I’ve wanted to see Hagi in a deeper role for a long time mainly due to his lack of pace, and unable to go past anyone.

He looked quite comfortable in there from what I seen, and what impressed me the most, was due to his ability to pass with both feet, always had the right angle for the pass for breaking the lines.

Would like to see him played more in that role in the coming matches to see if it suits him better, we might have just unearthed a new CM?

Completely agree, his speed of thought and ability with both feet could certainly help is breakdown the low block - especially from deeper with better players and movement ahead of him.

Unfortunately though I have a feeling he'll move on as he is one of our more sellable assets.

Absolute bonkers post, time to move on! Hagi is one of the most talented members of our team. He has been played pout of position for far too long at Rangers, he is not and never has been a wide player. Get him into his natural position and he will run that team.

He can’t tackle so can’t play the deeper role, he needs moved on.

Hagi would be best in a 10 instead of from the right, also wonder if he could drop peeper in Europe where it’s not so physical and play from centre mid I would like to try that, like a veron type.

Most of our games we don't need a deep play maker as we are so far up the pitch and when we are playing higher level opposition we need a ball winner in that area not a play maker, he's the catch 22 for us and I agree needs a move.

Not sure about him playing deeper as he is not the best defensively but in a more central attacking role he certainly has the skill to be able to open things up . We can`t get rid of everybody and having him as one of the options could be an advantage, it will depend how he has recovered from his injury .

Do the bouncy, I don’t get why you say we need to get move him on but then say he is one of our most talented players? To me that’s Bonkers!

And for those that said he can’t tackle, most number 8’s can’t tackle. That’s what the holding mid is for. Gaza’s broke his leg trying to tackle!

And he would also give us a goal threat from long range which we haven’t had since the likes of Albertz. Not saying he would be as big a threat as the ? but could probably get double figures from midfield.

Just saying it’s worth a try because he isn’t going to make it in the advanced roles.
