If we do manage to sign sima on loan, with a view to buy at the end of the season long loan deal, where do we see him playing in our team? The reason i'm asking is after reading how certain football people rate him, some say he's a right winger but more say that he'll play as a more central striker and see this as his main position, moving forward ?.

I think he could be sakalas replacement once he’s in I think we will move sakala on. Seems epl and bundesliga clubs after him. I’d be happy with £5m and thank him for his efforts.

We have been playing with split wide strikers and a 10 in behind, so he would play as one of the two forwards. Or if we play as a 3 he can play off the right. Same goes for lammers who can play off both sides and centrally.

The modern hybrid forward means most these guys are just as comfortable out wide as in the middle. Our manager doesn't need 2 players with the exact same qualities.

The watchword next season will be fluidity and the players we have signed or are targeting emphasise that. We will utilise all the space going forward and players will operate in between full-backs and central defenders while switching their individual areas of attack. We might have a player who will operate all across the front line, horizontally instead of vertically. I see that being Cantwell. The only static part of the unit will be the back three or four. Hopefully it will resemble the old 'total football' the Dutch Masters perfected. Exciting times, I think.
