Worst thing Steven Gerrard done at Rangers was appoint James Tavernier as captain. Connor Goldsons 6 best months at Rangers was when Patterson played RB. He finally had someone who he trusted and didn't have to cover for all the time. 1st thing that needs done is to replace Tavernier and Barasic. Time and time again they cost us with poor defending. And before all the were have you been tripe starts I gave up for a while because I was sick of being called a celtic fan for speaking the truth about this terrible Rangers squad. Seems there's more who have finally realised this now.

I agree about Tav and barasic but it is a bit suss coming on after we lose a cup final sweep.
You should always post as everyone entitled to their opinion no matter what it is. People may agree with you people may not that’s just life.

Far enough Storm I understand what your saying. But I'm one very angry Rangers fan at present. Trust me there's been worse performances of late that I was thinking about coming back on. Partick Thistle and Ross County at home but decided against it.

Tav and Barasic have never been the best defenders in the world but they are excellent going forward and for me if we had a stronger midfield that gave them the appropriate cover then we would not be having these debates. Our centre backs could also be better.
We had a quality up and coming right back, he was sold, we had a quality up and coming left back, he was sold. We are now saying let's get Yilmaz fit and in the team but most of us have never seen him play and our track record for signing quality players hasn't been that great!
There is a lot more wrong at our Club right now than our two full backs.
We have for far too long brought in players that are simply no where good enough for Rangers. Hopefully the two players signed in January will prove to be the first of many that are closer to the standard that we should expect to see in a Rangers jersey.

Totally agree with you Sweep4, Tav and Barasic are poor defenders and Tav not fit to be a Rangers captain, I thought this a long time ago.

same old about our tav and borna but have more assists than anyone else at the club. and tav even though most are penalties, are you saying that we have anyone else who would convert the same percent, i am not so sure.
the problem was midfield not defence. noone tracked the runners, kamara stood watching and tillman runs back to the half way line and stops. we miss the players who would put their body on the line and burst a gut to break the play down.

Sweep we did have bad performances but we’re winning. Beale needs time to get his squad together at least a summer and winter window. I was one that didn’t want Beale near the place but the gamss you mentioned partick and Ross cty we would have lost under gio. Beale is left with aging squad that needed sharpened up after we won 55 and it didn’t happen.

You aren’t the only one angry well apart from DK as everything is rosy in his world.
