Statistically, Ryan Kent creates the most chances in the league.

So are we not realising this due to our strikers/ attackers not finishing chances?

If they finish these chances, and Kent gets the official assist along with higher score lines and wins does Kent then get the recognition his stats say he deserves?

It depends the quality of the chance he has created?
I certainly can’t remember Kent creating 30+ chances this season?
But his all round play ( for me ) has been terrible this season.
Even last season he was poor at times though he did show what he is capable off ( Dortmund ) on occasions.

2.) 05 Nov 2022 15:04:00
Colak takes his chances so Kent was doing that he have more assist running down wing cut inside ball to know where means nothing.

What do you think the shortlist for a replacement to Gio would be?

Dyche
Gattuso
Fariola
Knutsen
Neil McCann
Kevin Thompson
Ronald Koeman
Peter Lovenkrands
Martindale
Steven Gerrard
Wayne Rooney
Phil Neville
Ole Gunner Solskjaer
Mick Beale
Chris Wilder.

What about arsen wenger he never retired.

2.) 25 Oct 2022 12:05:48
Gattuso, Koeman, Beale and even Martin Dale as a outside bet.

3.) 25 Oct 2022 12:10:51
Kevin thompson should be nowhere near that list.

4.) 25 Oct 2022 13:13:27
Not many on that list we can afford and ones we can you would not want any of them, why does Thomsons name keep appearing, what has he done to justify being next Rangers manager.

5.) 25 Oct 2022 14:29:21
Gerrard rooney beale or dyche will do but i can see dyche getting a job before were looking rooney is happy in the usa so gerrard for me or beale if he leaves qpr.

6.) 25 Oct 2022 14:39:00
I like Gattuso he knows the club and has a fire in his belly that’s what we are lacking also he has knowledge of Italian football and players that might be suitable for Rangers.

7.) 25 Oct 2022 15:43:26
Forgive me for stating the obvious but should a SHORT list of candidates contain 15 people? That’s quite an extensive list of you ask me.

8.) 25 Oct 2022 15:56:26
Any fan who wants gerrard back is crazy we were playing horrible before he left regardless a being some points clear that would of changed plus his cup record wasn’t good enough for us.

9.) 25 Oct 2022 15:57:22
Gattuso has done quite bad at most clubs he’s been at the helm of.

10.) 25 Oct 2022 16:49:03
Gattuso And Mick Beale would be my 2 choices out that’s list after that I would like to see what Kevin Thompson could do.

11.) 25 oct 2022 17:08:27
duncan ferguson, with david martindale and neil mccann.

12.) 25 Oct 2022 17:13:37
Rfc I’ll tell you what Kevin Thomson can do, one. He can do one!

13.) 25 Oct 2022 18:15:13
Chris wilder is a good shout, harshly treated at shef u, and the Middlesbrough job is a poisoned challace, also know big lunny well.

14.) 25 Oct 2022 18:15:44
Beale with Big Duncan ferguson, Gattuso and Souness (for half time chats) .

13 Oct 2022 11:27:13
If Gio resigned or was sacked right now, who would be short or long term replacements at this moment?

Kevin Thompson?
Dyche?
Chris Wilder?

Who else is there?

Kinghenry3rd

1.) 13 Oct 2022 11:39:15
No thanks to any of the above from me.

2.) 13 Oct 2022 11:40:23
M Beale.

3.) 13 Oct 2022 11:40:58
Wouldn’t mind a team of Neil mccann Kevin t and Craig Moore. These guys talk sence on rtv and know understand rangers. Although you would think gvb would be the same. He needs to walk. Don’t think we can afford to sack him. I’d bet they 3 would help us out for a lot less than an ex perm manager or the likes.

4.) 13 Oct 2022 11:55:22
Craig Moore no thanks his tongue is up anges A. Hole.

5.) 13 Oct 2022 12:00:28
12th are you being serious? We’re sitting on zero points after 3 games with no goals and you want us to park the bus? Then you want Gio out and Neil McCain, Kevin T and Craig Moore? Do you want us to end up back in division 3 through natural causes?

6.) 13 Oct 2022 12:03:57
Well if that’s the case we will know how to beat them
Eh ?.

7.) 13 Oct 2022 12:21:55
Bodo/ glimt manager be my number 1 choice.

8.) 13 Oct 2022 12:30:02
Alloa. I answered the question he asked. No one asked ye to agree with it. We don’t have money to splash on players never mind new managers. I think they 3 would step in and help the job along until such a time we can afford one. And I would rather have parked the bus and lost 4-1 than lost 7. Are you serious?

9.) 13 Oct 2022 12:31:09
And for the record it’s 4 games with 1 goal mate. Chz ?.

10.) 13 Oct 2022 12:34:06
Why clamour for Kevin T talks a good game. but must be reason he gets quoted for jobs by never gets them. Thinks he is better than he is, that's why he left Kelty.

11.) 13 Oct 2022 12:45:46
12th you said we should have parked the bus and my point was after 3 games and zero goals you want us to park the bus. I know we’ve now played 4 games and have 1 goal.
Mate it’s all about opinions but I don’t see how sacking Gio and his team and bringing in those three would do anything other than set the club back. Do you think those three would have the guile and craft to qualify us for champions league if we didn’t win the league? And when do you think we’ll have the money to upgrade them?

12.) 13 Oct 2022 12:57:37
Gvb why Beale he walked out of rangers with gerrard.

13.) 13 Oct 2022 13:02:39
If we can't afford to spend money on quality players I find it difficult to see how we can spend money on removing the management team when a lot of the problems are down to the Board and the quality of players signed.
I think it would be a disaster to bring in a guy like Thompson or Dyche or Wylder, I would like to see Michael Beale at some point but why would he come to us when he is doing a good job at QPR and getting the backing to progress when he already knows that Gerrard wasn't given the support by Parks and his Cronies. Our problems are much higher up the tree at Rangers these days than our Manager!

14.) 13 Oct 2022 13:25:02
Kevin thompson? Deary me. Wohld rather steve bruce ??.

15.) 13 Oct 2022 15:18:57
Paul 86 for goodness sake Thomson scored against Celtic as did Fergie and Moore.

16.) 13 Oct 2022 17:31:57
Alloa. As I said. I answered his question. Who would I like to take over. I mentioned they 3 as a team. We wouldn’t have money to sack gvb. If he walked he we wouldn’t have money to replace him. Imho I think the 3 could come in and do a job. Get us bu until we could get a new manager. Re parking the bus. Yes that’s correct. I left at 4. It was 7 by time I got on mway. No rangers manager should survive a 7 goal drubbing at ibrox. I don’t get what your not grasping here. Park the bus limit the damage. Not create more space for them by playing Wright n Motondo. If we got beat 4 -1. Do you think so many people would want shot of him? I don’t.

17.) 13 Oct 2022 18:04:20
It’s a shambles. been through it all as most have and always had a belief that it would all work out. it’s not.

I can guarantee you Gio ain’t coaching long balls. He’s had 13 first teamers missing. The mental
And physical fatigue that the remaining 12/ 13 first teamers have been out through is draining. 3 games a week. Unable to rotate or keep the remaining players fresh. Then these tires and burnt out players resort to desperation tactics. They go into their shells. Confidence drained. There’s been no momentum built due to constantly needing to play players out of position.

Guys. When your only job is to draw or try and keep a clean sheet it’s 10 times easier than setting up to go for the win. Martindale and co set their stalls out to attack and try and take us on and we would slaughter them. Ask Martindale to work with a team expected tk win week in week out and it’s a whole different story.

Thanks John,

I bet Man Utd fans wish they had stuck with Moyes after years of changing managers and never letting anyone settle or create something.

Arteta nearly got the sack last season. Bottom of the league at one point. But trusted him. Let him bring in his players and now look at them.

Rodgers would set for the sack. Now look at Leicester. On a great run.

We seem to have a very “toys out the pram” mentality instead of supporting and backing our managers when times are tough. We seem much happier to get raging and demand instant change. Which never happens. Nothing is instant.

Thank you for the constructive feedback. I hope many others can have a read and open up some dialogue too. The negativity and toxicity within the majority of the fan base is of pure emotion at the moment and if this spills onto the park it’s not going to inspire the players to raise their game at all. It will do the opposite. We all want the team to prevail and we need to all collectively show why we are known as the best fans in the world and get behind this board who are putting the future of the club first which as tough as that is to accept as we all want instant on field profession we may need to accept the bigger picture here.

Let me clear up the “inexperienced players” comment as I can see I may not have explained this well.

We currently have an 18 year old and a 22 year old playing at centre back for us. Our cover at full back comes in the form of 21 year old Turkish left back Ridvan Yilmaz who doesn’t speak the language ans is here alone without family. Adam Devine at right back.

Back to James sands again. Learning a new position in the middle of the CL group stages.

Tillman, Matondo, McCann, Lowry and Ure are all still learning their trade. Same could be said for Fashion and scott wright who are still adapting to life at a top club with such high expectations.

I would like to add - in terms of management experience Gio is still relatively young and learning all the time too. He is nowhere near the finished article as a manager.
