There’s some noise on Twitter that Bazoer will not be joining Marseille, the Marseille does not wait him. I’m not saying it’s true or that he’s coming to Rangers but he would be a great player to have in our team.
1.) 11 Jul 2022 22:43:08
I'm not saying he's not a great player but why is none of the sides in the bigger leagues want him?
2.) 11 Jul 2022 23:12:01
I’ve watched Bazoer a few times ironically it’s when we were scooting Doekhi and from what I saw Bazoer was the better more rounded player,
Would be a major steal getting this lad in the door to partner Goldson.
3.) 11 Jul 2022 23:40:49
I think there was some concerns with his attitude earlier in his career? I wouldn’t honestly care if the bigger leagues didn’t take him, I suspect he’d breeze the SPL.
4.) 12 Jul 2022 05:00:34
Bazoer is solid and great passing out from the back would fit gios three at the back perfectly being able to bring ball out and drop back when required.
5.) 12 Jul 2022 09:21:13
Yeah has been his attitude - we went to Germany for £12m earlier in his career.
If he has his head screwed on now would be a great signing however.
6.) 12 Jul 2022 12:31:15
We also could have the upper hand in negotiations as he came through the Ajax system when Davie Vos was there. For me he would instantly be the best CB in the country and would be on par with us landing Boumsong years ago. Very highly regarded by the scouts I know.
11 Jul 2022 17:20:50
Rumours of Twitter that were about to sign Connor Young from Hibs. No doubt for the under 18’s / b-team. He scored 25 goals for Hibs under 18’s last season.
1.) 11 Jul 2022 17:55:22
That’s who was photographed at Ibrox at the weekend. Hibs U18s are probably the top U18 side in the country.
2.) 11 Jul 2022 17:55:55
Dado seen this boy play. He’s ok player.
3.) 11 Jul 2022 18:05:28
I guess he’s worth a look John for a few seasons, 25 goals is pretty good. Yeah Copland I heard they won the under 18’s.
Anybody heard about the boy Rice? Are we going to bid more for him or is he away to Celtic?
4.) 11 Jul 2022 18:07:13
It just goes to show the development as they weren't that good coming through until u16's.
5.) 11 Jul 2022 18:27:28
Dado, yep, best player at hibs is Gary O’Connor boy
I assume u r mixing up Bailey rice with Dylan Reid
We have signed rice, I hope we get Reid
Rice scored for academy on his debut as did three other debutants.
6.) 11 Jul 2022 18:43:22
Hibs have always had good youth setup to be fair.
7.) 11 Jul 2022 18:51:54
Dado we signed rice from
Motherwell it’s Dylan Reid from
St mirren.
8.) 11 Jul 2022 18:58:58
Yeah sorry guys, we’re signing that many kids that I got mixed up.
Do you think we’ve still got a chance of getting him?
9.) 11 Jul 2022 19:27:55
If we match Celtics bid we’ll get him. Family full of rangers fans.
10.) 11 Jul 2022 19:45:17
John have you seen much of the boy Laidlaw much in the same squad as O’Connor and Young? Couple of Hibs fans I know see him as being the next Steven Fletcher.
11.) 11 Jul 2022 20:09:38
Copland Ethan laidlaw top player.
12.) 11 Jul 2022 20:33:44
Looks like this is the lad that was pictured in the directors box at Ibrox a few days ago.
Some were saying it was James McAtee.
13.) 11 Jul 2022 21:27:42
Yeah John seen him a few times for the Scotland u17s, just wondered your thoughts on him as the Hibs fans I know see O’Connor the worst out of they 3 youngsters.
14.) 11 Jul 2022 21:44:41
Definitely boy pictured the other night at ibrox. Also now confirmed.
15.) 12 Jul 2022 11:46:17
Copland he is good player, May be playing off fathers reputation.
07 Jan 2022 07:05:17
Some reports (not sure how true these are) suggesting that bologna are waiting up to £8m for Olsen with no loan to buy option. If that’s the case then it’s tough to see us spending that just now. I hope these reports are wide of the mark but who knows during the January window.
1.) 07 Jan 2022 07:39:25
If that's the case Dado, we can't in my opinion compete with that.
Move on find another young player in the 5 mill range, seems be our limit.
2.) 07 Jan 2022 08:54:35
I agree BAR72, as much as i want skov olsen at rangers £8million at this stage is way too much for us imo🤔Ah well, we'll just have to move on😞.
3.) 07 Jan 2022 09:29:02
If true 8m out of our price range, sure I read couple weeks ago the young boy from anderlecht we were looking had around 3.6m buyout clause more our price range if Olsen doesn't happen for us.
4.) 07 Jan 2022 09:36:24
It may well be but more often than not these are made in instalments, similar to Kent. So I wouldn’t rule anything out, although it certainly suggests it’s more unlikely, from what I understand Bologna need the money, so who knows.
5.) 07 Jan 2022 09:53:05
£8m too much regardless of payment profile for me. we need players we can sell at a profit and £8m means we would need a huge fee to make anything. I think would be a great signing at the right price however.
6.) 07 Jan 2022 10:12:44
They can ask what they want it is if anyone will pay that. That fee is too much for a player that has not had a great season and wants to leave.
7.) 07 Jan 2022 10:16:18
How is it hendo.
6 goals in his five World Cup qualifying plus 4 assists.
8.) 07 Jan 2022 10:41:06
We ain't selling Patterson and punting most of the money back on a right winger. Makes absolutely no business sense whatsoever.
9.) 07 Jan 2022 10:46:40
I’ll make a bold claim they ain’t getting 8 million for Olsen 😂😂.
10.) 07 Jan 2022 10:54:33
What's your take on it John25,do you think we'll still sign skov olsen mate🤔.
11.) 07 Jan 2022 11:35:38
I doubt very much we will spend 8m on a player? Also, the 8m might be with add ons etc, which we might agree to. For example, winning league this season and reaching CL proper. That would guarantee the sort of money that we could spend 8m on a single player. At this moment, we have no idea how much they want for the player, how much we can afford, or, in fact, If we are actually in for him?!
12.) 07 Jan 2022 11:50:22
I would be suprised if they were looking for 8m for him. He’s not been playing regularly for them and he has admitted he is struggling there. I would think they would be prepared to accept around 5m. Or as close to what they paid for him!
13.) 07 Jan 2022 12:21:00
A bid of €8M makes more sense from the figures that have been circulated. Out of all the players that we have been linked with he excites me the most and we have been crying out for a natural RS Fwd for a while.
14.) 07 Jan 2022 13:06:28
That’s about 6.6 million in English pounds.
15.) 07 Jan 2022 13:10:26
S cov Olsen being used as wing back in Italy hence his stats this season. Look at his stats for Denmark! The boys a player no doubt about that!
16.) 07 Jan 2022 13:37:55
The reports suggested £8m not euros. I don’t think (or Suggesting) we’ll pay that sort of money. I think this will just be part of the game we’ll need to play if we are in for him - I’m not even sure we are. I remember when clubs were looking at Hickey bids were being reported around £4 then they wanted £12m…. let’s just see what happens.
17.) 07 Jan 2022 13:52:21
8s not to much, we paid 7 for Kent who couldn’t get a game for Bristol city, Olsen was in the semi final of the euros 😂.
18.) 07 Jan 2022 13:55:29
Walter time will tell.
19.) 07 Jan 2022 14:35:51
Guys, I posted something similar yesterday that came from folks I know in Copenhagen. The comments came from folks that used to work for me in the Financial Services Sector, (not Football Sector) . They reckoned that FC Copenhagen were also interested in Olsen and that he would not be allowed to leave Bologna on loan this month. If he is to leave then it would be a permanent transfer and the price would need to be more than €7m. This is Business guys commenting, not football guys!
20.) 07 Jan 2022 15:04:23
I think spending €8 million on a starter for his country heding to the world Cup is worth the gamble.
If he nd Denmark have a good WC in December then his stock will quadruple. Also would be playing CL should we win league. Its worth the gamble imo.
21.) 07 Jan 2022 16:09:28
You can't expect clubs to take Bologna serious the buy the guy for 5.5 million euro roughly andd after 2 years have pretty much set his club career back to zero as well as risk his national standing. They can't then expect to get 8 million pounds Italian teams always so this the big front offer them 3 million up front and 2 in instalments take it or leave it . Copenhagen not going to pay anywhere near that and he don't think they would accept Turkish bod as they never pay on time or sometimes even pay at all.
22.) 07 Jan 2022 16:10:38
NRD if that GAMBLE you want to take then offer could be insentive or sell on based.
23.) 07 Jan 2022 16:52:38
Only reports I have seen said between 7-8 million euros.
24.) 07 Jan 2022 17:50:18
That's apparently what the selling club are looking for, we start with a lower bid, test the water, and if Bologna need the money and there isn't much of a bidding war they'll either accept a bid slightly less than their asking price or have an unhappy player on their hands until summer at least. A clubs asking price and the actual price of a transfer are more often than not two different numbers.
25.) 07 Jan 2022 18:07:24
They seem to be in for Ramsey of Aberdeen so can’t need the money that much.
26.) 07 Jan 2022 18:52:19
How many times have we been told we don’t need to sell, so by same account we could spend on one player. I’m not saying we will.
Skov is a cracking player and if both Laudrups back that up then 8m euros wouldn’t be ridiculous.
I don’t think 8m will be the figure particularly if it’s us Copenhagen and Hoffenhiem looking. Although the Germans may very well have that kind of money.

Surely to god nobody can offer any defence of Dessers and Lammers, we must look to move them on, both are absolutely awful.
I’m so glad of the three points today, this might (big might) have an impact on who wins the league.
1.) 29 Oct 2023 18:40:28
Dado I have 2 suggestions either give them a loooong rest or show them the door.
2.) 29 oct 2023 18:41:29
they haven't set the heather on fire that's for sure but they're not alone in that respect
im beginning to get confused with cantwell myself, talent yes, purpose, not certain, giving me same vibe as kent did, , just seems to constantly run into a blind alley, , he's the kind of player who can dribble anyone, but winners have an end product, i'm waiting for todd to show his, dessers and lammers weren't the only poor performance, but we got lucky in the end and deserved it.
3.) 29 Oct 2023 18:47:42
Tom, Cantwell is a much better player than Kent.
4.) 29 Oct 2023 18:52:01
I agree with that Tom, I’ve not heard the saying set the heather on fire for years, love it!
5.) 29 Oct 2023 19:00:11
TT12, Cantwell's a bit of an enigma Tom, he promises a lot but has delivered very little this far, I think he's talented though, and we should persevere with him. Guys, I thought Lundstrum was very good today again, keep it up big man.
6.) 29 Oct 2023 19:04:42
Dessers would lose PC his job. My opinion of him gets lower every game its almost like its a prank that he plays.
Lammers will never score goals. Just need to see this out until January and still be in the mix. There is a long list who should be sold and Dessers has risen to the top of that. Horrendous signing.
7.) 29 oct 2023 20:22:27
absolutely agree irv, mark, he's still running into blind alleys all game.
8.) 29 Oct 2023 22:47:59
Nonsense about cantwell, he's a player. Tries hard, has good skill and vision. Already delivered more in 10 months than Kent in 2 years. As for Tav, get a grip, he's contributed more than any player in 10 years. Today's 2nd pen was class, if anybody ever taken a pen in front of a crowd let alone 50,000, then ill hear your thoughts, it's bad enough teeing off at the 1st in front of 20 guys, Tav deserves a bit more respect.
9.) 30 Oct 2023 03:25:32
Cantwell coming back from injury. Was the only one at points yesterday with any drive.
29 Oct 2023 14:13:55
Actually lost for words with that line up.
1.) 29 Oct 2023 14:19:05
Who thinks nos Clement has no idea what is doing?
Someone needs to sign him up to these pages so he can pick the right team?????.
2.) 29 Oct 2023 14:34:26
He said the other day that this will be the team for the next few weeks until everyone is fit. He won’t play players if they aren’t fit to play 90 minutes from the start.
3.) 29 Oct 2023 14:35:47
There is just a remote chance that PC knows better how to pick a team than armchair pundits on here.
4.) 29 Oct 2023 14:37:57
What did you want him to do?
5.) 29 Oct 2023 14:41:01
I wasn’t having a go at the manager, I’m still lost for words that those two numb nuts are getting a game. That’s more a Beale problem. I’m guessing it’s the time of the month for a few people on here?
6.) 29 Oct 2023 14:49:51
Not keen on Dessers and Lammers starting but the boss obviously thinks Danilo is not fit to start and options are limited so he doesn`t have much choice. On a positive note we did score 4 last week with the two of them playing so we can but hope.
7.) 29 Oct 2023 14:53:28
thats prob as good as we got fit he needs the players he puts on the field to show what they are all about.
8.) 29 Oct 2023 14:54:37
So danilo not 100% so both dessers and lammers start are our youngsters not up to scratch to dislodge them? How bad are they others? Or they not fit either?
9.) 29 Oct 2023 14:56:31
Fitness issues for a number of players have been flagged up by PC, I don't think he has much choice at the minute.
Just hope those that play have the legs after Thursdays shift.
10.) 29 Oct 2023 15:03:19
Good to see Dowell available again.
11.) 29 Oct 2023 15:35:56
Lammers and Dessers are not good enough for Rangers, They just don't get it, playing for Rangers requires heart and something special in the blood, They two don't possess what is required of a Rangers player. time to cut our losses.
14 Oct 2023 10:03:23
Was there any update on Lovelace injury? I’m guessing it wasn’t as bad as first thought or we would have heard?
The boy looks like he’s something to offer, I’m hoping we see more of him with a better manager at the helm.
1.) 14 Oct 2023 10:27:38
Yes, fingers crossed Dado, tha5vthe youth get a chance.
2.) 14 Oct 2023 10:36:22
I’d say at the minimum he’ll be out til December but I think he’d be lucky to be back by the new year.
3.) 14 Oct 2023 11:20:58
Dado the lad lovelacesince we signed him has had four muscle injuries similar to st mirren one, he has normally returned within 14 days, so fingers ctossed.
4.) 14 Oct 2023 11:46:07
A young boy with something to offer!
AT IBROX!
It will never catch on. ?.
5.) 14 Oct 2023 12:56:56
Cheers Guys and thanks for the info John.
@MHP - yeah fingers crossed, we have some real promising players and with the right manager some of them will make it, I’m sure of it.
6.) 14 oct 2023 14:19:42
he must be prone to muscle injury then john, that could worsen over a few seasons, hopefully just a blip here.
7.) 14 Oct 2023 14:38:36
If Lovelace was to be out for a while we would have been advised of it, as such John is probably correct in his 14 day assessment, after all he was free standing at the end of the game, so that was a positive sign for me.
03 Oct 2023 17:52:54
‘plays fast attacking pressing football dado. ’ music to my ears if it is Muscat Stormtrooper.
Might not be him but my gut feels things are shaping up for it to be Muscat, we’ll find out in time.
1.) 03 Oct 2023 18:12:37
I’ve a gut feeling it’s going to be Muscat . I’ve only heard 1 negative about him and that was his spell in Belgium . Lots of positive’s about him from Pep Guardiola and big Ange, plus he’s only got 2months left on his contract in the land of the red chapati, so virtually no compo payments to be shelled out but as you said Dado we’ll have to wait &see, he’s got my vote if I had one .
2.) 03 Oct 2023 18:29:53
Another choice that doesn’t do it for me, Pep blew smoke up his arse because they share the same sugar daddies, Ange likewise because he’s an Australian
Was a psychopath footballer not for me.
3.) 03 Oct 2023 18:36:15
He was poor in Belgium that’s for sure.
Dado where did you see he plays slow boring football as I haven’t seen that anywhere about Muscat.
4.) 03 Oct 2023 18:40:27
Looking at Muscats history, I think he'd do a good job for us, and knows a bit about Rangersand Ibrox.
5.) 03 Oct 2023 18:51:41
I’m sure it was on the rumours page Storm, I’ll have a look now but I’m sure the person was giving a direct quote.
6.) 03 Oct 2023 18:57:42
Posted by Ibrox and backed by John on the rumours page. Not calling these guys out in anyway shape or form, just saying where I read it. We’ll see if it happens or not.
I stand by my comment, slow possession based football is tough to deliver week in and week out in the SPL (in my opinion)
7.) 03 Oct 2023 19:04:13
Didn’t Muscat only win things after inheriting Anges teams both in Australia and Japan?
And whilst he was his own man in Belgium he flopped?
8.) 03 Oct 2023 19:14:05
Not sure MPH, 100% flopped in Belgium but don’t know the circumstances around his other employment.
9.) 03 Oct 2023 20:00:44
I don't want Muscat, not sure he'd be any better than Beale.
03 Oct 2023 06:14:13
Kris Boyd take a bow son, cracking well balanced article today about Beale and the position we find ourselves in.
09 Dec 2023 11:43:24
I don’t disagree with some of the comments but my only worry would be, could you imagine what our midfield would play like without him? 1 in 4 games Jack, Cifu missing more than he plays. 2 games ever 3 month in Lawrence? Raskin, remember him?
JL plays pretty much every week and generally gives his all.
25 Nov 2023 07:57:09
Good news on MacAusland if he does sign.
22 Nov 2023 22:42:33
I thought there was a rumour that Brighton couldn’t get a work permit for him?
I always assumed we’d be a stepping stone to the EPL for him.
03 Nov 2023 06:06:36
I’ve not seen much of him in all honestly but I know he’s highly rated. Given he’s on a free transfer at the end of this season then it’s a no brainer and could be a great long term replacement for Jack.
01 Nov 2023 14:05:34
Interesting that he’s been called up to previous England under 16’s and 17’s squads. Have you seen much of him John!
10 Dec 2023 15:36:19
I was sure he was off mate, I thought the rule was related to both legs being off the ground in a stamping motion?
10 Dec 2023 09:29:08
I don’t understand why pull a players shirt isn’t a yellow card? 3 Dundee players got away with a booking for BB to get booked for a similar incident.
Hearts were the same mid week, this is a genuine question, have the rules changed?
As for the red, stupid tackle, it’s his own poor touch that puts him in that situation in the first place. I don’t think he’s trying to hurt the player but it is a red in my opinion. I actually think having him suspended for the final might work in our favour but his not a great player.
I’m other news, I actually thought Dessers played well (but don’t tell anybody I said that ;-) )
09 Dec 2023 11:47:51
I reckon we’ll need to put up with Dessers for 60 minutes, hopefully Roofe or Matondo come on then.
Should be easy game but most will love played with ten players.
I’ll go 2-0 with Tav to score anytime. 16/ 1.
07 Dec 2023 23:10:36
We’re unbeaten under PC?
03 Dec 2023 11:31:20
Could be a shout Roofe and I don’t disagree in the slightest. I actually think the fans would be more patient if the kids had drawn 1-1 on Thursday. Most the frustrations is watching professionals who either aren’t good enough or aren’t trying.
