Report in the Express that Morelos is wanted by Chinese side Guangzhou Evergrande for £6m. Apparently contact has been made. I’d love him to stay, but that’s a very good offer for a player that only cost £1m.

Yes, if true then finances may dictate this one however I would secure an adequate replacement first as clubs will rip us off big time if they know we have received a big fee for Morelos! Also we have just now reached the stage where we have genuinely good options up top so we can’t go until the end of the season with only Cummings! Hopefully our new scouting dept. will have the next Morelos lined up!

If he were to go I’d be negotiating hard btw and get it up above £7M with a sell on, peanuts to the riches of the Chinese clubs.

Also one suggestion for a replacement would be a young Turkish striker currently playing for Nimes in Ligue 2 in France, Umut Bozok, 21 years old and great potential 👍🏽

I see various are now reporting we’ve knocked back 5. And we’ve been now offered 6.5m.

We should be holding out for 10m or as close as we can get to that. These clubs can afford it and if they want their man before the window closes they will bid accordingly.

Well we knocked back £5.3Millon for morales from the same Chinese club and they came back with £6.5Millon with add ons, these clubs have plenty of money i would tell them another million and he's yours but I personally don't think he would move to China even for the amazing wages, he has already stated he wants a move to England Spain or Italy, he also wants in the Columbia team and he knows he won't get a sniff playing for them if he goes to China so no chance, forget the big money bears and be prepared for £2Millon maybe £3millon max from English championship club in the summer, remember a certain McKay who was being looked by German clubs for £6Million only to be sold for £500,000, less than 6 months later, so I wouldn't get to excited fellow Bears.

MY RWB would be Cadden who can also play further up when needed, McBurnie and Devante Cole would both be affordable with that money coming in sign them both? CB Heneghan or Bartley or Souttar or He dry would do me bearing in mind any arrival is behind Bates McCrorie and Martin unless otherwise stated by Murty
