BF putting to bed any rumours of him being number 2 to SG in today's presser.

EHL, I didn't see the whole thing, but he said he wouldn't manage anywhere if he didn't get the Rangers job. by being assistant or coach he isn't managing. the finest of hairs to split I know, but could be still be part of the coaching team and not break that vow?

Angus, my take from it was if he's not managing Rangers, he doesn't want to manage and if he's not managing he's happy with his ambassador role.

EHL I take that from it as well and having read it again it does sound like if he isn't number 1 he won't want to manage and happy to go back to the role. perhaps I am trying to be too clever in my interpretation (I know) and saying by being a number 2 or coach he isn't technically the manager here.

I think its funny how new guy coming in thelwell made a book coaching the 352 and Ferguson goes with playing 3 at the back i don't think any decision will be made until after season finished or maybe if Barry loses more games.
