Is anyone hearing that Tim Iroegbunam was at Auchenhowie yesterday along with Dowell? It's being reported on other fans forums that he was, and might be signing.
Also, I see Tillman has updated his Instagram with an image of him in a Rangers top. Might mean nothing?!

I done a bit of reading on this Tim Iroegbunam and he sounds like a good player, and someone Beale really rates. Beale said he trained with the first-steam at Villa and has the potential to be an EPL level player. Beale said he can play as a 6 or an 8. It was also Beale who took him to QPR on loan before he left.
The lad himself is 6’2 and is a big physical 19 year old. He said he loves getting stuck in and would rather prevent a goal than score one.
The problem is, Villa know his potential and have him on a contract until 2027. Would they really be prepared to let him go? I doubt it. On loan maybe but that’s about it.

I hate to say it, but Dowell is a massive risk! We seem to have a habit of signing quality players, who all have horrific injury issues, in the blind hope they're over the worst of it and will go on to be a success. It hasn't worked, so far!

This is from a Norwich fan on another forum.
Dowell is a very talented footballer and great from dead balls. He was Norwich's best player up until he got injured, and only played 65 games over 3 seasons because of injuries. His 2 main injuries were his ankle, which required surgery (kept him out for 91 days), and a knee ligament injury (6 weeks out), which is his latest injury.
So, please tell me, how is this boy not a risk? cannot wait for some of the answers! ??
The boy has obvious talent, but so did Roofe, Helander, Jack and Souttar, but just like Dowell, every one of them had well documented injury issues.

For 2 mill tops that us sorted with a very talented solid keeper that has got years left in him at only 27 guy could play for the next decade for us, of we could sell him on after a few great seasons.

My honest opinion is we need to find a good young keeper as back up to McCrorie. He has played well in 2 tense old firm games. We gave Goram and McGregor a chance at some point and look how they turned out…both blue through and through. McCrorie could be the next best Gers keeper.

Orange, I don't watch Greek football, but when we're linked with a player, sometimes I look them up online, as Big Ben had posted his stats are good, I'm reading as many as 10 clubs are in for him, that would indicate that other clubs rate him, who knows whether he'll be any good if we sign him, Itten looked a good signing, a Swiss international, we all know how he turned out, I'd rather sign players like palma than any player from the spl.

Why is there so many waxing lyrical about Lammers? What do some see in him? Why do some think he is special?

Out of the last 3 seasons, the only one we should use as our benchmark is the 55 one when we won the league. Taking that into consideration, and judging our top players during that campaign, is our new recruits better, worse, or on a par with the ones who have left, or will not play for the club again? Have we replaced McGregor, Davis, Kent, Helander and Morelos with better players? Worse player? Or on a par with players?
I know it's difficult to really give a definitive answer just now as we really don't have that much to go on, so I'm only looking for a general opinion?!
Is any of our new strikers better than Morelos? Is Butland better than McGregor? Is Lammers or Sima better than Kent? Have we a better defender than Helander in the team? We could really only use Souttar here, or Trusty if he signs, for the Helander question.

the thing is ben, winning mentality, rangers had players as good as celtic, but celtic stepped up with ange and rangers players accepted being second, or couldn't find a way to win again, the 55 season was unique in how it played out, it was the following season we were left beind, up untill only a few weeks agop we still had kent/ morelos, and connor and tav are still here, this was tha major elements of our team, they didt rise up to the challenge celtic put . imo its time to clear the defence now and if were serious about a rebuilt the we need to sell before its too late . and build a new defence.

As for the friendly games? Nothing in them, we played well against Newcastle considering how much that team cost and the majority have played together for 2 seasons so apart from a slip at the end we did ok. Hamburg I did expect a win but they are also a good side who were close to going up last season, Olympiacos was disappointing however look at those 3 teams, they are of a higher calibre than what we will face in our league and I include the mhanky mhob in that as well. Beale will know his starting 11 and we should see it against Hoffenheim minus Goldson of course, Souttar for me has been excellent as he looks more comfortable in the right side so for me he Starts.

But I am concerned about our identity on the pitch and our style of play as I can't really tell what it is yet. The payers you mention that don’t have a future with us Lundstrum, BB, Davies and Hagi and possibly Matondo, McLaughlin should all be sold on
the new players are just settling in think Sima will come good just needs time I reckon
Lammers has been a standout so far for me
2 new players in Danilo and Cifuentes still to come in and strengthen the team
think Lawrence has a big role to play and think he will be good once fitness levels back up
I’m not panicking over these fixtures so players need fitness levels up so still to gel and some on shop window
Olympiakos were playing that game last night as if it was a qualifier
MB looked relaxed and calm as he knows it meant nothing other than what we have pointed out
We will see the real team and the real intent come the real qualifying round
We have a lot of technically gifted players in the squad who will come good when it matters I reckon
Definitely no time to panic just enjoy seeing the players on the pitch getting fitness up and getting time to gel before we get down to the real deal

My only concern of Dessers, Mols, is his fitness. If he stays fit, he'll be a player for us.
I like Hagi as a player, and love his attitude, but he's a luxury player who doesn't do anywhere near enough for the team. In all his time here, can anyone really say he's been a success?

Before Hagi got his injury he was let's say not performing very well and was needing dropped. Yes he can pick out a nice pass or hit a good shot but these moments are few and far between. I would't be sad too see him sold.

Good piece Big Ben, the players that we moaned about last season are still involved at the moment, Davies Matondo Lundstram Barisic Hopefully we can move these players on soon . Football is not a complicated sport a manager must identify the system he wants to play and stick with it, I appreciate that sometimes it may need tweaking but not on a game to game basis. I hope MB knows his system and doesn’t try to get too clever. I think the two boys coming in may well provide the spark that’s missing.

Lundstram . That was maybe the worst 20 mins I have ever seen from a single player in a rangers jersey last night. Continually gave the ball away and his weight of pass was school boy. His movement, anticipation and space awareness was dreadful. How many touches does he need before he shifts it on? and his tackle that screamed “I’m miles off the pace here” he should have got a red for that. I was always a big fan but that was final straw for me. get him moved on and use Rice for his minutes. I’m not one to criticise on here but out of the shape (far too narrow) our defensive errors (left side needs replaced) and lack of creativity Lundstram performance has me shaking my head in disbelief.

BigBen blunt are you sure ??. I like big Ben's posts, I don't always agree with him but he doesn't pull any punches. He's not only right about the players he mentioned but about those that are saying the league is lost before a ball gets kicked. I don't actually like Dido but as the song goes, there will be no white flag upon my door, I'm a ger and, always will be. A wee bit of artistic licence with the last bit.

My opinion on Sakala is that MB, and the board, would prefer he moved on to bring in these funds, only if the figure of 4-5m is true?! If this is the case, I'd be telling him straight, he wouldn't be in the first 11 and appearances were going to be very limited.
Or we could go down the Goebbels route and take away all his privileges, make him train away from the squad, take his mobile off him, and send him to bed each night without any supper! Too much?!
