Come on gers fans it may not all be doom and gloom. Ashley wants to promote sports direct via the champs league, never going to get there with the toon but will with the gers if her spends a fraction of what he has in Newcastle,

He will get rid of Ally, bring his own manager in, invest enough to take over Celtic, is that as bad is being made out?

King and others had their chance and only moved after Ashley made his ply and by then it was too late.

I m confident good times will follow, if I am wrong at least king and others an pretend to have a clear conscience however I for one won't buy it.

I would call on all gers fans to give this one last push to get back to the top what's the alternative?

If we get to the cl the only way ashley will be able to promote sd is by naming the stadium the only sponsors allowed on these match day are the cl official sponsors

Nonsense. Ashely's model is not to go in and throw cash at the problem. His model is to go and and cut costs, to make the business pay for itself and if you seriously think that Ashley is going to hand Ally or any other manager 20-30 million then you are in lala land. Tough times coming, management team out, Dennis Wise and Joe Kinnear in as the new management team, players on big contracts that have these huge incremental increases built in will be released and youth players brought in. Ashley IS NOT A RANGERS FAN. he see's this as a way of making a lot of money, that is the only model nothing else and once he has it doing what he wants he will sit back and let the money roll in, but it won't be to the club, it will be to him.
