28 Jan 2019 10:38:37
I've said on here before that I don't profess to have tactical qualifications.

However a few posters seem to me to have this gift more than Stevie had. What more proof of this do we need after Sundays great result with the formations suggested by the said posters.

Even Rangers officials say Stevie need to stick with a settled starting 11 and formation.

25 Jan 2019 15:41:43
Now that the fallout from Wednesdays horror result has died down slightly, can I ask fellow Bears what they feel about seeking a billionaire backer that would guarantee to overturn the mankies dominance of the SPFL.

I still believe that due to our financial restraints, we need to give Stevie at least two season or even to the end of his contract if necessary to get us back to the top.

Am I right in thinking we turned down an American billionaire a few years ago because he wanted to rename Ibrox.

As far as I'm concerned I couldn't care less what the ground is called. The manks call it the asbestos dome etc., so what difference would it make to us.

It will always be the home of the great GLASGOW RANGERS regardless of the name.

1.) 25 Jan 2019 16:24:12
Wishful thinking. No return on an investment getting involved in Scotland.

2.) 25 Jan 2019 16:35:40
no no no. I don't want our club to become one of those clubs, I would rather build a self sustaining football club over time instead of having a sugar daddy. I would not rename our stadium either.

3.) 25 Jan 2019 16:38:51
We won’t get someone to put millions into the club, it’s not going to happen in Scottish football unless it’s a rangers fan who have millions spare they don’t want back.

We will match them and we will overtake them not today but with hard work and doing it the Rangers way it will come.

4.) 25 Jan 2019 17:36:54
Yeah the American billionaire Bill Miller was favourite to buy the club in 2012 until we fans unfurled banners at ibrox saying the "yank can **** off", great move by us! And then we ended up with Charles Green. Wonder where we would be if Miller had bought us.

5.) 25 Jan 2019 19:36:00
Do we really need a billionaire owner to beat a team like Kilmarnock? c'mon let’s be honest Wednesday just wasn’t good enough end of.

6.) 25 Jan 2019 19:50:24
horror result .

we lost 2-1 away to killie who are 2nd on merit

not what i wld call a horror result it was hardly 5-0 or a defeat to alloa

folk on here slating gerrard and saying defoe and davis signings are a mistake after 1game need to get a grip

the result hurts bit credit where it’s due to killie and wee bit of perspective please

just way i see it lads.

7.) 25 Jan 2019 21:34:37
We don't need billionaires to fund our club. Buy young talent like morelos. Players looking for pathway to england. Buy cheap bring them on for 2 or 3 years then sell on at big profit. Need to get rid of the 7 figure loan fees and buy a young player for that money. The worral loan makes no sense to me could have bought a tested spl defender for that money. Nothing special just good honest centre half. Money we have spent on defoe and davis loans could have got the 2 boys from hjk. I know i will get slaughtered for saying that but they looked like hungry players with decent talent and big potential.

8.) 25 Jan 2019 21:41:58
I think Dermot Desmond is considering a bid?

9.) 25 Jan 2019 21:59:21
Let's be honest It doesn't matter about a billionaire We should need millions to be beating teams like Kilmarnock!
No disrespect to Kilmarnock they've come on from Stevie Clarke's appointment, who I feel is doing better than Stevie Gerrard!
The problem was tactics were shocking!

We cannot be using the excuse of plastic pitches as every team is in the same boat in having to play Kilmarnock

Where we went wrong was we never set up to play two wingers and really go for the jugular and therefore stretch Kilmarnock, who were comfortable as a result Jordan Jones and co was always going to cause issues with that back two McAuley has no pace and Worrall reckons he is Pique at times and switches off!

Having Tav whipping crosses over and being often upfront than back caused more issues for our back two furthermore as there were no cover
No excuses these guys punished us because tactics were piss poor from Mr Gerrard on this occasion!

It seems our scouting network is lacking from our neighbours across the Rd Why go for experienced old friends in Defoe, not to forget the money He is earning, when we can got for young and hungry talent!

We are still a defender required and another striker
Why was Lafferty not playing up tops with Morelos To bring Defoe on for the last 20-25mins would've made more sense! That want happen though because we are paying good wages for him to be sitting on the bench!

10.) 25 Jan 2019 23:53:03
I'm sure in the past we all thought we had a sugga daddy in Murray but look where that got us and before we all jump on the post those that were there during the Murray era loved the fact we spunked money out on everyone and their granny! I'm Scottish football we don't have the luxury that they have in England where the can chuck millions at players knowing the tv revenue in one season covers it!

As pa previous poster says we have to find raw players looking for a springboard to the premiership or bigger leagues where we can cash in on in a couple of seasons time!

And I ain't even going to bite at the dermot post!

11.) 26 Jan 2019 10:17:36
Kyle. We have been trying for 6 years now.
Do we have to wait till the mankies get 12 in a row if stevie can't stop them.

12.) 26 Jan 2019 10:19:26
A billionaire backer, to win the spfl? are you mad. We should be able to win the league with what we have - just need a manager who knows what he's doing.

13.) 26 Jan 2019 10:37:54
Can't believe how bipolar our supporters are. Last week we were all buzzing and one bad performance to very good Kilmarnock side it's all Stevie G isn't good enough we need a new owner think everybody needs to calm down.

14.) 26 Jan 2019 19:35:55
We need to calm down but you have to admit the diamond formation didn't work - too narrow and no width.
Sebrofg - what would be your team v Livingston?
Surely SG must revert to a 4-3-3 formation.

15.) 26 Jan 2019 22:24:20
Copland i think we need to go to a 343. Greegs katic goldson [mcaulay] worral tav jack davis berisic candeis morelos kent.

16.) 26 Jan 2019 23:34:07
Millar was never serious and was just courting publicity. fact. no sensible person would invest in the Scottish league when the odds down south are grossly more attractive . especially in second tier.

17.) 27 Jan 2019 12:29:55
Mols, Celtic got a billionaire backer and still have him.

18.) 27 Jan 2019 12:39:48
No we don't want to rely on a billionaire. We want a club that sustains itself, a scouting system that identifies players of value other than wasting 2 or 3 mil on duds and a club that is able to scout, develop and bring through youth. 👍.

19.) 29 Jan 2019 00:05:50
Ha bluebilly are celtic happy with the millions and millions their backer is putting into buying players, not. that with all the dosh they've made when we were down says to me he’s no interest in spending . only bought disco lights so as he could hire groundbout for concerts and discos ha.

Ok guys .

Is tomorrows game meaningless, or as Stevie says we want to win every game till the end of the season.

I'm with him on that .

1.) 20 Apr 2021 12:13:59
I'd call it a dress rehearsal for Sundays cup tie.
I'd like to win all remaining games
So a good strong team should play for me.
#extendthegap
🔴⚪🔵.

2.) 20 Apr 2021 12:49:38
So close so may aswell go all out and win them all.

3.) 20 Apr 2021 13:35:15
Anything but defeat, that’ll do for me.

4.) 20 Apr 2021 14:50:13
We go out to win every game no matter what.

5.) 20 Apr 2021 15:09:44
Agree Tom. It would be nice to extend the unbeaten league season so draw would not be a disaster. Would not want to stick in a weakened team and get beaten, giving St Johnstone a lift for Sunday.

18 Apr 2021 11:53:24
Just noticed Stranraer Hibs game on bbc1 at 12.39.

Will have a watch at that to calm my nerves an get settled before our make or break cup game.

1.) 18 Apr 2021 11:58:17
Meant to say 12.15.

2.) 18 Apr 2021 12:04:45
Only down side, our old pal Stewart is commenting on it just now.

3.) 18 Apr 2021 12:27:01
Mind set the alarm for 3 incase you fall asleep through that.

18 Apr 2021 08:51:25
Morning if your on here just now 3cheers.

Just saw your comment about my settee having handles and motorised as I am behind it when Rangers play.

Only when we have been struggling in the few games recently have I felt the need to .

When we start well I'm like most of us enjoying a lager and the game.

As you say, let's all sit back on our settee's today and watch us dump celts .

ps:- please fans STAY AWAY FROM IBROX TODAY. Wee krankie will be watchin us.

1.) 18 Apr 2021 10:31:51
We usually know in the first 5 or 10 mins how it's going to go bluebilly. My daughter says I sink further and further down into the sofa when it's not good and perch on the edge if it"s going well. If it's tight the last ten minutes I start pacing about the lounge like a man possessed! Why do we put ourselves through it? 👍❤👏🇬🇧.

2.) 18 Apr 2021 10:38:43
I know how you're feeling Billy. I'm always nervous before an old firm mate but this ones really got to me.
We'll be OK come kick off time though. 💙💙💙👍.

3.) 18 Apr 2021 11:10:51
Sturgeon won't be watching. She's too busy out and about on the campaign trail for the upcoming elections.
Let's hope she doesn't break the rules like Swinney recently did then try to cover it up. All this after calling Rangers fans for everything for breaking the rules the week before. 🙄.

04 Apr 2021 09:33:07
If we can't score more goals tonight than pacific did yesterday, then I feel Stevie needs to find out why and fix it.

This struggling against park the bus teams needs to stop, we are CHAMPIONS now.

Seen it on here some saying a mark of champions is snatching a win or a draw from the jaws of defeat.

Well I say a mark of champions is EASY WINS and lots of goals.

C'mon the Gers tonight.

No behind the settee stuff please.

1.) 04 Apr 2021 10:04:25
I'd go with Kent and Wright on the wings for pace with Itten up top with Roofe. I've got a feeling Patterson and Bassey will start at FBs and that's the reason for the appeal.

2.) 04 Apr 2021 10:33:54
No chance sweep1!Scott Wright will start and ryan kent will get rested on the bench 🤔 Can't believe mate that you didn't know why alexander played instead of greegs, in the 2008 uefa cup final 🤔.

3.) 04 Apr 2021 10:34:30
Sweep can’t see him playing 2 upfront for one game it will be the same formation as always.

4.) 04 Apr 2021 10:52:00
SGL give it a break its 13 years ago and I have a life outside football. Its getting to the point of obsession from you to me. Why would you rest Kent when he's not played in 2 weeks?

5.) 04 Apr 2021 11:14:00
SGL why have another go at sweep, u don’t know why people forget things, ie dementia, mental health, not that important, can u hand on heart swear you know who all the subs were in that final
Seems sweep is your new target this month.

6.) 04 Apr 2021 11:27:21
It doesn't even bother me its petty and childish. Funny thing is he would be crying woof to Ed if he was on the end of it from someone else.

7.) 04 Apr 2021 11:39:13
That is my point sweep, I like debating with u . However as u know we don’t agree all the time.

8.) 04 Apr 2021 11:48:15
Poor form SGL when he asked the question I couldn’t remember either and I have a terrible memory for someone of my age.

9.) 04 Apr 2021 11:54:54
It's good to have a debate John, if we all agreed on everything there wouldn't be a page like this one.

10.) 04 Apr 2021 12:04:10
SGL I like you as a poster mate, and your enthusiasm for Rangers is 2nd to none on here, but you have to stop this personal agenda you have with sweep as it's coming across as petty and immature. There is no need, and I hope you can see that?

11.) 04 Apr 2021 12:17:52
BMGH01,i'm only at the wind up with sweep1 mate, hand on heart honest to god 🙏 Sorry sweep1,i'm only at the madam regarding the last 2 posts pal, no hard feelings i hope 🙏 You're always entitled to your opinion mate and it reads for health debate 👍I don't always agree with all your post, but you most definitely have contributed to good posts on here pal👍Take care my friend and i apologise if i've offended you in any way 😞.

12.) 04 Apr 2021 12:36:51
SGL there u go again, when rightly called out u say u r at the wind up.
U should consider that may not be how he feels, think twice before you speak once mate.

13.) 04 Apr 2021 12:37:42
Ps SGL can u name 2008 subs without google, be honest.

14.) 04 Apr 2021 13:19:53
again i find merit in sweep's first post when not looking too and now find myself supporting him. really sgl? poor again.

15.) 04 Apr 2021 13:35:16
John25,what school are you headmaster at 🤔You truly think you're the hugh keevins of this site 🤔 Don't criticise me for your continuous calling out of me, when you had a go at me earlier for my post towards sweep1!So like with the 3 bears tirade you had with me a while ago and i answered you correctly then, i do know most of our subs from Manchester, but i'm not at your beck and call mate and i'm not being brow beated by you in answering your question, hows that? 🤔.

16.) 04 Apr 2021 14:48:07
Lol but good enough for you to call out sweep for not remembering why Geegs not playing. Pmsl mate.

17.) 04 Apr 2021 14:51:36
SGL I’ll help u
Smith, daily, Faye adams, novo, mcculloch Boyd.

It’s amazing how many don’t remember Faye, only appearance in Europe a sub in final.

18.) 04 Apr 2021 14:54:54
John that will be a no then he can’t answer all the subs without Google 😂.

26 Mar 2021 16:42:35
Not much going on just now, so would like to ask after watching the Scotland game last night.

Who was it that was reprimanded along with Our goalie McGregor for giving the vickie sign to the cameras a while back on the world cup.

Was it Barry Ferguson? .

1.) 26 Mar 2021 16:46:30
Sure was Bill, silly gesture, very childish, but sometimes we forget

They’re football players,

2.) 26 Mar 2021 17:37:04
Thanks Tom,

Was not sure or even why they did it, as you say they are professional football players and should have known better.

Cheers mate.

3.) 26 Mar 2021 17:38:53
Yip, your correct. He also went in a huff when he found out Arteta was getting paid more than him.

4.) 26 Mar 2021 18:06:55
No wonder as baz carried rangers himself in parts of his illustrious rangers career and i actually rated and liked mikel arteta!

5.) 26 Mar 2021 18:37:32
Fergie and Arteta were superb in the middle of the park for us, absolutely loved that pairing.

6.) 26 Mar 2021 19:18:22
Ferguson couldn't hack it, he was captain and getting paid less than Arteta, that's the only reason he left for Blackburn.

7.) 26 Mar 2021 19:19:23
Barry Ferguson left Rangers for Blackburn Rovers .

Rangers for Blackburn Rovers

For more money and fight relegation every year.

Back up the road after a few years

Still one thing you can say about Ferguson someone wanted to buy him and play at a better level . You get some players who stay in Scotland their full careers because SPFL is there level and comfort zone ie Scott Brown.

8.) 26 Mar 2021 21:26:43
Barry was sold by Rangers to rovers because they needed the cash to appease the bank urgently, Barry was offered big money by rovers and signed, helping Rangers and his earnings.

9.) 26 Mar 2021 22:00:24
Was it not Souness that was manger of Blackburn who signed Barry .
McGregor and Barry accepted the drinking session but Scott Brown there as well got off Scott free.

10.) 27 Mar 2021 07:31:11
Spot on tomthumb12 some people have short memories and are not doing their homework before posting.

11.) 27 Mar 2021 08:51:13
Double standards again TT?

Barry and McGregor act like petulant children and get banned - they’re just footballers

Bassey, Paterson etc go to a private party breaking C.V. restrictions - hang them from the nearest tree, they should never play for Rangers again!

Diehard Rangers fans think it’s important to gather to celebrate 55 - they are not fans, shoot the lot of them

You have family around to your house under lockdown - that’s fine cause you are poorly and your niece works in healthcare!

Everyone entitled to an opinion but a bit of consistency of opinion makes for better debate.

12.) 27 Mar 2021 09:41:45
Ferguson was a good footballer but a bellend of a guy. He could make 50yrd passes but no one else could as he'd run over and take the ball off his own player from 2ft away. When in possession the key is to expand your pitch and narrow it out of possession. Ferguson would continue to close in his own player to get the ball. Not because he didn't know this because as much as I don't like him the guy was a technical player, it was because he thought he was more important than the team and the principles of play. I know folk love him but his petulance and attitude surely must come into it when being a legend. Richard Gough never once acted like a wee child on the pitch and Gough was world class. Cooper stayed when rangers were crap and Gregg tried to play football that didn't include coops, when durrant was cut down by that animal he never gave up and walked away even knowing he was no longer the same player. These men are only a tiny example of the men who carried themselves with grace and dignity that our club demands. Ferguson isn't liked by some because he didn't behave like that. We have underperformed in youth development and believe me a Barry Ferguson running across the pitch screaming at you to give him the ball from 2ft away and only him didn't help youngsters develop. Why has Barry never been offered a job at the club. Reason he'd try and take over and it would be all about him. At no time do I think he wasn't a good footballer but he wasn't as good as some think and especially as much as Barry himself thought.

13.) 27 Mar 2021 09:50:18
TT12, exactly mate, baz was sold as rangers very badly needed cash absolutely nothing at all regarding mikel arteta allegedly getting more wages than him 😂😂.

14.) 27 Mar 2021 10:38:36
Great Post Livibear, I think that can sum Barry up pretty well. I know what u mean about taking the ball off his team mates at times he also done it for Scotland. It’s something I noticed and remeber well. But wouldn’t u put that down to a will to win and a desperation to get the ball and move it forward and perhaps knowing others didn’t have the same technical ability as him to do just that? He was desperate to succeed and be the very best. Desperate to win. Perhaps at times his heart rules his head without doubt it did actually. I agree the reason he hasn’t been brought into the club in some capacity is he would try and takeover and would try and undermine managers coaches etc as he’d have his eye on their job. I agree on that. Only part I don’t agree is that he was indeed as good as he thought and perhaps better. He was world class before his knees started going and even down at Blackburn I seen him controlling a game against liverpool one day from start to finish. Pure class act. He recently said billy gilmour is a better player than he was at that age. So he is also not as up himself as u say. But I like your post mate 👍🏼.

{Ed001's Note - it was a fashion at the time for the playmaking midfielder to do that, I used to get really annoyed with Jamie Redknapp doing the exact same thing for Liverpool. Thankfully it died out quickly.}

15.) 27 Mar 2021 10:41:16
Utter nonsense. Ferguson left because Arteta was getting paid more than him. He argued he was the captain of Rangers but he never got any more money. That is a fact.

If Ferguson left because Rangers badly needed the cash, why did we buy him back for £4.5 million?
Great player for Rangers but hardly a world beater with his choice of move to Blackburn and later Birmingham.
I never seen any of the top clubs in the world come in for him?

17.) 27 Mar 2021 12:05:39
Hopefully not the same niece that was at George Square celebrating Rangers title win. 😲.

18.) 27 Mar 2021 12:25:40
Should never have been brought back, was the invisible man.

19.) 27 Mar 2021 12:53:56
You're a really funny guy BIGIKS, so you are pal😂😂.

20.) 27 Mar 2021 21:06:57
Dik, utterly despicable , utterly shocking,

21.) 27 Mar 2021 22:04:25

Well if he wants to go not much can be done to stop him Steven mate.

However, Although he has had much to do with our success, I am a bit doubtful of him being as successful with a so called bigger club than ours.

All the best to him if and when he does go though.

That's my thinking as well colin1968, but most on the banter page say Stevie was right to do what he did .

Certainly not me as he should have known the consequences .

However we all agree it won't affect our team management.

No Sweep1 mate, I would prefer "all our players to avoid all international duty that's why I added the second post.

Cheers mate.

Why do Rangers want to join the EPL anyway .

We are a Scottish team .

The bigger you are the harder you fall.

No Rangers player should play for Scotland .

They have enough on their plate with the domestics and hopefully Europe .

They get enough injuries without risking international ones.

Plus they seem to prefer celtic players anyway up til now of course.
