Looks like Tav is going nowhere, Trabzonspor have signed a Portuguese RB.
1.) 23 Jul 2024 22:56:57
More than one team interested Rabbi.
2.) 23 Jul 2024 22:57:23
Their chairman did say one would be signed quickly. Hope someone else is ready to come in soon.
3.) 23 Jul 2024 23:08:01
If true, I hope a lot of you offer SWS a sincere apology. He said last week that they were signing a Portuguese lad and has said from the very beginning that Tav won’t be leaving ?.
4.) 23 Jul 2024 23:10:16
Suspect besiktas will come in for him, maybe few championship teams be an option:
Maybe Saudi?
I suspect he’ll still be here.
Sterling will play against Tim’s and in tougher euro games.
Tav will also get plenty matches.
5.) 24 Jul 2024 02:39:04
Maybe maybe maybe story of last few years.
6.) 24 Jul 2024 03:19:00
Zikos why an apology? It's a rumours site and I don't believe the transfer window shuts next week.
7.) 24 Jul 2024 03:48:54
Stevie g, Sterling should have been playing those matches last season we could all see it, why wouldn’t the RB you push to the wing be tav if he’s the numbers guy? Weird choices last season for me when the maeda fix was pretty simple.
8.) 24 Jul 2024 04:08:52
Colly said same thing early last season.
9.) 24 Jul 2024 04:56:46
Also it wasn’t the guy he posted either zikos.
10.) 24 Jul 2024 05:23:19
Zikos but Tavernier will not be a Rangers very soon, told he can leave.
11.) 24 Jul 2024 05:58:22
Stevie not a chance of that happening mate, we CAN'T have a player on his wages sitting on the bench, we need to bring our wages right down now or either that we'll have a big problem with uefa, some fans need to realise this and I really believe this is what Clement was talking about last week.
12.) 24 Jul 2024 06:33:53
He did say it zikos, yes he did, but only after the chairman had made it known to the media, this was at the same time the Tav bid was made, he should apologise for constantly berating everyone who has a differing opinion on all things Tav. IMHO.
13.) 24 Jul 2024 07:16:08
My star, clement stated they are all able to leave for the correct price except butland, so it's not just tav you can apply that to mate so your statement is nil and void my friend and by the way tav is staying.
14.) 24 Jul 2024 07:20:07
Walter we get it. U r ruin the site.
Great to see u want us to continue with players past it.
15.) 24 Jul 2024 07:32:02
You've obviously not got a clue about your club sws, go do some research ?.
16.) 24 Jul 2024 07:40:09
Agree John it's monotonous now?.
17.) 24 Jul 2024 07:43:42
Just because clement said they can leave at right price doesn’t mean they will.
18.) 24 Jul 2024 07:56:28
Even if he does stay, PC has already said he won't play every match so we should still be stronger there with Sterling anyway.
19.) 24 Jul 2024 07:56:30
Mystar why phrase it your club rather than our club?
And are you falling back into old ways of saying folk don't have a clue
To be fair you've got to hella lot wrong on hear to be levelling that phrase at people.
20.) 24 Jul 2024 08:05:32
Are you getting this info from your mutual friend of johns sws? That turned out after years to not be a mutual friend at all ?.
21.) 24 Jul 2024 08:06:09
Stewarty we NEED some big hitters off the wage bill right now.
22.) 24 Jul 2024 08:28:32
Rfc I'm maybe wrong with some players that couldn't play in our league, certainly not clueless on any aspects of football mate, plenty on here need to understand if our wage isn't lowered immediately we will be in bother with uefa.
23.) 24 Jul 2024 08:33:41
John there's more than me ruining the site if your thinking like that mate because it's constant ALSO with some on the flip side of what i'm saying ie. tav is definitely leaving etc ? so more than me pal ?.
24.) 24 Jul 2024 08:37:50
My star, i know more about my club than you'll ever know pal! I would also wager anything that i attend more rangers games than you, so wind your neck in as i've had about enough of your sarcasm towards me because i have a difference of opinion on what you have with a player leaving or staying ?I will refrain from talking about this subject again!
25.) 24 Jul 2024 08:48:05
Walter, if you know the club so well, I don't understand how you think Tav is good enough.
26.) 24 Jul 2024 08:51:18
That a promise??.
27.) 24 Jul 2024 08:57:31
You know more than me?that is embarrassing mate, give yourself a break man, you sound like you're having a bad time, attended more games sws, I'm at every home game, i used to be at every away games as well, so you most be doing well man.
28.) 24 Jul 2024 08:59:33
Doesn't mean anything, they've been in for malheiro for a month and he also plays right wing.
They bid again for tav on saturday, H&H expect it done by the weekend.
29.) 24 Jul 2024 09:12:41
Mark, if he knew about the club so well he'd known we must save on wages now.
30.) 24 Jul 2024 09:28:27
I'm at every game, My star and even trips abroad and have done for many a year, so don't give us it!
31.) 24 Jul 2024 09:29:49
We should change this site name to Rangers Bitching.
32.) 24 Jul 2024 09:32:39
U r correct tjs.
33.) 24 Jul 2024 09:43:11
And there is the real SWS for years he’s been telling us he’s the best Rangers ever!
34.) 24 Jul 2024 09:46:09
Two trips abroad every season sws, but I know more about Rangers than you lol, embarrassing chat that mate, especially in our 50's.
35.) 24 Jul 2024 10:05:37
This is getting beyond a joke now ?♂️ my dad is bigger than your dad ?.
I feel a sabbatical coming on by someone for a couple of hours.
36.) 24 Jul 2024 10:15:49
I'll throw you a bone here sws because some of what you post I agree with and makes a lot of sense, however some of the folk who believe times up for Tav may not be on here everyday or scroll through to see what has been posted before, however some, myself included at times, are only constant with it in reply to your constant opinion and thought which you state over and over again mate, which as some as said above, can be monotonous and repetitive. It's all ifs and buts and I enjoy dishing out and taking a bit of banter so don't take things to heart mate, but then I read you're the biggest supporter on here and I put my head in my hands and couldn't finish my Cheerios. You don't help yourself do you ?.
37.) 24 Jul 2024 10:22:12
Calm down calm down . in a scouse accent or we might need to call the bizzies.
38.) 24 Jul 2024 10:30:24
It's your continual sarcasm towards myself My star because i believe a player will stay and you don't and it was you who firstly stated that i didn't have a clue about our club ?Go back and read what you posted ?I think it was yourself who began to start the personal posts to myself and i've said on here before, that i respected you as a poster remember ? But that's fine and i'll move on.
39.) 24 Jul 2024 10:30:35
Aye simmer down lads, coops u write what u want mate. I also agree tav will still be here, I believe he’s been told he can leave but he’s under contract and I believe he’ll stay this season
Beale and others give him a wee break he’s a passionate fan esp about certain players over the years.
If we don’t want to read and engage in topics just scroll by it.
We won’t know until the window slams shut so let’s just enjoy as best e can ??.
40.) 24 Jul 2024 10:33:20
They bid for Tav an hour after they signed malheiro.
41.) 24 Jul 2024 10:35:07
Bitchin over who is the best attendee/ supporter, christ its nuts, playground stuff from grown ass men.
42.) 24 Jul 2024 10:43:56
Is it always a bit nasty on here now, not been on for a while but it looks to be a daily custard pie or pillow fight.
43.) 24 Jul 2024 11:17:02
Fork I'll swap you my banana for your Jaffa cakes.
My mum packs me a s***e lunch ?.
44.) 24 Jul 2024 11:42:18
Jammy dodgers the day bud????.
45.) 24 Jul 2024 12:09:07
Ffs grow up lads. some of that above is embarrassing.
I’m not getting involved in the SWS and My Star dick swinging comp, however, info I got was that Tav hasn’t been told to find a new club, like others have, he was told that if a suitable offer came in we would allow him opportunity to talk to another club. Tav has indicated his preference is to stay but will speak to interested parties. Tav could end up staying and still be our first pick RB.
46.) 24 Jul 2024 14:11:21
That would be unfair to watch a gd player fall further than the player he used to be, he must know he's lost pace and performance levels are falling. Shouldn't be first choice RB, if he is then he's in the crosshairs and it's our weakest point in the team all over again.
47.) 24 Jul 2024 16:15:32
Class thread ? sws ripping his tshirt off like hulk hogan "am telling you tav is staying brother whatcha going to dooo" calm down mate we will find out in due course.
05 Jul 2023 18:37:43
Has anyone got any idea if we're still interested in Thomas Kristensen the young CB at Arhaus? I believe he was even meant to have visited the facilities months back?
1.) 05 Jul 2023 18:50:38
Rabbi, I’d take a chance on that guy.
2.) 05 Jul 2023 19:06:06
Yes he definitely visited, rabbi, I would not be unhappy if he signed although I’ve heard nothing.
3.) 05 Jul 2023 19:29:54
He was indeed scouted the towering defender
Maybe this could re surface this link.
4.) 05 Jul 2023 19:38:22
I know he suffered an injury and was out the second half of the season so maybe that has delayed it.
5.) 05 Jul 2023 21:30:19
A definite to sign then rabbi ?.
6.) 06 Jul 2023 02:38:39
I said about this guy months ago, this is the monster cb we need.

Good interview from Koppen on RTV. I just feel we'll struggle to keep a hold of him especially when we're hardly giving him any money to work with. Hopefully we can get a decent budget for next summer when he's had 18 months to build targets. Also positive to hear him talking about wanting to work on ways to accelerating our young Scots into the first team.
I feel next season them across the city will have a bigger turnover due to players desperate to move on to bigger leagues especially if they don't progress in Europe this season. That's when we need to strike. Hopefully we can get both cups this season and run them close in the league, anything can happen as we've seen in the past but we've got to be realistic.
1.) 12 Oct 2024 10:42:50
Rabbi don't disagree and mention the same story which I read in the Sun. You could look at it that the lack of money makes his job more challenging and more 'fun' to do. He does tend to stay for a few years at places until he is 'poached', 6 years in total at PSV.
We can but hope as he has a success rate at Gent and PSV which we could do with some of at moment. the positive was that they are looking at areas we are weak and discussing what budget they need and is available. that is positive at least.
2.) 12 Oct 2024 12:42:57
It’s an uphill battle for him with no cash and no one want to play in our league.
3.) 12 Oct 2024 12:52:30
I`m totally the opposite, it was a lot of words without any real content to tell the fans what's happening recruitment wise. Didn`t think that progressing our own young players is under his remit, that's down to the academy to produce them and Clement to decide when they are ready, unless he`s going to go down the Wilson route and sign young players for the B team or even sign young Scots players for the First team squad . We got Barron but ignored Miller, Watson and Cameron, two of which wouldn`t have cost a fortune.
Talk is cheap but but wasting some of the budget we did have on Propper, Diomande and Igamane and loan fees on Cortes and Cerny doesn`t fill me with confidence. Players will only shine and be able to be sold on if they are stand outs in a good team. For all his reputation the only gem we have signed is Barron and we all knew about him anyway, so he`s not impressed so far as far as I am concerned . At least he gave an interview after nearly a year in the job, so that's good.
4.) 12 Oct 2024 13:34:58
I think that most or a lot of young players take time in any team and league to play to their potential though. I was looking at Mohammed Kudus at Ajax who scored a lot of goals at Nordsjaelland but in his first 2 seasons in Holland scored 5 goals in the league. In the third he scored 11 which won him his move to West Ham where he is now scoring more freely with the experience he has built up. Time will tell if the budget was wasted. However we are talking about the guy who at PSV unearthed players such as Saibari, Bakayoko, Maehle, Madueke and Babadi. so does he have a better eye for a player than the fans of a club. Instant success is what fans look for form signings and that rarely happens.
5.) 12 Oct 2024 14:02:05
Of course it's in his remit. He for one wants the club to be successful and have a Scottish identity. He also wants to have assets that we don't need to spend big on coming through to make money to invest into better players.
It's almost like some fans don't understand the reality of the situation we're in or just get off on being angry or something.
6.) 12 Oct 2024 17:55:50
It's his job to identify all types of players both from within to the wider market. He also stated that we needed to look into unknown markets, which we should be doing instead of the old cast offs from England which we have done for many many years now.
These young guys will of course take some time to settle into the league and country and also a team that is struggling for rhythm. Propper was of course brough in for experience but time will tell if that's worth it.
Unfortunately the Cortez deal is a wasted fee due to obligation to buy as he can't stay fit for more than a game or two and I hope he isn't another Roofe or Jacko.
7.) 12 Oct 2024 18:32:39
This is another Jesus wept moment for that guy that’s counting.
Wsl are you serious? It’s not under his remit? Of course it is. Do you not understand his job?
How do you know we have ignored these players? Maybe clubs didn’t want to sell them and we aren’t signing miller next window of window after that and so on.
One of you most ridiculous posts on here.
8.) 12 Oct 2024 20:42:15
i am sure if cortez is constantly injured there is a get out clause. if not then someone in the contracts department needs sacked.
9.) 12 Oct 2024 21:21:53
Angus I think Storm?.
10.) 12 Oct 2024 22:03:23
cortes 70% of matches to trigger the obligation to buy.
11.) 12 Oct 2024 22:13:28
Angus, the more I read your posts and responses, the more I agree with you buddy. Good to hear someone on hear recognising that sometimes players just take a bit of time and we should be nurturing and supporting them rather than berating them for not being 10 out of 10 instantly every week. Propper was captain at his last club and will come good, diomande and ignore are young African players who will take a bit of time to adapt but show real promise. Koppen is a great signing but we're on a budget so this will take time, please can we just give them a bit of leeway.
12.) 12 Oct 2024 23:01:24
Angus it was John that posted that hopefully is true because he ain’t making 70% of our games.
13.) 13 Oct 2024 08:09:23
correct Storm sorry I should have possibly said it was John who said it.
14.) 13 Oct 2024 09:50:56
Angus, I do know your a new user mate but you'll soon realise this is just the way storm is, see he had a small kick at you yesterday but you dealt with it really well.
15.) 13 Oct 2024 11:22:05
A new poster who contributes well, for me Storm was backing up Angus's opinion, by saying that John posted it, and was hoping it was true bud.
16.) 13 Oct 2024 12:46:31
Stormtrooper, his job title is Director Of Football Recruitment, so how does that put the Academy development under his remit . The players are developed from there through the grades and then it is up to Clement to start to integrate the best of them into the first team if he thinks they are good enough. When Wilson was in charge he started to look at signing youngsters from other clubs the way EPL clubs do to us, he signed Rice, Lovelace, Stevens, Munn, Graham, Nsio and a couple of others but we have never really done this since. I did say that two out of the three were affordable as I don`t see us paying millions for Miller. The story on here was that we waited until the last minute of the window to bid for Cameron, after Dundee had sold McCowan and therefore didn`t need the money, they asked too much so we walked away.
His signings that he has paid money for, up to now, have not impressed and while Diomande and Igamane are raw and might come good, Propper will not be good enough to start beating the better teams. If we are struggling to be third never mind win the league this season it is the manager who will be held accountable but the lack of support from the board and poor recruitment should not be ignored as a major factor.
17.) 13 Oct 2024 13:09:18
Fork, Star and Storm. i'm big enough to handle any digs and kicks (if they are that) and is part of the fun on the forum; you need to have a tough skin. as long as everyone is then happy with me defending my position. I've said before everyone has and is allowed an opinion. they just need to realise that mine is right every time ?; that takes longer.
Storm was right in saying it was John who said it first and tbh I didn't take it as a slight. wasnt trying to claim it was my fact just couldn't be bothered going back through and seeing who it was. most of my stats are taken from somewhere else.
18.) 13 Oct 2024 18:13:49
Fork i'm not counting Storms Jesus wept; I guessed the last time as I remembered someone say he would count.
I think Koppen is responsible for signing players on a professional level so after a certain age. The academy age groups below that seems to be coaches and scouts who deal with that from looking at what the classes say on the Rangers sites. so WSL and Storm you are both right in different ways.
19.) 13 Oct 2024 19:11:05
My mistake bud thought it was you?.
20.) 13 Oct 2024 21:59:45
no problem Fork as I say I think when he last said and and somebody said how many was that I just said 4 so easy to think I was counting.
29 Sep 2024 14:04:34
The irony that the goal was scored during a stadium wide minutes applause and not the new normal jeering is not lost on me. The folk streaming out at the end when the team needs the energy and support from the fans should have their season tickets revoked. Fed up of these emotionally unstable mouth breathers screaming for 70 mins then leaving like they don't care.
1.) 29 Sep 2024 22:00:09
Agree Rabbi, with a game like today, the energy of the fans in the stands gives the team a huge help. I can't understand why at 1-0 with Hibs on top people would choose to leave anyway. I'd hate to get home and see they got a last minute draw or worse, we scored 2 in the last 4 minutes of injury time. Stay to the end always.
25 Feb 2024 10:29:03
I hope people are starting to take note of how just generally positivity from the crowd can charge the guys up and push them on to another level, Dessers especially seems to thrive in it.
It's a bit of a catch 22, but I hope we can in the future leave all the boos and jeers til the end and not when they're playing to give them the best chance, although I really don't think we'll see that again like the start of the season, as long as Clement is here.
The fan energy between us and celtic has flipped and that's why I'm certain we'll win the league because they've lost all unity. And just try and be more positive in all round life too guys it's too short, been doing it myself recently after being a bit of a cynic my whole life and it's really changed everything for the better.
1.) 25 Feb 2024 10:46:05
Its honestly making massive differnce imo. Would be great to have it like that every game. Livi at home etc.
2.) 25 Feb 2024 11:22:39
Rabbi; i posted about this long and hard the way Dessers and Lammers were treated early season was disgusting, you see Dessers is enjoying his football and scoring Lammers is enjoying his football and the fans there want the club to sign him , players should feel wanted by the fans and when we go to sign other players they will get good reports from ex players the way it used to be and they want to sign not saying no way am i going to that lot to be abused.
17 Oct 2023 15:22:39
Really impressed with Clement. He understands the importance of energy and believing in the team. I really hope all fans start everyone on a clean slate. It'll take time but I believe in him, very driven and focused on his fundamentals.
1.) 17 Oct 2023 15:31:28
Rabbi, I liked what I heard.
2.) 17 Oct 2023 15:52:02
Looking forward to what he does. He mentioned fitness previously, and we haven't looked fit for a while. I remember gio wasn't into it according to airfield, and to me, that seemed to carry on under beale. Its onwards and upwards now, WATP!
3.) 17 Oct 2023 15:52:41
I'll only be impressed when I see his team play well.
Is that not what he's hired for
Sorry but hard to see how someone speaking the usual phrases is impressive
Talk is cheap
This guy will need a bit more time as he's been left a total mess.
4.) 17 Oct 2023 16:44:07
Talk is cheap Gofor and no one knew that better than Mr Beale. I already like and trust this guy more after only 10 minutes of listening to him. Agree improvements and results on the pitch are all that matter though.
5.) 17 Oct 2023 17:07:44
Gofor because that is my opinion.
6.) 17 Oct 2023 19:17:06
It's not just talk though; this guy has achieved before and there is a seriousness about him that was never there with Beale. Beale didn't like some players because he just didn't like them and they were gone. This guy is a lot more serious. I'm always optimistic, even Pedro is doing well just now, but this guy will deliver.
7.) 17 Oct 2023 23:44:46
Go for your opinions are all over the place as usual … just like when beal was here?
Look at what you posted earlier
“ 17 Oct 2023 18:44:50
Just remember if results are not great at start it's not his team and been left a mess. “
Compare that to your post above?
It’s so polar like a total different person .
Infact I better double check to make sure I’m not making ba fool of myself again.
26 May 2023 21:59:13
That's Bordeaux out of the promotion places and would require them to better Metz by 4 goals with 1 game left. C'mon Metz. Although that Georgian striker Metz have is some player too and worth a punt.
1.) 26 May 2023 22:57:43
That’s only if both teams win their last game.
2.) 27 May 2023 09:31:52
Be really good for us if they bottle it sure that means we can sign him for free.
3.) 27 May 2023 09:55:49
David I believe the can only enact option if he gets promoted.
09 Oct 2024 22:26:56
Angus I'm glad to see another supporter with common sense and that is grounded in reality.
25 Sep 2024 11:26:25
Could it have been Filip Brekalo, 21 left back released by Zagreb in the summer. Brother of Joseph who was linked to us in summer?
25 Sep 2024 11:26:25
Could it have been Filip Brekalo, 21 left back released by Zagreb in the summer. Brother of Joseph who was linked to us in summer?
24 Sep 2024 18:10:00
The relentless assault of the Tim media. They know it's lapped up and causes in fighting. Psychological warfare 101.
17 Sep 2024 20:03:40
I'm sure Nils role is specifically Director of football recruitment. I could be wrong though.
12 Oct 2024 14:02:05
Of course it's in his remit. He for one wants the club to be successful and have a Scottish identity. He also wants to have assets that we don't need to spend big on coming through to make money to invest into better players.
It's almost like some fans don't understand the reality of the situation we're in or just get off on being angry or something.
11 Oct 2024 09:35:47
As much as he's a club legend he's an absolute helmet these days. He has little to no understanding of modern football. What would he bring to the club other than quotes that will be taken out of context on talk sport.
05 Oct 2024 21:00:17
Dowell didn't actually do bad coming on. Not that I'm for him being a regular. I think the sensationalism from people who don't grasp that football isn't the way it was before 2012. Lyon spent £150 million over the last 2 windows.
04 Oct 2024 09:30:57
Guy doesn't look like he wants to be at Rangers. Pressure is too much for him.
04 Oct 2024 09:27:11
They were against 2 of the highest rated young wingers in Europe. Each year that passes, the gap between the rich and the poor in football grows exponentially.
