Allegedly board r headed back to ibrox for meeting, very good source, reliable, Wilson also to be at meeting.

06 Nov 2022 14:47:34
Will be sad it hasn't worked out for him but glad if we pull the trigger.

2.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 14:50:16
Unfortunately John he needs to be relieved of his duties I like Gio and wanted him to be successful but it’s not to be.

3.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 14:54:35
John I hate seeing a Ranger get sacked but I don't see any other option unless we can't get the right person so I wouldn't be surprises if gio goes after ST. mirre game not before.

4.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 14:55:51
Snell I don’t think they have an option, although I’m being told after st mirren game.

5.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 15:07:17
I was at the Charity foundation ball last night and the chat round the tables was that Sean Dyche is at top of list to replace Gio.

6.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 15:08:59
He should go now. Always respect the guy for coming in when sg walked getting us to el final and winning our first domestic cup from coming back up. Unfortunately in the league he isn’t good enough.

7.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 15:09:01
So John is it because they don't have 1 candidate so will leave hio in post tbh I feel that's unfair on gio and fans. Make a decision.

8.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 15:09:06
If that is the case John then surely means the board is giving up the league?

Would be acknowledging Gio isn't the right man but keeping him hanging around for two games to drop even more points.

9.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 15:11:31
It is desperately sad as Gio’s tenure started very well. However any new man coming in will have to work with the majority of this squad as I suspect money will be tight and there are few genuine stars poised to make us millions.
So some of these players need to take a long hard look at themselves too.

10.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 15:18:29
It’s dyche for me. Would also love Neil McCann involved.

11.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 15:26:01
We have list of three is my understanding, some want it to be next week to give new oerson time to work with the squad

My info is the action is to give us best possible chance off winning league.

12.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 15:26:04
I don't question your info John and respect it but keeping him on for the St Mirren game makes no sense at all. If the board decide he is to go then he should be gone by tomorrow and let an interim team in until a replacement can me found.

13.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 15:32:09
I agree King Colak. If we already think players are putting a pull shift in for him, what chance do we have if they know he is going anyway?

Thanks as always for sharing what you know John ?.

14.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 15:36:16
There are bigger problems than Gio at Ibrox agree that he can't turn this around. Poor players and he doesn't know how to make them win. If we are going to be a club playing second fiddle to them in terms of money spent then we need a manager who can make us hard to beat at least. This board aren't spending any money so we need someone who can use the academy and bosmans etc.

15.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 15:43:17
Who manages club for six days if we sack Gio b4 hearts king Colak, David McCallum.

16.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 15:43:27
John. I know your just passing on info as always abd appreciated . but surely we can't wait any longer, he should a been gone after Dundee game and that’s being nice, , 7 points 19 goals. That’s 8 points, if we want to mate some surt of effort he has to go now and get things moving . ??‍♂️??‍♂️ This season feels as if it’s ended before it even got going, nightmare.

17.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 15:45:35
Correct mcnauren 7 games till window opens.

18.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 15:47:32
I agree if they keeping him on will just add to the bad feeling around the ground, I don’t like seeing us sack our manager but this can’t go on the performance are dire, and I don’t only blame the management team it’s fro boardroom lever through recruitment and onto the park but I just can’t see Gio surviving so better it’s put to bed ASAP the fans have turned and that never ends well.

19.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 15:48:18
Dyche imo isn't the answer.

20.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 15:55:27
Never like to see a manger lose his job especially and ex player and I so so wanted him to succeed but we are predictable shambles at the moment.

We need a change now
I just hope the board have been planning and don’t put a panic appointment in place.

21.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 16:00:59
Wilson should leave with Gio. Looking at the stats the issue was more on the pitch than the dugout. The board have taken their eye off things since 55 happened maybe they are getting ready to leave (ai hope so)

22.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 16:03:36
Dyche would struggle at hearts never mind rangers.

23.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 16:09:55
Who was the poster on here that said sean dyche had a similar way of thinking to that rat james mclean and would be morally wrong to appoint him because of his beliefs ?? Someone posted this a week or so ago and i honestly can't remember who ?So whoever posted this please post and let us know on here what you were meaning please ?.

24.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 16:11:23
I agree Mark44,sean dyche's management style won't suit us imo also ? Dyche ain't a bad manager but i believe his style of football is not for us!

25.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 16:14:04
Dyce would struggle at hearts and isn’t the answer guy literally managed a mediocre team in epl finished 7 one season and finished above eddies howes Bournemouth team most season look how he’s doing at Newcastle don’t be daft Sean Dyce would be a decent you don’t get a run in epl of your not got Burnley best run in over 100 years.

26.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 16:16:12
Both need to go. Ross Wilson can’t survive this either.

27.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 16:22:26
John it wouldn't be McCallum for me, who it is I don't know pal. I would love someone that has some level of experience, someone that the players will react to as we can't go dropping many more points. I see some people in the past say Thomson and McCann, as an interim that could be a possible option. Ideally we get the new manager in asap and don't need an interim as for me they don't really work out that well.
Keep us updated though please as I'll be glued to here now looking for more from you to see the latest.

28.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 16:26:33
Does anyone have an idea of who the 3 names are that the board are considering.

29.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 16:29:54
Your opinion, mcallum could not motivate us in a semi final, last year

For me issue re delay could be over work permit. Took Gios permit five days I think.

30.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 16:38:27
Dyche won the Championship with Burnley and also had them scoring more goals than any other team in the league that season.

He is a better manager that some on here give him credit for.

31.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 16:38:56
Coop there is a search function on the site so you can have a look and see who said it if need be.

32.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 16:44:04
Good point John ref any delay and that would make sense in that scenario as to why the board would keep Gio on. I suppose we shall see what happens but I still don't think its good management from the board to keep him on if he is getting sacked effectively. At times recently he seemed to struggle to get full effort from the players, imagine what they would be like if they knew he was going and he's trying to motivate them and then the fans turn, I just can't see the board leaving him and themselves open to that.

33.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 16:46:04
Dyche wouldn’t be my preference either . Knutson would be who I’d be going after.

34.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 16:49:30
Aye coops, somebody did mention that Dyche is of a similar ilk to McClean. Leaving this aside I also feel his style of management would be all wrong for us.

35.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 16:49:32
John27,if you don't mind me asking mate, is there 3 names under consideration to replace gio ?.

36.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 16:50:48
Appreciate what is being said regarding sources etc however it makes no sense or difference. This league campaign is done. If we are replacing the manager it should not be about trying to win the league, it should be about a longer term vision. Going down that route is daft and reckless. Always the same. What happens if the new manager comes in and doesn’t win the league.

Kent
Barsic
Tav 7 years at club, no other right back to fill his position.
Helander
Jack
Arfield
Davis
Alfie
Kamara
Wright
Salaka

Major rebuild ahead.

37.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 16:54:17
Who you hearing we might target John? Can’t see us paying off gio and paying compensation to get someone else. Would imagine it will be someone out of work if gio goes.

38.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 16:55:29
I get it with the manager cituation, but there are just too many players in the team, for far too long who are underperforming week in and out, and do not value our shirt, as sad as it is we need an overhall, even with a new managers same guys who are getting beat on the pitch , on paper in spl we should be putting games too bed and keeping up with celtic at least, it is not just the manager, players shoud be scrapping out for the win, but we look like a pub team giving in too easy, and that's on the pitch guys too, been a few players here too long getting away with lackluster preforming, we need too be solid again n build a team from the back we let balogon n katic go n kept helander a guy that's injured istead of two guys who could of done a job, i'm sorry but these games we should not be losing, a lot has too be looked at including board decisions too.

39.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 16:59:15
If Gio manages another game for us then it's gross negligence from the board. Really wanted him to succeed but our season is over before the hangover from bonfire night has worn off bar the cups. He should have gone after the 7-1 if not after the humiliation at Parkhead. Interim management team might not be the ideal solution but it would be a disgrace to keep a dead man walking in the dugout.

40.) 06 Nov 2022
06 nov 2022 17:01:04
i might be wrong here

but i believe dyche comes from a very republican background, probably not his cup of tea.

41.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 17:04:20
I heard on the radio five mins ago that the team bus had to run the gauntlet of our fans leaving Perth for me that’s as shocking but when fans turn this is what happens and if the board don’t act fast this is what will happen on Wed all very sad considering the highs we have been on in last two seasons.

42.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 17:13:13
Wow just seeing these posts

not unexpected though to be honest when he goes
honestly it’s not nice But something hasn’t been right at all this season and possibly he’s fallen out with a few players and there not giving there all for him or the club
But he also needs to take his share of the blame with tactics and team choice over the course of this season

who we get in I have no idea but as well keep saying someon the players are going to react too and sit up and pay attention too and the manger will need to get these same players running through walls for him to try bridge the gap in the league
He needs to get the current crop of players to bring there A game for him
hard ask at this moment in time

Who do we all think it will realistically be?

43.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 17:15:21
There are videos online Twacoos mate and it wasnt overly heated. Just a bunch of piss off people asking questions.

Not a shark in site.

44.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 17:16:51
I can’t believe Dyche is even getting mentioned to manage us. His style at Burnley was as chronic as ours is. His only job was to keep Burnley up. That’s not the type of manager we need right now. We need a manager who knows how to play an attacking style of football and is a winner. Who that maybe I’ve no idea, that’s not our job. However I have no trust in that clown Wilson to get the right man in.

45.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 17:19:09
Is it true he was being given these past few games to save his job btw and he’s fallen at second hurdle? Aberdeen being the first?
someone text me that wasn’t sure if it was true or not?

John do you think Ross Wilson will stay?

46.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 17:33:25
First time posting but been reading up for a few months. I reckon we need to take a gamble and go for an attacking young manager. Not someone old school. Something new and bring some excitement. The issue with gio wasn't only the results. But how boring we have become.

47.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 17:38:42
Thanks Snell I had pictures in my mind of mayhem but I suppose it’s a bit chilly up there for sharks.

48.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 17:43:28
My info Walter we have a short list off three. Bets r placed

Yes stig I di believe Wilson will stay.

49.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 17:44:36
Tom u r not wrong imo.

50.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 18:00:58
NRD, totally uncalled for remark about Wilson, he's working with his hands tied financially, he doesn't set out to buy players that don't work out, it's hard to attract players to the scottish league, I remember when Gio became our manager most posters if not all were delighted he was our new manager.

51.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 18:35:22
Don’t want dyche anywhere near ibrox
His style of play is worse than gio long ball hammer throwers.

52.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 18:36:52
Gio is not a Ranger. He’s a Arsenal man so give him the boot. Never bring them back. I posted that and got pellets.

53.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 19:06:25
With your post bets have been placed John27 you have obviously bet vanoli mate ?.

54.) 06 Nov 2022
06 nov 2022 19:58:06
i rarely am john,
i was wrong once, it was a tuesday i think lol.

55.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 20:37:46
I don't believe that Dyche is of a similar background to McCleane but irrespective of this if we have any ambition then I wouldn't go for Dyche. I don't believe that it should just be Gio and his team that goes but what will surprise some people is that I wouldn't get rid of Wilson. I would however like to see the Parks family removed as quickly as possible! I see them as lacking in ambition, more interested in his Family Business than Rangers and a very poor Chairman that fails miserably to communicate with the Support.

56.) 06 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 21:09:49
Mark when your job is to bring in players good enough to make us a better team and you bring in Matondo who is utter gash and spunk £6 million on a project then I’m afraid your a clown in my eyes. Not all signings work out but did anyone actually scout Matondo because if we did that scout should get the sack anaw!

57.) 07 Nov 2022
06 Nov 2022 22:00:09
League is gone.

58.) 07 Nov 2022
07 Nov 2022 14:51:09
To me it sounds like board have already accepted the league is gone and want gio to drop more points so there is no pressure on new manager to win league and he can get time to rebuild.

Sounds crazy I know but this board don't seem to do anything good.

59.) 07 Nov 2022
07 Nov 2022 14:52:45
Nrd we are playing matondo out of position both times he's played on left has looked one of our best players the problem is everyone tiptoeing around Kent instead of dropping him.

60.) 07 Nov 2022
07 Nov 2022 14:54:19
I wanted gio to do well but he doesn't think things out well last time we played stjohnstone he started matondo on left wing and he pretty much destroyed them yet this time he has matondo on bench ??.

61.) 07 Nov 2022
07 Nov 2022 14:56:43
Macrae I bet you were one of the ones going mental and looking forward to uefa final

62.) 07 Nov 2022
07 Nov 2022 15:01:50
Mark 44 he may have his hand tied with budget but that does not explain baloguns release also when he was in the stands they board/ Wilson should have listened to the fans and at least given him the contact

Am I the only one that thought it strange that Davis a guy who hardly played got a contract extension when we have two promising youth in McCann and Lowry for midfield yet at the back we had helander out and signed Davies who wasn't ready to play and souttar who has a questionable injury record we also let katic and Simpson go but we fail to see the potential problems with souttar helander davies

Absolute crazy decision

Davis should have been allowed to leave and arfield and balogun get contract on merit.
