Ridvan would suit a league that is more technical, he definitely has the talent, Still young with plenty potential, German league would suit him well John.
Plenty Turks in the German league, and suburbs with healthy Turkish populations, so will be easier for him to settle in while continuing his European adventure, plenty time for him to go back to the Turkish league to play for one the big clubs there.
If he can stay fit, good future for him at the right club.

I’ve just been told that we have no interested at all in Kevin van Veen. His destination is more than likely Aberdeen if Miovski is sold. Not sure how solid the rumour is but I thought I’d pass it on. I’ll be glad if this ends up true, our sights should be higher although I accept that he’d possibly fill a hole until the summer.
In other news I’ve just bet a friend £50 that dresses will score more league goals that Kyogo. I honestly think Dessers will end up with 20+ and he’s starting to find some form.

They reckoned that FC Copenhagen were also interested in Olsen and that he would not be allowed to leave Bologna on loan this month. That's apparently what the selling club are looking for, we start with a lower bid, test the water, and if Bologna need the money and there isn't much of a bidding war they'll either accept a bid slightly less than their asking price or have an unhappy player on their hands until summer at least. A clubs asking price and the actual price of a transfer are more often than not two different numbers.

If we do sign him then I’m serious about my previous statement on who is signing these players.
If we sign him we’ll need to change our style to get the best out of him, I’m not sure PC will fancy that.

Out with Fridays last night, I can’t not believe the amount of work I had to put in regarding Coner Barron. So many disappointing comments of him and Jefte not being good enough, bring nothing to the first team.
Some people must watch different games from me, Barron has been good in my opinion and I expect will continue to grow as the season progresses, I honestly think we’ve won a watch with him.
As for Jefte, he had a tough day at the office yesterday when playing against a cracking winger. Young boy, new club, new country etc… I hope we let him find his feet before casting our judgement, he’s not a seasoned pro.

I think Connor Barron looks like a good player he seems to be the type that will develop well. As said above he will grow once he gets used to players about him etc. I’ve already stated I’m not so sure about Jefte . he needs time etc but early signs show he’s not great at defending perhaps it’s nerves or experience, nerves can calm and experience can grow. However that’s my opinion. Not toxic or negative etc just an opinion which can be proven wrong over time. Lots had their opinions on Tav and Borna not being above to defend. Well every rangers player is up for the same scrutiny. They know this when they put the shirt on.

When we were being heavily linked with Kenny McLean a few weeks ago, I questioned if this guy would honestly be a PC signing? A few of the usual suspects became a little arsey and started questioning my thought process, starting that Koppen had reinvigorated our scouting network and i’m way off questioning this.
Fast forward a few weeks and we’re now linked with Whittaker And Campbell, two players who we’ve been linked with in previous seasons with previous managers and DOF.
To add to this, we had also been watching both Diomande and Coates for years before signing them under PC.
Now I get this might be paper rubbish but, if they do sign, who is actually in charge of the signings? Could this also be what PC is also referring to when he discusses expectations back in October?
This isn’t a dig at the players themselves, Whittaker in particular looks a very good player, just more in relation to who is calling the shots.

When a new manager / DoF comes in they don't put all that hard work in the bin - it gets handed over and the new team decide if the players merit further monitoring and they start to add their own input / insight in to the future monitoring/ scouting.

I think any player we have spent time on be it scouting or what have you, will be kept on file.
This could be players soon running out on contract or guys we have watched that weren't quite ready to make the step up or the financials at time weren't suitable for all parties.
Whatever it may be u don't just bin all that info and it would only be natural to follow players in your financial bracket, those you have collated info about etc.
Every club watches a plethora of players. This is normal.

You can’t doubt him off the back of a testimonial, his hands are tired until players move, this isn’t in his remit to control.
We don’t have a style of play just now, but I’m hopeful if we have 4 or 5 new first team players who PC has picked then this will change.
