Who's the best player in the spl outwith the old firm?

Who and would you sign him for Rangers?

I can think of a few of the best players I’ve seen agaisnt us recently, Gordon at Hearts, Nesbit and Boyle at Hibs, young Levitt and Dundee Utd. If I was to choose one player in Scotland to sign for us right now, based on current form would probably be Nesbit. The boy knows where the goal is. Do I think he’s good enough to be our number 1 striker, probably not but a good option to have.

Barron from the sheep looks a prospect. I might get pelters for this but I always liked the look of Baningime at Hearts. He's been injured for a while but high energy and likes to put his foot in.

S Fletcher obviously to old now but the best cf in spl that's not with us or them, he doesn't get many goals but the position he takes up and the cb always know their in a fight with him, link up still top class, seen S Kelly got a couple yesterday and watched last night couple of nice finishes hope we don't regret letting him go cracking wee player and likes getting stuck in, but getting impressed more with Nisbet, Levitt like him, saying that poor last week but everyone has off days.1 Nisbet 2 Levitt 3 young boy Neilson from hearts reckon they have a player in him or there lb
he sometimes play lcb can't mind his name now but very good player. choice between Nisbet or Shankland Nisbet everyday.

But the question you ask who’s the best player out with old firm
If it’s strikers then stats don’t like shankland sitting with 15 goals so far whether it’s penalty’s or not he can only do what’s asked of him and if a penalty is awarded he’s scores them along with goals from open play 15 is a great tally for the lad playing in Dundee Utd team
maybe he could do better around a team who attacks more and has better creative players feeding him?

Also agree with Trueblue Barron is doing well and would be a good signing only if we mangers to give him games and the lad progressed would be a good few involved moving him on in a few years also

Not sure how much Aberdeen would. Want for him right now though

We missed out on Calvin ramsay last year could have been a shroud but if business.

Ryan porteous I know a lot on here don’t like him but he knows how to put a challenge in and I think under the right manager he will become a good player with a possibly a Good sell on fee if we could get him on a pre contract?

John that would probably be the best signing, never thought about him not seen him very often but you don't get liked with epl if you can't play, especially at 16.

Fletcher is still a player now great for the d utd team that is what they focus on him winning headers and bringing other players in, so he is still great for that utd team. did 1 pick him bigben?

Beale, there's no denying he was a very good player back in the day, but nowhere near that now. And as you pointed out, he doesn't score much nowadays. If we are to win the league back, we need CF's who can score 20 plus a season. What I will say, though, is that he's still one of the cleverest players in the league, and that type of class never leaves a player.

Big ben if you asked all the defenders in our league who was the cf that gave you had most bother with not many would say different from me. outside us and them. again only my opinion on this.

I agree Beale, he must be a bloody nightmare to play against, but we need a cf who scores goal. And plenty of them. Just my opinion.
Everybody has a right to their own opinion, but what the reason for the Colak pile on from some fans? Yes, he doesn't involve himself in a game like Alfie, but he's still a fantastic cf. I'm a big fan of Nisbit, but is he better than Colak?

I like the boy Duk from the sheep and Josh Campbell from Hibs looks a good talent too (bags of energy from mid) .

Me personally believe Nisbet is a better player his goals are on a par with Colak but he gets involved in the game far more than Colak does.
