New signing to be announced πŸ’™.

1.) 01 Sep 2021 08:25:38

2.) 01 Sep 2021 09:12:39

3.) 01 Sep 2021 09:28:35
Could be out of contract.

4.) 01 Sep 2021 09:43:55
Or Broxxi gambled and lost!

5.) 01 Sep 2021 09:47:36
I'm very glad that they have decided to announce it.

6.) 01 Sep 2021 11:54:18
πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ was listening to rangers radio last night. Apparently someone from club or something tweeted about stay up late for announcement to look forward too. can't exactly remember what was said or by who I'd have to go back and re-listen. I was all excited waiting on announcement but nothing came through. Wasn't a guess i wouldn't have said it otherwise. just glad all our top players are here. Sorry for wrong info guys πŸ’™.

7.) 01 Sep 2021 12:15:12
It happens broxi. I went to bed at ten as my info was nothing happening.

8.) 01 Sep 2021 13:40:17
Broxxibear, where do you find Rangersradio?

9.) 01 Sep 2021 14:04:06
Or could be people claiming to be in the know lol.

10.) 02 Sep 2021 05:52:20
It's on you tube Bankie.

11 Jul 2021 19:51:29
Does anyone know of the contract situation where gerrard personally gets a percentage of profit of each player he signs and moves on? i'm a big massive huge fan of Gerrard but can't this clause be taken advantage of for personal gain. Granted without gerrard i don't think we could attract the players he has. Just concerned players can be moved on for personal gain rather than the gain of our club. Still i can see the passion and love he has for the club but unsure of his contract situation when selling playersπŸ‘ŒπŸ’™.

1.) 12 Jul 2021 07:30:09
I’ve looked into this a few times and can’t find any info on it.

2.) 12 Jul 2021 08:13:55
Think a lot of managers have clauses like these, for unearthing gems etc. But the transfer would still need to be accepted by the club and agreed by the DOF.

Don’t think these types of clauses are used on big transfers. So might not be the case with Goodson or Kent but maybe with Kamara or Barasic.

But your right it could be open to abuse if he has these sorts of clauses?

3.) 12 Jul 2021 08:20:29
Broxxi I would say if that was the case there would have been a bit more movement in terms of players sales. SG has been here for 3 seasons and we have only ever sold players for nominal fees so I wouldn't think it's true. SG is a man of integrity and loyalty as well. I can't see him ever wanting a clause like that in his contract because it leaves him wide open for criticism after each player sale. I've only ever heard of Jackie Mcnamara having this sort of contract at Dundee Utd. I wouldn't worry about it to be honest.

4.) 12 Jul 2021 08:32:50
Urban myth me thinks.

5.) 12 Jul 2021 08:59:18
I honestly think it’s utter bs just my opinion.

6.) 12 Jul 2021 11:48:41
I think Jackie McNamara was sacked from Dundee Utd for abusing the system.
I've never heard or read it anywhere official that Gerrard has this deal with Rangers πŸ€”.

7.) 12 Jul 2021 13:52:27
No such clause in SG’s contract.

8.) 12 Jul 2021 14:41:45
Hard to believe this one as he clearly doesn't need the money.

9.) 12 Jul 2021 19:06:51
I asked the question of my only remaining contact at Ibrox and he said he didn't honestly know, but he would be 'gobsmacked if there was the slightest bit of truth in this.

26 Feb 2021 09:42:23
Heard gers are going for big duffy this season. For giving us the contribution to the laughing stock tht is celtic this seoson. Contact would be deserved the calamities he dished up was hilarious to say the leastπŸ‘ŒπŸ‘ŒπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

1.) 26 Feb 2021 10:13:18
Although I’ve totally enjoyed the meltdown, and they’re faithful following of anyone Irish as the new king, I can’t help thinking that boy should have been removed from the front line long ago, Lennon completely ignored the guys family issues and failure to realise that Duffy wasn’t coping well with the death of his father and struggling badly in the spotlight,

Lennon continued to put him on that spotlight until his confidence crumbled to smithereens, shameful management.

2.) 26 Feb 2021 11:16:19
TT12,I think this just one of many things that will become known between now and next season.
Rumours of players squaring up to him, turning up for training looking 'rough', players downing tools for months. would love to see the non disclosure agreement that got him a payoff.

3.) 26 Feb 2021 11:59:10
finally tt.

4.) 26 Feb 2021 12:27:03
You just need to ask what you don't understand, and il explain it in simple terms mate,
Bar, yes, but I don't think we will ever know, I know lennon has a real problem, I know all about addiction challenge and frustration, and finished in football is something some can't deal with, lennons finishedcin football imo, nobody will want him again after his media shambles and the stories of mismanagement and bullying, remember the video of him telling the young boy mikey Johnston telling him to fxxk off as the boy was carried off, shameful behaviour and would not have gone unnoticed, not only in they're dressing rooms, but actually across the football world, its a close knit community, mainly due nowadays to many players being attached to agencies and gossip and rumours spreading like wildfire,

Lennon is not a nice guy and only has time for his drinking pals, which is why the only people who constantly back him are easy to name, its the usual apologists.

5.) 26 Feb 2021 13:39:26
Was our Stevie being diplomatic when he said he admired Lenny and will have a pint with him.

Or was he silently taking the p*ss Tom.

6.) 26 Feb 2021 15:42:36
God knows billy, maybe he wasn’t joking, but it’s very obvious Lennon is gone as far as football is concerned, for some time at least, I don't see any club wanting him just now, but you never know do you,

His pals aren’t helping, as they constantly defend him, mainly to ingratiate themselves.

7.) 27 Feb 2021 15:49:59
Tom brilliant son . that was exactly the situation, and the press and pundits won’t a knowledge.
They went downhill after he told that boy to feck off
You can get the moment on the net . but no it’s poor poor Lenny . him brown Griffiths are all cut from the same cloth . and lustig wasn’t far behind .
But there’s posters on here who say our staff are just as bad . using the mock huddle as proof lolπŸ₯΄.

27 Jan 2021 18:32:03
Has their been any more information on the young Colombian alegria. Seems to have went quiet. Not saying he's comimg here i would love him too however fantastic young player with huge potential. Love to see him link up with his fellow Colombian international el Buffalo πŸ’™β€πŸ’™β€πŸ’™.

1.) 27 Jan 2021 19:08:22
Broxxibear, I agree, however even at a young age I think he might be looking for 1st team football.
He won't get that here? Maybe Belgium, Holland would give him what he wants.

2.) 27 Jan 2021 20:34:07
U may be right however if he outplays the other strikers in training i'm sure he would get a chance. Stevie G says u have to earn your place so don't think age would come into it if he turns out a goal machine beating big sheggs for fun. Could do wi someone like him coming in and having a season like marco negri before he got injured.

3.) 27 Jan 2021 22:44:47
Get him have a good look pre season of not ready loan him out if good enough fight for his place with Morelos and/ or Defoe likely to not be here next season.

05 Jan 2021 09:38:18
Any truth in the rumour we are interested in dembele from Peterborough karamokes older brother. Has anyone seen him play and if he is worth a punt. Seen the rumour on football insider so may not be so accurate but just passing what i heard on n if anyone rates him good enough for us he is only 24. Might head to youtube the now have a wee look at him.

1.) 05 Jan 2021 10:06:20
Looks decent could be worth a punt depending on price be a good young no 10 can score provide play eitherside skillful. move on afew squad players we don't need. i'd give him a shot. Maybe cash on a big player at end of season then reinvest in the squad hope this young alegria deal happens aswell.

2.) 05 Jan 2021 10:09:09
Small, quick, and friend at work who is a Peterborough season ticket holder says he is ok for couple games then poor for the next couple, very inconsistent.

3.) 05 Jan 2021 10:36:22
May play well more consistent with better players around him. But we do need consistency and rangers like to do business quiety. Apparently our scouts have watched him play twice tho.

4.) 05 Jan 2021 11:34:25
Good player on Football Manager if that counts for anything.

5.) 05 Jan 2021 11:43:53
He has also put a transfer request (ssn) in as well which may be something to do with interest from the old firm.

6.) 05 Jan 2021 17:38:58
Small quick playing in the spl will just probably get kicked about then disappear in the game.

7.) 05 Jan 2021 19:23:28
His young brother karamoko has disappeared from celtics scene hasn’t he? His deals ul in the summer aswell so doesn’t look as though he has a future after all the noise we heard about him. They have been poor in the wide areas and I’m sure he plays also as a left sided attacker cutting like Kent. So if they’re wanting to bring widemen in he must be leaving.

8.) 07 Jan 2021 05:46:06
Their chairman is a fud and will expect Β£4m for a young inconsistent player with good potential who should be costing closer to Β£500k-Β£1m.

Not posted in a while so here goes.

I have a question, john25 u may be able to answer or anyone else for that matter.
I know u like to watch Rangers b team. I was curious to know how Algeria is coming along after scoring a couple of goals on his debut as a sub. Not just goal wise but his allround look/ gameplay?

Also have rangers b team played Celtics b team, How would u say we compare b team wise?
I know we have quite afew with great potential and have invested in b team. Perhaps we can have afew coming through the ranks together instead of splashing cash on multiple players. Sign 1 or 2 gems n promote from within. Wouldn't it be great to see a rangers team like man United's class of 92. Mixed in with our first team when Defoe, Itten, Davis, balogun, and a few others move on. I think Gerrard has been thinking long-term so here's hoping we can have a good quality first team with a good mix of youth from within.

Here's hoping we can also start to hit some kind of form soon. As to be honest we haven't really got going so far this season.
Onwards n up words, Godbless πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™.

1.) 12 Oct 2021 14:42:52
Hi broxi great to hear from you again.
Alegria has only played 15 minutes the day after we signed him, he has not played any minutes since.
I was told rangers were very concerned about his overall fitness and he was given a fitness programme akin to a full pre season. It appears strange he has not even made the bench since.
We have not played Celtic b team yet a game was cancelled due to amount off call ups rangers had. I feel we r better at that level based on the number off players we have in Scottish and NI age group teams.
I’m told Sg and others have identified players very close to first team squad next season, Mccrorie, mcann alegria Kelly Williamson also king, mclelland and an Irish lad mcausland
Even if three joined next season squad that would be excellent. The future at that level looks very promising.

2.) 12 Oct 2021 15:43:37
Sounds a strange one regarding alegria, fingers crossed he can produce and do what has bn asked of him. He certainly looked the part from what I seen. Hopefully its just a fitness thing n not a falling out or something of the sort as we know Gerrard doesn't really like cocky youngsters, theirs a difference between arrogance n confidence. If he was unfit I'd expect him not to get minutes until he was fit, not introduce then exclude? Time will tell. Cheers for the reply john, are we still near top of table?

3.) 12 Oct 2021 16:59:52
Broxi. No falling out as far as I know.

4.) 12 Oct 2021 17:08:40
We r forth ten points behind with three games in hand.

5.) 12 Oct 2021 17:27:36
Broxi - I think this is one of the instances where Wilson and his team deserve the credit. There's a lot of sniping on here (not from you) about his performance but the academy structure etc was his work and his vision. Fingers crossed it pays off and we see youth players integrated.

6.) 12 Oct 2021 17:53:43
Correct true blue. Wilson is doing an excellent job.

7.) 12 Oct 2021 20:12:03
Might be finding it hard to settle he’s only a boy.

8.) 12 Oct 2021 21:17:16
John if Alegria has only played 15 minutes I find it surprising that he is "very close to first team squad for next season". Not doubting your info so I'm guessing he was always bought for 1st team and never as a developer πŸ‘Œ.

9.) 12 Oct 2021 21:58:10
I’m guessing he’s in the B team to gain Fitness an understanding of how we play and get adapted to life in Scotland. Hoping to see McCann next season 🀞.

10.) 12 Oct 2021 22:18:57
He was bought as a first team player as was mcann.

Boycott Coldo post protestπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
Anyone interested in the petitionπŸ€”
God bless everyone
Big Shout out too El Buffalo πŸ‘ŒπŸ’™.

1.) 06 Sep 2021 09:31:03
Tongue and cheek it might be, but still very juvenile! What age are you?

2.) 06 Sep 2021 09:33:52
Maybe you should just try not replying to Coldo or anyone else if you don't like their posts. Would that not be more sensible as it's very easy to just scroll past.

3.) 06 Sep 2021 10:09:21
Dreary me.

4.) 06 Sep 2021 17:46:35
banter doesn't have an age BMGπŸ€ͺ
In no way did i insult him or anyone else. The comment defines the definition of banter. I was humouring myself with some of the replies to him returning and getting everyone arguing. I was actually going to put fishing rods up but u took the bait quicker thn the fish πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
A reply of what age are you is an insult implying i am childish. So your response their was more of akin to coldo. And more childish thn mine as tht is playground talk πŸ‘Œ
Mines was banterish humour. πŸ‘πŸ‘ŒπŸ’™

On a banter page may I add. πŸ€ͺπŸ’™.

5.) 07 Sep 2021 09:08:24
Oh dear! Where do I start with that response?

04 Sep 2021 11:05:50
Question for john others may be able to give input?

You watch a lot of the B team play u say. Out of all the players uv seen currently playing in the B team who do you think has the most potential of making the step up to the first team? Its possible we may need another forward with itten leaving and not being replaced. Tht only leaves us with alfie, roofe, defoe and sakala. Although i can't see defoe getting many minutes as he is getting on and will be more focussed on his coaching role. Roofe has a history of missing games through injury. So if roofe gets injured we only have sakala and el buff who can give us a full 90 mins. Do you think their is plans to add a striker from the B team given this situation? Alegria perhaps? Be too soon to say on him b team wise, but he sure looks a playerπŸ‘ŒπŸ’™

What players from other positions look a real talent?

1.) 04 Sep 2021 12:27:54
Good question!

I assume the club's plans are for B team players to go out on loan next year and be tested at a higher level? With maybe the exception of Alegria?

From the current group on loan, is there any folk think have a realistic chance of making it into the 1st team squad next year? Maxwell for instance?

2.) 04 Sep 2021 12:50:48
Algeria- to soon? Not at all. Just look at Rooney, played and scored on his debut for Everton at 16. If he's good enough, play him.

3.) 04 Sep 2021 14:28:49
Imo we have best set of 16, 17, 18 year olds in last ten years.
Devine very very good right. Back
Maxwell all day long
Like strachan 17
Weston Lowry mcausland can all score

Also will watch Williamson with interest at Livingston, martindale raves about him in training

Alegria and mcann will be first team b4 next season

High hopes for Wilson.

4.) 04 Sep 2021 14:53:14
The big question is how many get a chance under SG.

5.) 04 Sep 2021 15:50:33
BIGIKS if u read my comment mate i never said it was too soon to move him up, i was asking john about opinions on b team players n said to early to to make judgement on alegrias performances in the b team as he has only play half an hour he scored 2 goals but tht was my point. I wanted alegria signed along time ago when i first heard we were interested and researched him. I actually thought he was coming to us as a first team player. My post was basically subconsciously saying we should have alegria in first team. Without actually saying it. If u see after i wrote the bit u misinterpreted i put the question Alegria perhaps? Meaning i would john, what's your opinion. He was of same opinionπŸ‘ŒπŸ’™.

6.) 04 Sep 2021 16:47:20
Very hard to tell with the lowland league been extremely poor level. Basically junior football.

7.) 04 Sep 2021 18:28:48
Paul I’m sure u can recognise a good uyoung player.
How many times you watch them.
I’ve watched players for 62 years, been very lucky to see my son play at a high level, have two grandsons playing for epl championship teams, one was part of England under 17 and 18.
We have 16 year olds dictating games against 25 year olds that is invaluable experience,

8.) 04 Sep 2021 20:38:00
Yeah played decent level myself mate. Only 35. Few of my mates are pro footballers one of which plays EPL. Massive step up from playing lowland league/ junior level to playing even league 1. Just my opinion. Hard to judge playing v who there playing.

9.) 04 Sep 2021 23:44:46
Plan to go up the road next Saturday to see the B team play Bonnyrigg, who should I be looking out for?

10.) 05 Sep 2021 10:07:37
Scrambled not being funny look out for them all and come back and give us your opinions.
I hope u get to see Alegria, mccuusland.

11.) 05 Sep 2021 10:12:20
I worry about roofe getting injured as we don't have any other prolific strikers. Hopefully he stays fit, I think roofe will be very important this year. πŸ‘.

12.) 05 Sep 2021 14:48:56
Wrong again coldo πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚19 goals in 37 games for roofe. Alfredo who you love to hate isn't doing badly either. 97 goals in 180 games.

13.) 05 Sep 2021 16:10:36
Paul he is only trying to stir it a provoke argument. I have decided to just ignore.

30 Aug 2021 19:03:07
Starfish was all at sea for Hellanders goal πŸ‘ŒπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™.

1.) 30 Aug 2021 20:25:51
They are saying he is still too come out his shell.

2.) 30 Aug 2021 22:16:22
He has the makings of Duffy v2 for me.

3.) 30 Aug 2021 23:33:32
He was all over the plaice.

4.) 31 Aug 2021 05:29:24
Heard he was out at the dancing the night before the game and pulled a mussel πŸ˜„.

25 Aug 2021 11:56:41
MPH this what u say from 2018-2021

13 signings success rate 5-38%
9 signings success rate 4-44%
9 signings success rate 7-77%

Don't know how u managed to come out with your overall success rate from them guesstimations MPH

if u add up all the lower-end of your estimates over the first 3 transfer windows it has an average success rate of 5.333 %. Their is a massive difference in margine between your lower estimates and higher estimates. Also your highest estimate was 77% so when added to your other 2 biggest estimates of 44% and 38% it averages at 53%.

So your actual estimates of signing success rate in first 3 windows was ranging from 5.33% - 53%. That is a huge difference from your lower estimates to your higher estimates.
Thts a difference of 1 in 20 signings being successful or 1 in 2 players signed being successful?
Not exactly sure this is good or accurate scale to use or how u even come to these figures, what strategy was used to come to these figures?

Here is a question for you MPH, How many players have rangers signed since Steven Gerrard joined Rangers, is it 31 like u said?

1.) 25 Aug 2021 12:54:23
I would change the battery in your calculator Broxxibear?!
In my opinion, 5 signings out of 13 were successful in the 2018/ 2019 season.
Success rate of 38%
In my opinion, 4 signings out of 9 were successful in the 2019/ 2020 season.
Success rate of 44%
In my opinion, 7 signings out of 9 were successful in the 2020/ 2021 season.
Success rate of 77%
Overall in his first 3 seasons 16 signings out of 32 were successful. Rate of 50%.
Now when you need to sign the volume of players we did, you aren’t going to be 100% successful.
But Gerrard and Co. have increased there success rate year on year.
This season we have signed Lundstram, Sakala, Bacuna and Ofobhorh.
I think we need to give them a bit more time to see how successful they will be.
There is also time for Simpson, Katic and Itten to come good.
In total Gerrard has signed 36 players. We have also let 42 players leave the club.

2.) 25 Aug 2021 13:02:50
Ahh, I get your stat figures now. Cool.

3.) 25 Aug 2021 13:44:52
Big big word here is OPinion.

4.) 25 Aug 2021 14:50:32
Mph its your calculator. Look at the 3 lowest figures u gave then give me the average of them. U did not give an exact figure, u gave a range of figures, FACT! and the lowest average figure u gave was what i stated. Add them up divide by 3 u get 5.33. 5+4+7 equals 16. 16 divided by 3 equals 5.333 tht was your lowest estimations not mine. U did not give an exact figure. U said between this amount and this amount. I added up your lowest amount to get your lowest guesstimate. What i wrote is correct according to the range u gave. If tht is what u thought state the number. Not a RANGE. I merely stated your lowest average. πŸ‘ŒπŸ’™.

5.) 25 Aug 2021 15:03:17
Correct Molsgoals, that's why I put the word in.
But I bet you would be not far away from my choices as successes or failing to hit the mark?

6.) 25 Aug 2021 16:35:57
You are getting your figures all mixed up Broxxi?
If I'm saying 16 over 3 years have been a success out of 32 over 3 years then that is 50% success rate ( 16 divided by 32 x 100 ) .
You are working out the mean, not the percentageπŸ‘.

7.) 25 Aug 2021 17:39:24
Yes i was working out lowest average per year. πŸ‘.

I would love veerman as well but if we can sign him in January I would go for him, what if he has a season where he is a lot more influential n scores more goal n assists and is a standout. His price will no longer be what it was and possibly bigger champions league clubs would be interested. I know its all if and buts However I believe we may have missed out here and personally I would rather have signed him start of season, And not done some of the early season pre contracts. Gave more youth a chance. I understand the financial situation however so it's high risk. Some of the players we signed are not good enough or as good as thought would be. However This is always going to be the case with any signing, some shine n some don't. It's always a gamble, but when u don't have money to throw around u have to make sure who u bring in will do a job. Sometimes signing a standout player, even just one with no other signings it can improve the quality of the whole team. Football is largely confidence based and one great player can bring out the best in other players who didn't look as good and inspire them n make others jobs easier as they know and have confidence in the quality of player they are playing with. Instead of signings 3 or 4 players who are not first team regulars. We did not need a lot of players added we were world record beaters last season. We just had to trim the squad n add a standout first team player who can improve what we were already building. Do you think theirs a chance we could possibly dip into the loan market in January?

Just read this, honestly would be a shame if u stopped posting john, I've stopped posting possibly for few months now the infighting between fans that are supposed to be found uniting as one got too much for me. Crazy thing is I even found myself getting dragged into it myself. So I thought enough is enough. Not sure who or what made u consider not posting but believe u are valuable to this site mate πŸ‘Œ Keep up the good work John, One Love Godbless πŸ΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ ΏπŸ’™πŸ΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ Ώ.

Sure beale said his ambition is to go back to south america and manage if i remember correctly. Would be a good replacement if gerrard moved on with an attractive no2, Gerrard may like to take him with him you never know. He definitely has the knowledge, great guy πŸ‘ŒπŸ’™.

Think you should think before you type I proposed a question never said u said it, Stormpoop back at me again lol. That's why you said they were poor because rangers performed well n dominated, resulting in us winning game. Don't see the need to point out our opposition are poor after a good result. Devalues everything we did. Only a critical thinker would realise this πŸ‘Œ.

Hopefully this can be us rediscovering our form of last year. Think I've noticed abit of hunger and passion missing. Players are always hungry to perform on the biggest stage. You always see players giving 100% effort 99% of the time in Europe. We need to transfer this hunger and desire into the SPL because their is no doubt we are not lacking the quality. If teams are quite evenly matched it usually comes down to the team that wants it more. Sometimes hard when their is 10 men behind the ball, which doesn't happen in Europe, teams attack n we can open them up. We need to go back to the same philosophy as last yr. Stevie G would always say that's just one game,3 points, we won't be looking any further forward than our next game. Every game was a cup final, as everyone of us were focussed on achieving the magical 55. If its not broke don't fix it. Obv make some adjustments but always have the same hunger, passion and desire, fight for every ball. I also disagree brondby cannot be a poor side as their is no easy game in Europe, and that's without looking or knowing anything about them. If they have gotten this far in the comp they cannot be poor. Perhaps not as good as lyon and others but definitely not poor. Could beat decent teams on their day. Hopefully this is us kicking into gear. Stevie G should be using this game as a bench mark for the player performance. Onwards n upwards πŸ’™.
