Gary Rowett confirms he has been interviewed for the rangers job!
1.) 06 Mar 2017 22:12:10
No, read the whole story, he simply confirms he had a meeting with rangers and says that it doesn't mean he was interviewed about the managers job
2.) 06 Mar 2017 22:53:30
Paulo Bento been sacked from Olympiakos, he would be cracking manager for Rangers and don't think he would be out of our reach.
3.) 06 Mar 2017 22:56:35
Should not of even had that why is he on the short list if we actually went for him as are new manager what a disappointment that would be all this wait then it's Gary rowett! would go down with me like a fart in church.
4.) 07 Mar 2017 06:26:47
Agree totally Rowatt has won nothing and us still relatively inexperienced as a manager, Not what we need
5.) 07 Mar 2017 11:04:34
Nice guy with loads of potential. However, we can't afford another "on the job learning " manager. We need experience, leadership, desire and a passion for winning.
6.) 07 Mar 2017 13:47:08
ive heard that pedro is like klopf he likes his team to attack but aslo likes to defend as a team and have every player shutting down the ball so our guys would get better at passing and moving even though they are not too bad at that the now and most importantly they will be defending as a team what we haven't done in a few years
7.) 07 Mar 2017 13:53:19
Well that rules pedro caixinha out. You do realise gary rowett has managed more games than caixinha.
8.) 07 Mar 2017 14:49:09
apart from alex mccleish nobody on our shortlist has managed a big club so everyones a risky appointment personally i feel ecks time has passed i like gary rowatt done a great job at both burton and birmingham on a limited budget which i feel is how he would be working if he came to us people saying they don't want him because he has won nothing well neither had their manager across the city no matter who comes its going to be a risky appointment
9.) 07 Mar 2017 15:02:19
I like Rowett's ideas, he has specific tactics for certain scenarios during a match, how the game is going go scorewise.
10.) 07 Mar 2017 15:41:58
hooley, mark hughs has managed more games than both of them put together but that doesn't make him a better manager also pedro has taken a team into cncacaf final (sorry bout the spelling)
which is the equivalent to the champions league not as big name teams in it but very high quality!
now let's be fair if we got a top top manager that would cost us the same as brenda costs them that money would come off of our transfer budget, which isn't massive as it is.
we need to get behind whoever the board appoint as anything else will harm our great club
11.) 07 Mar 2017 16:52:08
Time to face facts - we are not a BIG team anymore - the football world has moved on and doesn't care too much for the good old days.
We are the proverbial big fish in a wee pond - unless we pay ridiculous money to players and manger (like Brenda) we need to rely on guys with potential who can use Rangers to enhance their career by making our club successful again.
That being said, we have a huge support, great tradition and history and we have ambitions to regain our place at the big table.
Sky and BT have gone a long way to ruining the game and 1000's of fans of Rangers pay big money to watch other teams play.
Just perhaps if Sky and BT had wind of profits based on investing in our game or insisting that their deals for the English game had to include some integration with Scotland we would become more attractive to investors.

James I will back the new manager 100% whoever he is. I just think it's a mistake. I will be overjoyed to be proven wrong and I hope I am.

Rangers have lodged an undisclosed bid for preston striker joe garner!
12 Jun 2016 11:38:49
Rangers are trying to sign Hamilton keeper Michael McGovern!
1.) 12 Jun 2016 12:51:39
Mcgoverb is definitely not good enough, think a bit out off the box rangers plz.
2.) 12 Jun 2016 13:33:09
Out of the box! Ha!
08 Jun 2016 09:08:53
Rangers are still in negotiations with kranjcar who is keen to sign for the Bears!
1.) 08 Jun 2016 10:48:15
Cannae be Zlatan because he's "promised" the masses in green and grey he'll be joining them 😅.
2.) 08 Jun 2016 12:36:57
Danny ings possibly heard this rumour wks bk but Probly pie in the sky.?
3.) 08 Jun 2016 13:31:16
Ings would be a fantastic signing, but can't see it happening due to his wages.
4.) 08 Jun 2016 14:50:53
i would have said D ings was no chance. However after seeing what all of the Tottenham players are getting paid I'm not so sure Ings is a player outwith our financial reach. Vertonghan is on less than 30k p/ w. the likelihood is D Ings is on less than that. Not impossible, potentially if such a deal was partially financed by Liverpool. I'm not saying we will get Ings but there are a hell of a lot of players in EPL who are not getting 60-100k p/ w. If he needs game time and he's not going to get it at Liverpool at this stage then who knows.
5.) 08 Jun 2016 15:01:09
whats he on like 65 grand a week defo pie in the sky.
6.) 08 Jun 2016 15:29:47
Descent logic gdog. As you say, if it were to be part financed by the parent club then why not. The Hat does have a good track record of developing players after all, so why wouldn't he be entrusted with some more?
7.) 08 Jun 2016 15:32:55
It would b a loan move for ings not a permanent transfer. here's hoping.
19 Aug 2016 11:55:30
Lescott has decided against a move to rangers due to family reasons!
1.) 19 Aug 2016 12:15:40
he couldn't agree terms after rangers found a problem with his knee.
24 Mar 2017 10:17:29
Who cares if rangers is in his blood, if he's good enough to enhance the team then that's all that matters!
20 Feb 2017 10:01:41
That would be an appointment that would give Brendan rogers sleepless nights (NOT) . Like Celtic we need to go and a statement in intent by bringing in a proper manager who will put bums in seats. And can we please get away from all this 'he's a rangers man' carry on!
01 Dec 2016 20:40:01
Watching that rubbish the other night took felt like watching the dross we had under McCoist. I don't think warns will lose his job if we lose to the sheep on Saturday but as a true blue I really don't see any progress under the current regime.
08 Nov 2016 19:30:27
Good riddance to bad filth!
31 Oct 2016 23:12:50
For 2 million I would personally drive him down myself and through in dodoo as a freebee.
