We're all gutted about the result last night but we all saw how good a game calvin bassey had He's developing into a terrific left back/ left centre half and is a machine Going forward i honestly don't know yet if left back or left centre half will be calvin bassey's best/ no.1 position So what do we all think fellow bears, do we reckon going forward will bassey's best position be left back or left centre half Would you be so kind to run a poll on this ED, if you don't mind pal, much appreciated The poll being what will be calvin bassey's best position going forward,

I guess Sir Walter it’s not really important if he’s excellent at both and I do think he’s excellent at both. His heading is getting better each game.

bassey is the only player we have that could easily command a fee upwards of 20m this summer, would be surprised if no bids are made for him this summer, that being said we need to keep him for as long as he is happy here!

I have to agree with bar72 the vultures from the EPL ate already onto Bassey and after his display on Wednesday i am reliably informed that 4 teams are preparing to put forward offers in region of £8 million to Rangers and a wage increase 8 times what he is on now .

John25 i agree he is worth more but that's what i am told the 4 clubs are going to offer - once again trying to get us to sell on the cheap that's the north and south divide in football terms and i have to say i could see the board selling for a figure like that as it is all pure profit unfortunately .
